The Festival’s aim is to encourage, through cinematographic art and expression, a reflection on relevant issues for women related to their specific cultural, political and social context. The Festival is a place for intercultural dialogue and dialectical comparison between different cinematographies as well as an opportunity to promote distribution of films that are unlikely to have access to commercial venues.

El Festival de Cortometrajes y Óperas Primas de Barquisimeto, se crea hace once años con la idea de ofrecer un espacio anual donde los talentos venezolanos radicados en el país y en el extranjero puedan exhibir sus trabajos y compartir entre gente afín sus deseos de mejorar y ampliar el mapa de lo audiovisual en Venezuela.

El Festival Internacional de Cine Deportivo convoca a realizadores audiovisuales de cualquier parte del mundo a participar con sus cortometrajes y largometrajes, de ficción, documentales, experimentales, animación u otros, en el 2do. Festival Internacional de Cine Deportivo que se realizará del 17 al 23 de marzo de 2016 en Buenos Aires, República Argentina.

Los trabajos seleccionados formarán parte de la Competencia de Largometrajes, Cortometrajes y proyecciones especiales.

La inscripción quedará abierta hasta el domingo 31 de enero de 2016, inclusive.

Se convoca a todos los realizadores chilenos y latinoamericanos a participar del 4to Festival Latinoamericano de Cine de los Cerros de Valparaíso 2017-18, festival de carácter territorial con alcances de industria, organizado por la Corporación Cinematográfica Chilena sede Valparaíso, que se desarrollará en Salas del Plan, en Cerros y avenidas del Puerto de Valparaíso; Se concentran las actividades en las Faldas y cimas de Los Cerros Playa Ancha, La Loma , Las Cañas, La Cruz y Cerro Jimenez como forma de atenuar el acceso a la cultura en los cerros de nuestro Puerto, cuenta con exhibiciones de calidad, en las cuales, el público asistente, elegirá mediante calificación las películas ganadoras en competencia. Así se elegirá un ganador como mejor Largometraje Latinoamericano 2018 y mejores Cortometrajes Latinoamericanos 2018 ambas categorías Ficción /Documental /Animación.

El Festival Internacional de Cine Corto de Cali, con la apertura de su convocatoria, busca servir de espacio para la exhibición de cortometrajes profesionales y universitarios de la ciudad de Cali y el mundo para ser un lugar de encuentro entre los nuevos realizadores y los profesionales del cortometraje.

El XVII Festival Internacional de Cine Corto de Cali tendrá lugar del 23 al 26 de septiembre de 2025, en la ciudad de Santiago de Cali, Colombia.

La convocatoria para las secciones competitivas del festival, estarán abiertas desde el 20 de marzo del 2025 y cerraremos el plazo de inscripción a la medianoche del 31 de mayo del 2025, hora local colombiana (UTC-5).

Las películas enviadas a las secciones: Selección Oficial Nacional, Selección Oficial Nacional Universitaria, Selección Oficial Internacional y Selección Oficial Internacional Universitaria, deben haber sido terminadas después del 15 de enero del 2024.

Los resultados de la convocatoria para las secciones competitivas del festival, se darán a conocer en la página web del festival www.cortoscali.com el 31 de julio del 2025.

ECOZINE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL-El Festival Internacional de Cine Socioambiental, organizado por La Asociación Cultural Ecozine nació en el año 2008 como un medio de concienciación social y promoción cultural, para reivindicar el cine como herramienta para el cambio.

IMAGINARIA es el primer y único festival internacional de cine de animación de la región de Apulia.

En su historia, Imaginaria ha crecido enormemente, ganándose una importante posición artística y social en el sector de festivales internacionales.

Festival de «personas y lugares», Imaginaria logra crear un ambiente familiar entre el público y los profesionales que vienen en los cines al aire libre de Conversano. Imaginaria, que se caracteriza por la importancia de los «números» y la excelente calidad de miles de obras de prestigio internacional, es un proyecto de promoción, difusión, formación cinematográfica, cuyo objetivo es promover a los autores independientes de películas de animación. Imaginaria pretende desencadenar, desde una perspectiva a largo plazo, todas las sinergias posibles en la comunidad contribuyendo a crear oportunidades socioeconómicas en la zona y al mismo tiempo a promover la cultura de la animación. El festival, por tanto, es un proyecto que pretende difundir el uso y el conocimiento de las películas de animación no sólo durante el evento, que se celebra cada año en Conversano, sino también en lugares y épocas del año a través de diferentes redes, compuestas por otros festivales y exposiciones (nacionales e internacionales) a los que Imaginaria participa o que es el promotor.

The Walthamstow International Film Festival is a launch platform for professional film-makers, experienced amateurs and first film-makers.

La Muestra de Cine Internacional de Palencia está organizada por la Asociación Amigos del Cine y la Universidad Popular de Palencia.

Tiene 35 años de trayectoria, con una filosofía en la que el cine es una herramienta de cohesión y desarrollo social y cultural.

