Desde 2003 el Festival Internacional SIGNES DE NUIT está activo en París, Berlín, Saarbrücken y con proyecciones especiales en todo el mundo. El festival en París en realidad presenta alrededor de 300 películas provenientes de alrededor de 50 países proyectandose en diferentes lugares en París. En Berlín, el festival se llevará a cabo en el legendario cine Babilonia.

El Festival Internacional de SIGNES DE NUIT con sede en París se compone de películas que reflejan los nuevos puntos de vista, las imágenes originales y aproximación crítica a los puntos cruciales de la existencia humana moderna. Es un lugar para el cine que se expande en sus propios límites, es sorprendente, diferente, potencialmente libre de la presión de la tradición, dispuesto a entregarse a la experimentación impredecible.

Event runs for 4 hours, with a big networking party going on in the lobby area. News outlets and press are active at this event. Celebrities from all walks of life have shown up at this event. We are only accepting online screeners. There are a variety of ways to submit your screener to us (YouTube, Vimeo, or through one of the online submission services). This will SAVE YOU MONEY!

The 2019 Great Lakes International Film Festival shall accept Music Videos from around the world of cross-continent and cross-genre productions. We shall accept Music Videos of all genres from Pop, Punk, Rock, Alt-Country, Country-Western, Folk, Reggae, Hip-Hop to Electronica, Jazz, Blues, Zydeco, Industrial, Metal, Hardcore, Gothic, Karaoke, Avant-Garde, World Music, and Experimental, and all other genres that may not be listed here.

The 2019 Great Lakes International Film Festival will accept all forms of Religious, Christian, and Spiritual films including African, African-American, GLBT, Black, Hispanic, Islamic, Latino, Native/Aboriginal and student films from the United States and around the world.

In addition to awards presented to Filmmakers for Best of Genre, our Festival will present an Audience Choice Award to the Filmmaker whose film is the most popular with our attendees, and that receives the most attendee votes.

Showcasing the best films of the 2019 season, the Great Lakes International Film Festival will be held LIVE in the great city of Erie, Pennsylvania starting on September 19th, 2019, with our virtual festival taking place September 19th thru September 28th, 2019.

Though the GLIFF success does not come from an excess of big names celebrities crowding its red carpet, but instead from a formidable catalogue of exceptionally high caliber Independent Films and career launches, still, over the years we have had many films that have screened on the Sundance Channel, IFC, PBS and HBO along with countless filmmakers who have received distribution deals after screening in our festival.

Since our inception, the Great Lakes International Film Festival has showcased more than 2,000 films, and has played host to countless celebrities such as actor, writer, producer Bill Hinzman of Flesheaters and Night of the Living Dead; director Lloyd Kaufman of the Toxic Avenger films, Pot Zombies, and President of Troma Films; actor Gunnar Hansen of Texas Chainsaw Massacre; actor and director Mark Borchardt of American Movie and Coven; Erick Rodgers (Writer of NYPD Blue); best-selling mystery author Jamian Snow (Shrouded Insanity); John Hancock (“Hill Street Blues”, “The Twilight Zone”, & California Dreaming); actress and “Scream Queen” Debbie Rochon (Blood Relic, Vampyre Tales, & Lord of the Undead); Bobby Logan (Meatballs 4 & Repossessed), along with so many more.

As one of the premier film festivals worldwide, the Great Lakes International Film Festival held its inaugural festival in the fall of 2002, welcoming internationally acclaimed celebrities like Dirk Benedict, best known for his work on Battlestar Galactica and A-Team, along with Hollywood script guru Harri James who worked as script supervisor for blockbuster films and TV Shows as ER, Alias, Tremors II: Aftershocks, and Tremors 4: The Legend Begins, to name only a few.

That same year, B.J. and the Bear & Up in Smoke producer, Otto Felix visited the festival along with the renowned Keith Carradine being presented with a lifetime achievement award for his dedication and contributions to indie film.

Since that time, the Great Lakes International Film Festival has had many films go on to greatness like “The Derby Stallion” that was released through Echo Bridge Home Entertainment, a subsidiary of Disney, and Director Joel Miller’s film “The Still Life” that received distribution through Warner Home Video after having been screened at the festival.

In 2004, the Great Lakes International Film Festival had the proud pleasure to present the North East United States Premiere of “SAW”, Lions Gate Films’ gripping psychological thriller starring Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Monica Potter, and Leigh Whannel.

The legendary Terry Moore was our special guest of honor and was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her amazing accomplishments in film over the past 60 years, while international recording superstar Dizzy Reed of Guns ‘N Roses performed before a capacity crowd at our Film Festival.

From the feature narrative genre to documentary to animation; experimental, horror and Spiritual films, the Great Lakes International Film Festival celebrates the film arts in dynamic transition. NOCTURNA MADRID, Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico es el Festival más importante en su género que se celebra en la ciudad de Madrid.

El Puerto Rico Horror Film Fest (PRHFF) ahora es parte de LUSCA, el Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico del Caribe y es producido por Puerto Rico Film Academy Inc.

El PRHFF, evento anual que se lleva a cabo en diferentes localidades en Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, tiene una duración de ocho (8) días y es reconocido por La Alianza Latinoamericana de Festivales de Cine Fantástico, el principal circuito latinoamericano de festivales de horror.

