The ficmonterrey ist ständig auf der Suche nach menschlichen Erzählungen, die sich bei ihrer Auswahl auf Ansichten stützen, die aus einer Welt hervorgehen, die sich in ständiger Bewegung und Transformation, in Vernetzung und Innovation befindet.

Das Festival sucht Filme, die das Potenzial haben, sich im kollektiven Gedächtnis des Publikums zu verankern, die Fähigkeit besitzen, sich zu bewegen und einen Dialog mit ihm zu führen.

Eines der Hauptinteressen des Organisationsteams von ficmonterrey ist es, neue Perspektiven zu fördern, und zwar nicht aufgrund ihres Alters, sondern weil sie jung sind, weil sie frisch sind, kritisch bleiben, sich mit Innovation verwirklichen und verschiedene Risiken eingehen.

Das allgemeine Ziel von ficmonterrey ist es, in Nuevo León ein persönliches und ein virtuelles Publikum in ganz Mexiko zusammenzubringen, bevor eine Auswahl an zeitgenössischem mexikanischem und internationalem Kino präsentiert wird, die von Filmemachern mit unterschiedlichen, frischen, riskanten, kritischen und innovativen Visionen geschaffen wurden. Ebenso sind wir daran interessiert, einen Schulungsraum zur Verfügung zu stellen, der die Begegnung zwischen Filmemachern, Filmen und dem Publikum fördert, sowie Aktivitäten zur Förderung der Filmproduktion, insbesondere von Frauen und regionalen Filmen.

INSTIDOC – Ciclo do Documentário Institucional welcomes films with no running time limit, which have been produced after January 2012.

The film’s genre must be documentary and have an institutional nature.

Films can document any topic and can be spoken in any language. Films that are not Portuguese spoken must be subtitled in Portuguese or in English.

National or International films are accepted.

The institutions, production companies and/or directors can submit more than one film.

The International Silent Film Festival wants to celebrate the possibilities of cinema as an art of entertainment, education and emancipation of the public, reclaiming the narratives of glances, dramatic gestures, musical accompaniment and even the importance of intertitles for contemporary filmmakers to be inspired.

Das MACAU INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL („FESTIVAL“) ist ein jährliches weltweites audiovisuelles Festival, das Kurzfilm- und Musikvideoproduktionen aus dem Ausland und Macau dazu motivieren soll, an diesem FESTIVAL teilzunehmen.

Das Festival war früher als „Sound & Image Challenge“ bekannt und wurde erstmals 2010 ins Leben gerufen und konzentrierte sich ausschließlich auf einen audiovisuellen Wettbewerb für lokale Talente. Diese Initiative wurde gemeinsam mit Fachleuten aus den Bereichen Film, Musik, Ton und Bild gegründet und verfolgt zwei Prioritäten: Förderung der Kreativwirtschaft im audiovisuellen Sektor und Förderung lokaler Talente bei der Produktion von Ton- und Bewegtbilddesign. Im Laufe der Jahre expandierte es auf 5 Kontinente, wuchs und erlangte Anerkennung und wurde schließlich 2015 zu einem Kurzfilmfestival.

Das Festival findet vom 6. bis 12. Dezember 2026 statt. Während der Festivalwoche wird an verschiedenen Orten in Macau eine Reihe von kulturellen Programmen angeboten, darunter öffentliche Vorführungen der offiziellen Auswahl von „SHORTS & VOLUME“, Meisterkurse für Filmproduktion und -entwicklung, Kuratorschaft und Organisation des Internationalen Filmfestivals, Publikumsabstimmungen für den „Publikumspreis“ sowie eine Gala-Preisverleihung.

Das von den kolumbianischen Schauspielern Toto Vega und Nórida Rodríguez ins Leben gerufene Barichara Green Film Festival FESTIVER hat zum Ziel, eine neue Generation von Künstlern und Zuschauern aufzubauen, die sich für die Umwelt engagieren. Durch seine Vorführungen und die kontinuierliche Suche nach Ressourcen für die Erstellung umweltfreundlicher Filminhalte möchte FESTIVER Bildung und Unterhaltung bieten, indem es akademische, künstlerische und Freizeitaktivitäten entwickelt, die die kolumbianische Kulturlandschaft bereichern und zum Aufbau einer besseren Welt beitragen. Die 15. Ausgabe findet vom 25. bis 28. September 2025 in Barichara, Santander, Kolumbien statt.

The Festival "Ser o no Ser", general purpose is social education on causes arising from diseases, and dedicates each issue to one of them, (the first edition was dedicated to the theme of Alzheimer's, but the next will go to others such as they could for example be: those transplants, hepatitis, diabetes...).