Nuestro festival es colaborador con la Academia de Cine Española, siendo calificador de los premios GOYA en la sección cortometraje. Además, el cortometraje galardonado con el primer premio del jurado en la MCIP (el Premio Milagros Alcalde) accederá directamente a la Short List finalista de los Premios FUGAZ, integrando la terna de los trabajos que serán luego evaluados para su nominación por la comisión que falla cada año estos reconocimientos.

The 6-th annual international independent short film festival “Cinema Perpetuum Mobile” is a non-profit cultural event. The Organizing committee was formed by the members of kinaklub.org community, which gathers enthusiasts and film-fans devoted to the values of continual and free cinema art.

Festival’s purposes:
To promote independent film-making. Short film is a low-budget, and thus, affordable democratic method of art expression. This allows to cover any actual and burning issue while staying laconic.

To support cultural diversity in cinema and discover new forms and methods in film art.
To assist in establishing and strengthening communication between film-makers and film societies in Belarus and around the world.
As reflected in its name, the idea of the festival is to touch upon eternal, perpetual subjects. The measure of how perpetual the subject is, is determined by it’s unquestionable importance and humanistic value. But also, with issues of this kind, a fresh and reasonable view is needed. That is why, both traditional and innovative approaches in interpretation of perpetual subjects are appreciated, as well as the whole spectrum of different cinematic forms — from silent to experimental.

Any interested person, who agrees with principles and ideas presented in the regulations, can become a participant of the festival, without regard to place of residence, age, color, height, weight, marital status and sexual orientation. The requirement for becoming a participant is a filled-in participant’s entry form and a completed film.
Festival screenings and selection of winners will take place simultaneously in Minsk, other locations in Belarus and on our planet as a whole, in April 2015, gathering more and more people who enjoy watching good films and are not indifferent to the problems of mankind.

The working languages of the festival are English, Belarusian, and Russian.
Participation in the festival is free of any charges.

The NYC Improv Video Festival (NYCIVF) will be held May 7, 2016, in Midtown, New York City, NY, USA as part of a series of festivals taking place from April 27 to May 8, 2016.

Improv is the art of creating something from nothing - it is the act of walking on stage with only your wits and the clothes on your back, and somehow pulling a show out of thin air. But the sparsity of the improv stage belies just how much the performers are actually working with - a positive, can-do attitude, an openness to collaboration and connecting with the audience, the willingness to try anything for a laugh, and of course, a deep, abiding commitment to the philosophy of "Yes, and." With such an abundance of skills and support at one's disposal, who needs a script?

Do you have a great video of your brilliant Improv Group? Well we want to see! The NYC Improv Video Festival will be part of a series of festivals taking place from April 27 to May 8, 2016. We will also offer the opportunity for the Improv Groups whose videos are accepted to the festival to perform live. Fun is guaranteed for all!

We vastly prefer online submissions. If you are submitting with DVD it MUST be formatted as NTSC Region 0 or 1. If your film is selected we will provide full technical specifications but an .mov, mp4 or .mpg works great. All films will be played from a hard drive. Please note, if accepted, we MUST receive the exhibition media AT LEAST SIX (6) WEEKS before the festival.

If your submission is selected, you will be notified by e-mail in the end of March. Accepted filmmakers will be given one free admission pass to the festival. (We cannot help with any transportation, food or lodging costs.) If you are coming to the festival and want to be a part of a panel during the festivities we need to know by April 15, 2016 so we can make arrangements regarding the number and size of panels, etc.

The NYC Animation/Anime Short Fest (NYCAASF) will be held Marc 25, 2018, in Midtown, New York City, NY, USA.

Animation is a fantastic, creative medium capable of bringing a storyteller’s inner visual world to life and sharing it with audiences everywhere. As the capabilities of computer-generated imagery continue to increase, there are fewer and fewer limitations as to what can be created on the screen.

Anime means "animation" in Japanese. However, in English the word Anime is often used to describe the very distinct style of Japanese animation. In some ways, Anime can be used to explore the everyday lives and fears of young people more effectively than Western Animation.

Digital Griffix film awards changed a bit over the years and is now an IMDB listed international online awards competition taking place each three months.

Each three months our jury determines the best films in each category. Note that we do NOT screen films online or onsite. The films are screened privately by the jury. Our goal is to help filmmakers take the next step in their career. Our jury is composed of award winning filmmakers who perfectly understand the hard work put in independent filmmaking !

ShortPole London International Film Festival is an online based film festival, headquartered in the heart of the United Kingdom.

The festival runs in 4 quarters, selections being made every 3 months.

The United Latino Film Festival exists to showcase the Hispanic/Latino independent filmmaker. Our mission is to encourage filmmakers through a competitive showcase of independent features, documentaries, shorts, and music videos. Entries requirements:
-> All films must have been made in or after 2012 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken); A creation date does not apply in case of the screen writings from being stopped for submissions, but the submitted must be in English or have a copy translated in English;
-> We accept shorts, documentaries, animations, experimental, music videos, web and new media, commercials (all specified previously under 45 minutes); feature films and feature documentaries (any length, 45 + minutes);
->A description between 50 and 150 words;
