Brainwash, since 1995, has delighted audiences with a selection of the bizarre, the unique, and just plain old well-made movies from independent producers all over the world. With an eye toward the abstract, the innovative and the weird, Brainwash saluted it's 25th Silver Anniversary in the 2019 season, and, we're still going strong. We have consistently attracted entries we curate to be able to display some of the most cutting edge cinema from up and and coming directors, actors, producers and crews consistently year after year. Cellar Door Film Festival (CDFF) is Ottawa’s first showcase of speculative cinema, which celebrates the creativity of the Ottawa film scene and spotlights the city as a setting for the sinister and supernatural. CDFF encourages film culture, education, and production in Ottawa by promoting the creation, screening, and distribution of local, national and international films in the Nation’s capital.

IndieFlicks is the UK's monthly film festival, supporting the best up and coming filmmakers from around the world. IndieFlicks is continuously growing, hosting simultaneous screenings in Manchester, London and Sheffield. We also host a repeat screening the following week in Liverpool.

How our monthly festival works…

Our Monthly Festival is a showcase of Short films from around the world, screening 50 minutes of short film in the first half, followed by our selected Feature Short in the second. We also host a Q&A with filmmakers able to attend and talks with local creatives.
At each event, two films will be selected to win either one of our awards:

The People’s Choice Award
The Directors Choice Award

Films included in the first half are nominated for our 'The People's Choice Award’; This is evidently voted for our audiences on the night and votes are calculated collectively from all of our venues.

In the second half of the night we host our 'Feature Short', one film no longer than 50 minutes. This is our headliner for the event. This film is awarded, ‘The Directors Choice Award’, one that our Judging panel felt deserves recognition.

Filmmakers will be notified throughout the year. If successful, your film will be screened on the first Wednesday of a selected month.

Entries requirements:
-> All films must have been made in or after 2012 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken); A creation date does not apply in case of the screen writings from being stopped for submissions, but the submitted must be in English or have a copy translated in English;
-> We accept shorts, documentaries, animations, experimental, music videos, web and new media, commercials (all specified previously under 45 minutes); feature films and feature documentaries (any length, 45 + minutes);
->A description between 50 and 150 words;
->Trailer (not required for movies under 7 minutes; optional) and the film must be submitted as an on-line screener (Vimeo preferred) which may be embedded on the website for visitors to see your creation; you can further opt for modifications in your entry;
->Cover of the film/screen writing or a defining photo;

Cartoon Club — Internationales Festival für Animationskino, Comics und Spiele, das jetzt zum 41. Mal stattfindet, ist eines der bekanntesten Festivals der italienischen Szene.

Es ist ein bemerkenswertes Schaufenster für Animationsfilme, insbesondere Kurzfilme, darunter fiktionale, pädagogische, experimentelle und computergrafische Werke, wobei ein ganzer Bereich ausschließlich Comics gewidmet ist: Riminicomix.

Das Festival zeigt KURZE ANIMATIONSFILME in verschiedenen Sektionen:

CARTOON CLUB AWARD, der kurzen Animationsfilmen von professionellen Filmemachern und Produktionsfirmen offen steht.

SIGNOR ROSSI AWARD steht Animationsfilmen offen, die von Schülern der Sekundarstufe und Universität sowie von Studenten von Animationsfilmschulen gedreht wurden.

CARTOON KIDS AWARD: Unter den Titeln, die entweder für den Cartoon Club Award oder den Signor Rossi Award eingereicht wurden, wählt die Festivalleitung nach eigenem Ermessen einige kurze Animationsfilme aus, die sich an ein Kinderpublikum richten. Eine ausschließlich aus Kindern bestehende Jury wird unter diesen Filmen den Gewinner auswählen.

INTERNATIONALES PANORAMA, eine nicht wettbewerbsorientierte Sektion, die europäischen und außereuropäischen Animationskurzfilmen offen steht.

CARTOON JUNIOR AWARD, offen für kurze Animationsfilme, die im Rahmen von Workshops für Kinder in Italien oder im Ausland realisiert wurden.


Darüber hinaus bietet das Festival:

- Bildungs- und Sozialprojekte;
- Workshops in lokalen Schulen;
- eine der beliebtesten und unterhaltsamsten Cosplay-Conventions in Italien.

