Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantástico, terror e violência.

Live Entertainment, LLC, Russia in co-operation with EVENT FILM, Canada proudly present an annual festival event – International Horror, Action and Fantastic Film Festival & Awards "DROP".

The festival is being annually held in the city of Moscow since the year 2011 and contains 4 events:

- opening screening

- closing awards ceremony

- master-class and Q&A with movie stars

- film festival competition program screenings in cinema theatres

The Awards ceremony takes place in a big concert venue (changing every year) and consists of the show program and the ceremony of granting awards which is divided into the following jury voting categories:

- awards granted to local film distribution companies for the blockbusters screened in cinema theatres of Russia in the reported year;

- awards granted to young directors and producers as competition program. The category is called “Hope for Survival”;

- awards granted to World stars for the contribution to horror genre

The Awards ceremony is always visited and recorded by a large number of mass media.

The Master-class is a so-called Q&A horror convention held in a cinema theatre in a form of a question-answer session between the star guests of the festival and the audience + autograph session. The event usually ends with a premier film screening.

The festival program is a week non-stop screening of new movies in several Moscow cinema theatres. The films-participants of the competition program are being selected by the festival’s jury. Submissions are being analysed and accepted by the festival's organization committee during the whole year.

The festival's schedule usually also contains a pre-party and an after-party arranged for the honored guests and winners.

The TV version of the festival is televised by Tricolor TV platform.

The festival specializes in all sub-genres of horror and action film industry, i.e.: cartoon horror, comedy horror, psychological thriller, trash horror, zombie horror, giallo, slasher, suspense, detective, action, fantasy, sci-fi etc. Starting from the year 2013 the festival also specializes in survival horror video games sphere.

The festival is annually visited in person by World-known honored guests. The previous years’ guests were: Eric Roberts, Stuart Gordon and Bryan Yuzna, Jodelle Ferland, Costas Mandyllor & Tobin Bell, Lloyd Kaufman, Akira Yamaoka, Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, Preity Uupala, Yeppe Laursen, Silje Reinaamo, Daniel Licht, A.J. O Projeto Cineminha contempla mostras gratuitas de curtas-metragens voltados para o público infantil de escolas públicas (05 a 12 anos), professores, familiares e comunidade em geral.

As mostras gratuitas tem por objetivo, abordar o cinema e a animação de maneira lúdica através dos curtas-metragens exibidos. Além das mostras, o projeto também realiza oficinas de animação e produção de conteúdo audiovisual, despertando assim a criatividade das crianças e o interesse no audiovisual e outras formas de expressão artísticas.

Nas últimas décadas, e ao mesmo tempo em que surgiram novas tecnologias que acabaram por escanear a maioria dos processos do filme, o documentário conheceu um crescimento notório e sistemático em todo o mundo. Em nosso país, e há mais de uma década, uma produção antes ligada quase exclusivamente à ficção vem aumentando suas fileiras com novos tópicos, novas abordagens, novas geografias, novos dilemas.

É nesse contexto que a FIDBA é proposta como a 1ª. Festival Internacional de Cinema dedicado a esse gênero em que filmes com os mesmos fãs - desde que acreditemos que as formas e os feitos do documentário sejam diferentes dos da ficção - podem se encontrar e dialogar entre eles e com o público. Se o documentário é um ponto de encontro para a FIDBA, é na medida em que propõe uma interpelação às memórias pouco conhecidas, perturbadoras do presente e do (nosso) futuro em suspensão. O FIDBA será então uma abordagem não apenas entre públicos, cineastas e pensadores vinculados ao documentário, mas também em relação às possibilidades sempre estimulantes que permitem abrir esse espaço para outras expressões fronteiriças e heterodoxas enquadradas dentro do que chamaríamos de “não ficção” e que nos incentivam a dialogar com expressões contemporâneas que vão além do escopo do filme.

A FIDBA prestará atenção especial aos cineastas para os quais o cinema está ligado a uma forma de pesquisa e conhecimento do mundo que nos rodeia quanto ao retrato de seres humanos cujas condições de vida, em determinados contextos históricos e sociais, permitem que você nos pergunte sobre o nosso. São, portanto, autores que não apenas refletem a realidade, mas também a relação ética e moral que envolve filmar o outro.

O FIDBA pretende se tornar um ponto de apoio para cineastas que buscam ampliar a percepção da realidade e para filmes que representem um avanço no esforço de compreendê-la e antecipá-la. Assim, focará em filmes cuja originalidade estética coloca em risco não apenas uma ideia do documentário, mas também um pensamento sobre o mesmo filme e suas possibilidades. Como esse foco implica questionar o status da frente real da câmera ou do filme em relação à realidade, isso é tão inseparável das mediações que surgem.

Contemporary art, design, craft, food or industry, KRAFTA DOC loves people who change the world with their own hands and their own ideas. Behind the materials there is history and memory, a lively network of partnerships and professions, a commitment, very often lived as a vocation.

In a world of great change and fast information, we wanted to stop to listen to the voices of those who work in the world of art, design and architecture. We are fascinated to know where things come from, and documenting the traditions, we will open infinite possible worlds. Reinvigorating the past can create a debate to develop new sectors for the future or rediscover the forgotten ones, in a more conscious way.

O 13º Cinefest Subterrâneo de Torino acontecerá no final de setembro de 2026 no esplêndido “Cinema Baretti”, no coração de “San Salvario”, um dos bairros mais vibrantes da cidade. Terror Film Festival was founded by filmmakers and screenwriters, and we know how difficult the road to success can be. That’s why we screen short films during the festival, but not the feature films. We only screen the feature film "trailers". The reason being that the integrity of your feature film must be kept intact if you expect to get a distribution deal. This way, your project can still be reviewed, you can still compete in the Claw Awards competition, and you can still have the opportunity to sell your film to fans during the festival. But, you do not suffer any interference with any distribution deal offers! Plus, All films and screenplays are reviewed by our selections committee, and all selected films and screenplays then become nominated for the coveted Claw Awards. Who knows, perhaps YOU will win the next Claw Award!

