Dinamo Sports Club of Mayrit is proud to present its first Film Festival dedicated to equality in sport.
We are the first mixed football team aspiring to be professional in Spain, and our goal is to make gender segregation in professional football disappear: we think it is an outdated and unfair way of categorizing footballers, when what should prevail first and foremost are technical skills and football quality, not gender.
In order to carry this project forward, we have decided to use a very powerful tool, capable of changing society and showing them other realities and possibilities: cinema.
The selected films will be screened in person at the El Nido Social Center in Hortaleza on June 13 and 14. The awards ceremony will take place on June 15, following a soccer tournament for equality in which several Hortaleza teams will participate, at the CES School of Image and Sound.
