Festival fundado pelo Conselho Regional de Kharkiv em 2009.

A missão do Festival é encontrar e apoiar estúdios e clubes para crianças/jovens, que estão envolvidos na criatividade de cinema e televisão, crianças talentosas; desenvolvimento do cinema infantil e televisão juvenil na Ucrânia.

Os objetivos do Festival são:

— o estabelecimento e desenvolvimento de contactos entre estúdios de crianças/jovens, intercâmbio de experiências e desenvolvimento profissional adicional dos participantes;

— comunicação ao público em geral de obras e projetos interessantes e destacados de diferentes países, apresentação das melhores práticas globais no desenvolvimento da indústria cinematográfica e televisão para crianças/jovens;

— a configuração de plataformas criativas e de comunicação para trocar experiências e apresentar novos projetos durante o Festival e entre os tempos do Festival;

— desenvolvimento pessoal criativo, educação de valores morais e ativismo social;

— chamar a atenção de organizações governamentais, não governamentais e entidades comerciais para as questões do desenvolvimento da criatividade criança/juvenil de tela, para os processos de formação de personalidade através do recebimento de informações transmitidas por meios de comunicação eletrônicos de massa, para as necessidades dos clubes criativos de crianças/jovens, o desenvolvimento de crianças talentosas e seu futuro.

O Festival é realizado entre a televisão infantil e juvenil, animação, estúdios de cinema e rádio, clubes, grupos e autores individuais, emissoras de televisão e rádio e entidades de produção criativa, diretores e centros de produtores, que produzem programas e filmes para crianças e jovens.

KloosterKino is the place to be for animated shorts in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Three times a year we show the best animated shorts from all over the world in a friendly setting. The screenings take place in a historic cloister, which dates back to 1909, and are not subject to admission.

KloosterKino shows work by young filmmakers, but also pays attention to classic animated film. Throughout the year we also work with other festivals and cultural organizations to arrange screenings of animated shorts.

But why animated shorts? Well, first of all, because we love them! But also because too few animated shorts are shown theatrically in the Netherlands. KloosterKino wants to show animation in all its diversity: from stop-motion to CGI, from narrative to abstract, homegrown and from far away. In doing so, we hope to aid in the diffusion of the artistic animated short.

We intend to be an alternative to the larger animation festivals by offering screenings which are both accessible and challenging. We stand for high quality animated film in welcoming surroundings. Our target audience is not just the animation aficionado, but also those who normally don’t watch animation, but are open to a surprising and stimulating program of films.

KloosterKino is a nonprofit foundation, that depends on volunteers and gifts.

BuSho (Budapest Short) was established in the autumn of 2004 by a group of young Hungarian filmmakers and the first event successfully ran its course the following year. The festival became an international breakthrough in an exceptionally short period of time. We had plenty of festival screenings, selections of film academies, conferences, exhibitions, film-, and all-art workshops in the program. Our main target group is the generation of developing young filmmakers but we are very delighted at every entry. This film celebration takes place in Budapest in the late summer of 2019.

The DC Shorts Film Festival showcases one of the largest collection of short films in the USA. In 2015, we screened 125 films from 26 countries in 17 unique showcases over 11 days to audiences of more than 9,000 people.

The festival has been named as the “Coolest Short Film Festival” by MovieMaker Magazine, and is a three-time winner of the Washington City Paper’s “Coolest Short Film Festival” contest/award. The 11-day event (September 8-18, 2016) includes film screenings, Q&As, filmmaker workshops and parties in locations throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and online through the secure DC Shorts Online Film Festival.



As we have done since 2003, after programming is announced, ALL ENTRANTS RECEIVE A REPORT WITH THE REVIEW COMMITTEE'S COMMENTS. CINEFIESTA, our internationally recognized Festival, is a project that impacts culture and the economy. Over the years and with the support of multiple public and private entities, CINEFIESTA became one of the most important Short Film Festivals in America, and it would not be an exaggeration to say that it is one of worldwide relevance.