Terror Film Festival considers both short and feature length films and scripts (completed and Works-In-Progress), and we offer exposure, prestige, recognition, amazing exposure, and the Claw Awards. O projeto MoDive-Se (Mostra da Diversidade Sexual de Campinas) é de valorização de produtos culturais relacionados ao universo LGBT. Assim, a realização da mostra tem por objetivo utilizar uma potente ferramenta, a cultura, na promoção da igualdade.

Sua primeira edição foi realizada em 2014, contemplada em Edital do Programa de Ação Cultural do Estado de São Paulo.

Ransäter Filmfestival is short film festival that will be held for the 4th time 4-6 april 2019. Our main purpose is to bring quality short to the small village of Ransäter. We think that it´s important that everyone has the possibility to enjoy and experience film close to where you live so you don't need to go all the way to Stockholm-, Gothenburg- or Uppsala Filmfestivals.

The first day will be a workshop held by Kaisa El Ramly (won best short 2018) the workshop will be dedicated to aspiring young actors. The second day we will screen the selected shorts that are in competition. The third day we will have a retrospective with a director who made the difficult transition from short and feature. The price ceremony will also be held on the third day and we end the festival with a live music act

A jury of three will decide one winner and the audience will decide one winner. If you win you need to be present to receive the price money. At least two of the filmmakers that are selected will be invited to this years festival.

The objective of the festival is to arrange a meeting of young filmmakers, to introduce the work of local and international film schools, and to award films chosen for the competition by the international jury. The festival is organized by Filmfest Písek, The Independent Film College in Písek and The Film Academy of Miroslav Ondříček in Písek in cooperation with the town of Písek.

Our event is devoted to exploration of different artistic ways for remarkable expression of the author’s view, not dictated by any of political or trend frames, but delivered with high quality and in a respective manner.

We promote cinematic art as the greatest means for dialog between nations and try to deepen community’s understanding of Russian mentality. We encourage directors and producers to rise the issues of all kinds of global or local problems, because we strongly believe in cinematic power in solving them and awakening people’s mind.

We introduce the new world’s independent filmmakers to Russian spectators, show best Russian and world’s new films to distributors and broaden the exchange of experience between Russian, European, Asian and American cinema art schools.

O Batumi International Art-House Film Festival (BIAFF) foi criado em 2006. O fundador e organizador é “Batumi Art-house ARGANI”. O BIAFF é um evento anual realizado na segunda quinzena de setembro em Batumi (Geórgia).

O festival está focado no cinema artístico. As principais seções do festival BIAFF incluem: Competição Internacional (seções de longa-metragem, documentário e curta-metragem), retrospectivas, Meet the Jury, Master Collection, etc. Além das exibições de filmes, o programa do festival inclui vários workshops, master classes e eventos do setor.

Since 2001, the Nevada City Film Festival (NCFF) has brought top independent film, music and comedy, along with attracting thousands of attendees, international filmmakers, and industry guests to the historic Gold Rush era town of Nevada City, California. Nevada City is known for its sophisticated and supportive arts and cultural scene, and makes screening a film here a positive, encouraging and exciting experience.

NCFF is often referred to as the “Sundance of the Sierra” for its emphasis on fiercely independent cinema that showcases innovative, progressive and exciting new voices in film.

NCFF is known for recognizing and supporting new talent including filmmakers such as Jonathan Krisel (Portlandia), Patrick Brice (CREEP, The Overnight), Academy Award-Winning director Lucy Walker (Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom, The Crash Reel), Academy Award-nominated director and animator Daisy Jacobs (The Bigger Picture), director Kat Candler (Hellion), director Rick Alverson (Entertainment), animator and performance artist Miwa Matryek, director David Zellner (Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter), animator Galen Pehrson, and directors Mark and Jay Duplass, among others.

In previous years NCFF has hosted filmmakers such as Mike Mills, Miranda July, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim (Cartoon Networks Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!), and comedians including Tig Notaro, Mari Bamford, Nick Kroll, Natasha Leggero, and Marc Maron. Past NCFF judges have included award-winning producers and directors, plus writers from The Huffington Post, New York Times, McSweeneys, San Francisco Chronicle, Rolling Stone Magazine, and Pop-Up Magazine.

Professional, student, and amateur filmmakers are invited to submit short and feature length films including documentaries, animation, narrative, and comedy.

O Festival de Finos Filmes é uma mostra de curtas-metragens, que, em 2025, chega à décima segunda edição. O evento nasce como uma vitrine da nova geração de cineastas.

Mais do que um festival de filmes, o evento é principalmente um ciclo de debates, que usa as obras como ponto de partida para discussões sobre política, sociologia, identidade, urbanismo - tudo sublinhado, claro, pelo cinema. Todo o dinheiro arrecadado pelo festival é doado para instituições sociais.

A décima nona versão da Muestra Cine + Video Indígena, organizada pelo Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino, abre sua convocatória de inscrições de 30 de novembro a 7 de março de 2025 para filmes de cineastas indígenas e não indígenas cujo tema central são os povos indígenas, especialmente na América Latina.

O comitê curatorial do festival dará ênfase especial à seleção de trabalhos que retratem aspectos culturais e territoriais dessas nações, tais como: processos de salvaguarda de culturas, proteção e defesa dos territórios e do meio ambiente, direitos humanos, tensões identitárias e reflexões políticas.