Hermoso festival que tiene lugar en Modica y Gela, ITALIA. Modica es el lugar de nacimiento de Salvatore Quasimodo y el festival está dedicado a él, el Premio Nobel de poesía. El festival ha llegado a su 16ª edición y acoge a poetas, camarógrafos, directores, escritores y cualquier artista que aborde el tema del Festival: el cine y la poesía. La sección de cine está destinada a cortometrajes de videopoesía, cortometrajes de ficción, videoclips y largometrajes.

Guimarães Cinema Som is an international film festival that regards sound as a structural element of a film, taking in consideration its elements beyond musical soundtrack. The festival focuses on films that offer an authentic perspective on sound. At the same time, the festival also seeks to provide the audience with a larger knowledge of the sound element through the history of cinema, from the silent era to contemporary films, considering its different dimensions. There are two main competitions — films and film soundtracks — followed by non-competitive screenings, including silent films. The selection criterion is based on the quality of the soundtrack, considering the use of music (or its absence), sound/image dialectics and the general importance of sound concept within the singular universe of each film. The soundtrack competition is a challenging opportunity for creators to produce an original soundtrack for one of three silent films (selected by the festival), which can be musical/instrumental or non-musical/instrumental — with only voice and bruitage elements.

Guimarães Cinema Som offers a unique experience through a new concept of film festival.

Student Cuts film festival is aimed at young authors in the early stages of their film careers. Their independence lets them work on unconventional, creative, energetic and subtle ideas. Such films are an important insight into the local environments and everyday themes seen from a different perspective. By joining Student Cuts network the authors not only gain access to the big screen, but a network of audiences all over Europe, contacts with experts and simply gain exposure. In the end, films are made to be watched.

Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Montecatini, promosso dalla Federazione Italiana Cineclub (Fedic), con la demanda 68 edizioni è uno dei festival di cortometraggi più longevi in Europa.

All'inizio, era principalmente destinato alle opere nazionali, ma a partire dagli anni '90, quando il Concorso Nazionale spostato in un'altra piccola città della Toscana, San Giovanni Valdarno, Montecatini si è affermata come vetrina di riferimento a livello internazionale, desiderosa di presentare un enorme panorama di nuove produzioni incentrate su diversi generi e tendenze.

L'obiettivo principale del Montecatini Festival Internazionale del Cortometraggio è quello di dare una visione completa del corto nel panorama cinematografico internazionale, nella sua estensione più ampia, puntando sempre alla qualità dei film e non all'aspetto glamour offrendo una bellissima location in Toscana dove discutere e magari trovare collegamenti per lavori futuri.

Ultimo ma ma non meno importante: registi come Franco Piavoli e Nanni Moretti sono da segnalare tra i registi emergenti nei primi 60ties a Montecatini International Short Film Festival.

El Festival Internacional de Cine de Addis (AIFF) es un festival de cine anual creado por Initiative Africa en 2007 y que se celebra en Addis Abeba, Etiopía. El festival es el mayor festival de cine documental independiente de África y se creó como una iniciativa única que buscaba utilizar el poder de los documentales para apoyar formas innovadoras de crear conciencia sobre cuestiones sociales.

Los concursantes están convocados para participar en la parte competitiva del festival de cine de animación Neum 2024. La fecha límite es hasta el 1 de abril de 2024. El Festival de Cine de Animación de Neum tendrá lugar del 30 de agosto al 3 de septiembre de 2024 en Neum

Podrán participar películas de animación (15 minutos de duración). El autor puede reportar 3 películas. Las películas que propaganden el racismo y la pornografía no entrarán en el programa de competencia. Todas las inscripciones deberán cumplimentarse a continuación: 1. Archivo HD de la película 2. El Festival de Cine y Concurso de Guiones Zed Fest se fundó para fomentar y apoyar a los cineastas independientes de bajo y gran presupuesto que trabajan en los géneros de terror, suspenso, ciencia ficción, drama, acción, aventura y arte house.

El premio Independent Spirit del Zed Fest Film Festival se otorga cada año a un cineasta que persiga su visión cinematográfica desde el concepto hasta la película.


Este premio se ha inspirado en los pioneros del cine independiente Robot Monster (1953), el director Phil Tucker, Jim Jarmusch, John Waters, Elaine May, John Cassavetes y Penelope Spheeris, Wes Anderson.



Estos cineastas siguieron su pasión por el cine. Abrazaron el amor por el cine como una forma de arte. Utilizaron su creatividad e ingenio en sus películas y no dejaron que su presupuesto se interpusiera en sus proyectos cinematográficos. Esto nos inspira mucho y esperamos que también lo sea para los cineastas emergentes de hoy en día.

The Arusha African Film Festival (AAFF) is an international platform for the exhibition and celebration of films by filmmakers from around the world whose works are Africa-oriented.

AAFF is significantly a global traveling film festival, bent on promoting the understanding of Africa through film in all the regions of the world.

AAFF is also a forum for film education, production, distribution, marketing and networking.

The festival brings from around the world, filmmakers, actors, producers, commissioning editors, distributors, scholars, poets, performing artists, cinema enthusiasts, students, and the public together for the common purpose of understanding Africa through film.

AAFF is an eclectic, Africa-worldly cinematic niche that serves as a creative universe for the awakening of the African chi, memory, counter-memory, remembrance, and the symbiotic representations of our collective unconscious. These sensibilities are richly explored in the films we screen.

Ahora en su 24º año, el Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de 24 fps se ha ganado la reputación de presentar algunos de los programas de exposiciones más singulares y desafiantes del circuito de festivales.

La misión de 24fps es celebrar y alentar a los estudiantes y a los cineastas independientes. Los programas de proyección pública del festival están diseñados para destacar tanto al creador como al propio trabajo.