Leiden International Short Film Experience (LISFE) is an annual film festival held in the beautiful city of Leiden in The Netherlands. LISFE is dedicated to Short Films from all genres and from anywhere in the world. Over the years we have built the reputation of successfully showcasing though-provoking films through a diverse and selective program.

This year the festival will take place from the 7th until the 10th of May in Kijkhuis (Leiden).

O Festival Internacional de Cinema e Diversidade Sexual CINHOMO aceita filmes com temas LGBTIQ de todas as nacionalidades, que serão elegíveis nas várias seções do festival: longas-metragens de ficção, curtas-metragens de ficção, longas-metragens documentais e curtas-metragens documentais.

As obras não devem ter sido exibidas em cinemas comerciais, transmitidas pela TV ou estar disponíveis ao público na Internet ou em qualquer outra plataforma em território espanhol antes da celebração do festival e devem ser protegidas por direitos autorais após 01/01/2023. Os longas-metragens devem ser inéditos na Comunidade de Castela e Leão; no caso de curtas-metragens, não serão exclusivos, mas serão valorizados positivamente. Entries requirements:
-> All films must have been made in or after 2012 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken); A creation date does not apply in case of the screen writings from being stopped for submissions, but the submitted must be in English or have a copy translated in English;
-> We accept shorts, documentaries, animations, experimental, music videos, web and new media, commercials (all specified previously under 45 minutes); feature films and feature documentaries (any length, 45 + minutes);
->A description between 50 and 150 words;
->Trailer (not required for movies under 7 minutes; optional) and the film must be submitted as an on-line screener (Vimeo preferred) which may be embedded on the website for visitors to see your creation; you can further opt for modifications in your entry;

In Troyes, in the heart of the Champagne, Court en Scène highlights the best of the international live-action short films.

CRONOGRAF Festival is at the moment the only international documentary film festival in Moldova and it is organized in Chisinau starting 2001. This event came into existence at the initiative of a young group of Moldavian filmmakers that were organized within OWH Studio. Their aim was to animate the cultural life in the Republic of Moldova and to bring closer to the local public the latest documentaries from all over the world.

IDFF CRONOGRAF has reached the 12th edition. The festival has a great popularity and an international reputation, especially in the South-East Europe, being among the most important film events. Every year the number of films in the contest increases, as a proof that the festival has aroused the interest of documentarists around the world. CRONOGRAF is an opportunity for the local filmmakers to stand out of the crowd as well as a gateway to the world news in this genre.

IDFF RONOGRAF is a cultural and complex event that includes film screenings within the competition, press conferences with the participation of film personalities, round tables on different topics related to cinematographical life, thematic screenings out of competition, workshops for young filmmakers and film premieres.

At CRONOGRAF, documentary filmmakers around the world have the opportunity to meet and promote their works in a new space, a space for cultural interferences, a place where the East (especially the former Soviet area) meets the West and other globe meridians.

CRONOGRAF is beloved by filmmakers most of all for its friendly, informal and hospitable atmosphere, that enables people to meet and approach in the prospect of collaboration or common projects. The cinema-goers have the chance to enjoy a consistent and quality film program, discovering new film formulas and sensational life stories.

The Festival has five sections.

Main Section
The Main Section is opened to creative documentaries from all over the world with no restriction on theme. No corporate, industrial or commercial films are accepted.

cadRO Section
CadRO Section was launched in 2007 and has become a traditional element within IDFF CRONOGRAF. Romanian authors as well as foreign authors are invited to participate with documentaries about Romanians and Romanian communities around the world. CadRO Section, unique in its specific on the world film festivals list, offers an overview of the life and destiny of people that call themselves Romanians, wherever they are.

Local Productions Section
This section is opened for works produced by local independent video production studios, local TV channels and productions of independent filmmakers.

Eyes on Moldova Section
Is the space for documentaries about republic of Moldova realized by foreign filmmakers.