Kicking off at an undisclosed location in the fall of 2016, the Wayfarer Film Festival embodies the spirit of the great American road trip, the lost traveler, and the unbeaten path. Each year, the Wayfarer Film Festival will takeover a different, unique venue for a weekend long celebration of independent cinema complete with awards, outings, parties, and of course film. The Vieques International Film Festival 2017 is designed to provide exposure to filmmakers of Puerto Rican, Hispanic, and Latino heritage. As a privately held public event created by the Brittany Dance, Film & Theatre Foundation (a Federal 501(c)3 non-profit bringing Arts education in dance, film, and theatre to the people of Vieques), all proceeds aside from the costs of running the Festival will go directly towards the operation of the Brittany and to continuing to bring more and more classes in the Arts to the local population. It is the hope that The Vieques International Film Festival will become an annual event and that it will help bring light to the possibility of the Arts world to those on the Island whom have not yet had the opportunity to experience it, furthering the goals of providing learning and personal growth through the Arts to all on the Island who wish to have access to it.

Das „Tels Quels Festival“ wird im Oktober 2024 vom gemeinnützigen Verein „Tels Quels“ in Brüssel veranstaltet.

Das Tels Quels Festival ist eine Veranstaltung, die sich an die breite Öffentlichkeit richtet und darauf abzielt, die LGBT-Kultur (Lesben, Schwule, Bisexuelle und Transgender) zu fördern und zu verbreiten. In diesem Rahmen findet ein LGBT-Kurzfilmwettbewerb statt.

Beim B-Retina Festival wollen wir eine Plattform für B-Movies aller Art werden, vom Guerilla-Trash-Kino bis hin zu nicht klassifizierbaren Kultmeisterwerken. Deshalb werden uns aufstrebende Talente, engagierte Künstler und schwer einzuordnende Charaktere zeigen, wie sie die Welt um uns herum mit ihrem Einfallsreichtum und ihrer Kühnheit verstehen und sehen.

Während der Festivaltage werden wir zu einem Schaufenster für eine Vielzahl von klassischen Filmen, Premieren, Kurzfilmen, Web-Serien, Vorträgen, Interviews und vielen Überraschungen werden.

Das einzige Festival in der Welt gewidmet Federico Fellini, gemacht in der schönen Stadt Fellini: Rimini.
SMART Academy Kulturverband, in Zusammenarbeit mit SMART Lab, und unter der Schirmherrschaft der Region Emilia Romagna, Rimini Bezirk und der Gemeinde Rimini, kündigt die 13. Ausgabe des Amarcort Film Festival, Kurzfilme Wettbewerb im November 2020 in Rimini.
Amarcort ist assoziiert mit AFIC (Associazione dei Festival Cinematografici Italiani) und
FEDIC (Federazione Italiana dei Cineclub).

Das Internationale Filmfestival für Kinder und Jugendliche OJO DE PESCADO ist eine jährliche Veranstaltung in Chile, bei der die neuesten und exklusivsten Film- und Fernsehinhalte aus der ganzen Welt für Kinder und Jugendliche gesammelt werden.

Das Festival wird von der OJO DE PESCADO CULTURAL CORPORATION organisiert, einer Erkundungs- und Aktionsplattform, die durch die Ausstellung von Filmen und die Förderung des audiovisuellen Schaffens dazu beitragen soll, das Recht von Kindern und Jugendlichen auf umfassende Bildung, Kommunikation und Meinungsäußerung zu gewährleisten.

Die 11. Ausgabe des Ojo de Pescado Film Festivals findet zwischen dem 5. und 15. November 2024 online auf dem gesamten chilenischen Gebiet und nur persönlich in der Region Valparaíso (sofern die gesundheitliche Situation dies zulässt) statt.

Die Wettbewerbskategorien sind:
- Kurzfilme für Kinder.
- Fernseh- oder Webserien für Kinder.
- Spielfilme für Kinder und Jugendliche.
- „Junge Filmemacher“ (Kurzfilme von Kindern oder Jugendlichen).

FICFUSA ist ein Filmfestival und ein gemeinschaftlicher kultureller Prozess mit dreizehn (13) Jahren Erfahrung. Mit seinem Ansatz „Frauen und Territorien“ versteht das Festival das Kino als einen Ort der Begegnung, der Schöpfung, der Reflexion und des sozialen Wandels.

FICFUSA mit Sitz in Fusagasugá in der Region Sumapaz in Kolumbien setzt sich für die Förderung der kulturellen Dezentralisierung, den Zugang zum Kino als kulturelles Recht und die Stärkung sozialer Bindungen durch audiovisuelles Geschichtenerzählen ein.

Für ihre Ausgabe 2026 lädt die FICFUSA Filmemacher ein, ihre Werke für die folgenden Festivalkategorien einzureichen:

2. Produziert von kolumbianischen Frauen — Kurzfilme unter der Regie von Frauen (Kolumbien)