A LIKE for Documentary Section
Is dedicated to teenagers and includes short documentaries for young people

PEOPLE'S FILM FESTIVAL is a competition and the highest award from the community
rural to filmmakers from around the world. Films presented an
anti-mainstream films choice of rural communities that are not familiar and rarely watch movies.
The film festival aims to bring more information to the rural communities of knowledge,
thought, culture and social of various countries in the world through the medium of film.
The film festival takes place on 09 July - 14 July 2016 in the village Kaliprau,
a village in Central Java - Indonesia which is producing region of jasmine
the largest in Indonesia, the majority of people work as farmers jasmine.
We believe that the best film is a film that is able to convey the message and impression for
audience. The highest award of this film festival is "MELATI AWARDS (Jasmine Awards)".
This award is given to the best film cross-genre chosen by voting by
community and the head of customs.

Since its foundation, with Michelangelo Antonioni as its godfather, the Capalbio Film Festival has been a showcase for the next generation of cinematic talent from around the world. During its 22nd edition, Capalbio hosted the first Sundance Institute Screenwriters Workshop as an European exclusive.

Year 4 is on the way! The film industry of Philadelphia has come together to make this city an active spot for HORROR shorts from around the world to be screened and celebrated. Philadelphia has one HUGE thirst for horror flicks and Average Superstar Films has stepped up and lead the way for this massive event. This event truly gives both local and international filmmakers their due. It is held at the world famous Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia. With a $60,000 sound system, and a FULL screen, the theater seats up to 600 movie-goers. This years event will run 10 hours, with a big networking party going on in the lobby area. News outlets and press are active at this event. Celebrities and horror movie Icons from all walks of life have shown up at this event. Last year we members of The Howard Stern Show on hand. Along with Lloyd Kaufman and The Angry Video Game Nerd. We are only accepting online screeners. There are a variety of ways to submit your screener to us (YouTube, Vimeo (FAVORED) , or through one of the online submission services.). This will SAVE YOU MONEY! These events are 21 and up.

O festival exibe longas-metragens e curtas-metragens narrativos e documentários, videoclipes, bem como filmes experimentais e de animação, em seções competitivas e não competitivas. Este evento é complementado com repertório e exibições especiais. O 22º Festival Internacional de Cinema Cine Las Americas (CLAIFF22) aconteceu de 1º a 5 de maio de 2019 em Austin, Texas. Além de receber mais de 3.000 espectadores para filmes e eventos especiais, o CLAIFF22 exibiu 114 títulos; essas seleções representaram a participação de 25 países na produção ou coprodução dos projetos, incluindo Argentina, Austrália, Bolívia, Brasil, Canadá, Chile, Colômbia, Costa Rica, Cuba, República Dominicana, Equador, França, Alemanha, Jordânia, México, Holanda, Perú, Portugal, Catar, Espanha, República Árabe Síria, Reino Unido, Uruguai, EUA e Venezuela.

O Festival de Cinema de Lucca é um evento anual que celebra e promove a cultura cinematográfica. Por meio de exibições, exposições, conferências e apresentações, o Festival conseguiu cativar um público cada vez maior com um programa que varia de filmes experimentais a filmes convencionais. Ao longo dos anos, o Festival de Cinema de Lucca conquistou um nicho para si mesmo, destacando-se de muitos outros festivais graças à sua programação ousada, mas cuidadosamente estudada. Ao longo dos anos, grandes nomes de cineastas internacionais e celebridades conhecidas compareceram ao Festival de Cinema de Lucca como convidados; David Lynch, Oliver Stone, Jeremy Irons, Willem Dafoe, George Romero, Terry Gilliam, William Friedkin, Alfonso Cuarón, John Boorman, Rutger Hauer, Joe Dante, Aleksandr Sokurov, Susan Sarandon, Gabriela Ele Salvatores, Ethan Hawke, Paul Schrader e Peter Greenaway, só para citar alguns. A edição de 2026 do Festival de Cinema de Lucca será realizada de 26 de setembro a 4 de outubro.

O Festival de Cinema de Lucca tem 3 competições: a Competição Internacional de Longa-Metragem, a Competição Internacional de Curtas-Metragens e a Competição de Curtas-Metragens “Lucca Film Festival for Future”.

O 2026 será a 22ª edição da Competição Internacional de Longa-Metragem do Festival de Cinema de Lucca. Nas edições anteriores, personalidades importantes do cinema como Cristi Puiu, Rutger Hauer, Philip Groening, Claudio Giovannesi, Daniele Ciprì, Massimo Gaudioso, Massimo Cantini Parrini e Lina Nerli Taviani fizeram parte do júri internacional.
Os filmes exibidos durante esta competição são estreias italianas e a última edição foi vencida por “A gaiola está procurando um pássaro”, de Malika Musaeva.
Há quatro prêmios: prêmio de melhor longa-metragem (3000€), concedido por um júri de convidados renomados do mundo cinematográfico e acadêmico; e Melhor longa-metragem — prêmio do júri universitário (concedido por um júri universitário), Melhor longa-metragem — Júri popular e o Prêmio Marcello Petrozziello.
Para os interessados nesta competição, o último dia para inscrições é 15 de julho de 2026, até a meia-noite.
Não há limitações no gênero ou no tópico dos filmes. Os únicos requisitos são os seguintes: os filmes devem ter pelo menos 60 minutos de duração e não devem ter sido exibidos antes de 1º de janeiro de 2026. Além disso, devem ser estreias italianas, portanto, não podem ter sido apresentadas em nenhum outro festival italiano, exibidas em qualquer plataforma aberta on-line ou distribuídas de qualquer outra forma na Itália.

Pelo 20º ano consecutivo, será realizada a histórica competição de curtas-metragens, cujo vencedor receberá um prêmio de 1000€. Todos os anos, o comitê de seleção desta competição recebe mais de 500 filmes para avaliar. Entre os diretores que participaram de edições anteriores, há celebridades como Adan Jodorowsky, filho do famoso cineasta chileno.
Os filmes não têm limitações de gênero e tópico. O único requisito é que eles não durem mais do que 29 minutos. Para a competição de curtas-metragens, o último dia para inscrições é 15 de julho de 2026, até meia-noite.

Segunda edição da nova competição de curtas-metragens: “Lucca Film Festival for Future”, que nasceu graças à colaboração com o Grupo Sofidel, 2º produtor na Europa e 7º no mundo em capacidade de produção no setor de papel para uso higiênico e doméstico (conhecido em particular pela marca Regina), que fez da sustentabilidade uma alavanca estratégica de desenvolvimento e crescimento responsável para reduzir seu impacto no capital natural e favorecer a transição para uma economia de baixo impacto de carbono.

A lista dos filmes selecionados será publicada no site do festival em 10 de setembro de 2026. Durante o festival, os filmes serão exibidos nos cinemas participantes do evento e sob demanda on-line.

DokuFest, International Documentary and Short Film Festival, is the largest film festival in Kosovo. Recognized as one of the top film and music event in SouthEast Europe, festival fills the cinemas and improvised screening venues around historic city center of Prizren with a selection of more than 200 hand picked films from around the world, whileat the same time bringing top international and local music acts to perform at DokuNights music festival. Documentary photo exhibitions, debates, master classes and lively atmosphere in the city all add to the charm of the festival.

O FOGO!! A Mostra é o primeiro festival de cinema LGBT na Espanha: criado em 1995 pelo Casal Lambda, em Barcelona, aborda a diversidade afetiva em seu sentido mais amplo por meio de uma seleção cuidadosa de longas-metragens, documentários e curtas-metragens. Uma seleção de cinema artístico e uma abordagem educacional são suas principais características.

Durante duas semanas no início de junho - principalmente no Instituto Francês, mas também em outros locais internos ou ao ar livre da cidade -, um grande público é convidado a apreciar esse marco cultural de Barcelona, com histórias e depoimentos de pessoas livres, criadores que quebram barreiras e lutadores pelos direitos humanos, todos os quais ajudam com amor a construir um mundo mais justo e livre.

O nome do festival é uma homenagem à revista nova-iorquina de mesmo nome do final dos anos 20, FIRE!! , liderado pelo escritor negro homossexual Richard Bruce Nugent, retratado em um dos filmes mais icônicos do festival, Brother to Brother, que exibimos há alguns anos.