This project involves bringing students and teachers from different countries to participate with their films . Part of the program are even lectures and workshops of the movie professionals from different countries about film issues. We think that is very important for a student to confront with other students from around the world, so to know different cultures, different thoughts and to analyse the way their colleges work. We hope that First Step Fest will be a good chance young filmmakers in Albania to get inspiration and continue their dream.

CineEast – Short Film Festival Berlin is a platform for filmmakers from Eastern Europe and the Middle East. From the 29th – 30th July 2016, we will dive into their world presenting short films that will make us ponder, laugh and discover. Be it fiction or experimental, the festival will showcase films from regions currently garnering most attention for migration. It is our mission to give voice to the particular and provide our audience with intriguing, diverse and creative films.

The festival is founded on the belief in film as a medium able to provide empathy. Through the well known language of film we can access what other peoples lives, minds or ideas look like. Be it an enigmatic visual language or a fragment of everyday life.

Die achte Ausgabe des Film- und Fernsehfestivals des Königreichs León, nachfolgend LECYT, findet im Juli 2021 in der Stadt León statt.

LECYT, ist ein Projekt, das von der Leonesa Seventh Art Association erstellt und organisiert wurde. Und dank dem es zur Entwicklung und Verbreitung der kinematografischen Kultur in der Stadt León beiträgt, auf einer jährlichen Basis.

Alle Filme, die in der Ausschreibung für die 8. Ausgabe von LECYT registriert sind, werden zuerst überprüft, um zu sehen, ob sie die Anforderungen erfüllen, die wir in den Basen etablieren.

Wenn dieser erste Filter übergeben wird, werden sie von der Auswahlkommission betrachtet und analysiert, die sich aus einem gemeinsamen Team von Fachleuten und Spezialisten in der Welt der audiovisuellen Kunst, des Kinos und der audiovisuellen Produktion zusammensetzt. Und in dem auch die Festivalleitung vertreten ist.

DocuTIFF is exited inviting filmmakers to submit their films in the third edition of 2017 festival, which will take place in Tirana, this coming June, 2–9, 2017. DocuTIFF invites all documentaries from established and debut filmmakers alike to apply their films in International Competition and In Albanian Competition.

DocuTIFF aims to encouraging documentary film production in Albania and to give more chances to our filmmakers finding cooperation and enabling mutual contacts with their colleagues in our region, to build up a favorable climate creation in Albania and wider in region for development and cooperation of such productions.

DocuTIFF last year screened 180 films in three venues as well as in open air making it the largest film festival of its kind in Albania and one of the most important in the region.

C. NEW FEATURES – PARALLEL SCREENINGS
DocuTIFF has the pleasure to announce four optional services available for applicants.

∆ DocuTIFF.TV Competition
With our media partners we offer the possibility to directors screening their films (selected for the official competitive program or not) to the Albanian audience and win the TV audience awards in a yearly competition.

∆ DocuTIFF on Tour
DocuTIFF will act as ambassador for the submitted films and will travel with a selection to other Albanian cities during the year. DocuTIFF will also propose special screenings to other regional festivals in accordance to a specific subject or theme of each collaborative festival.

∆ DocuTIFF Online Library
TIFF offer the online presentation of each film, in a dedicated page, as a part of a film library, with all related information and with the possibility to receive comments from the international Internet audience and industry. The screening of films is open to anyone without charges. The films will be available for viewing in the film library as long as director/producer wishes.

∆ DocuTIFF Market Corner
DocuTIFF will create a market corner during the eight days, where potential buyers can watch all films and make their selection. DocuTIFF will also act as a festival promoter and distributor. In case of financial contract with a distributor, DocuTIFF will receive a fee of 5%.

Willkommen zur XXI Ausgabe des International Air Film Festival, ein Veteran Festival, das 1999 begann und als Thema Luft und Flug in all seinen Facetten hat. Dieses Jahr 2020 wurden wir einundzwanzig Jahre alt und zeigen den Besuchern unseres Festivals das Beste aus Flugkino aus aller Welt. Zwanzig Jahre, in denen sich die Welt der audiovisuellen Medien radikal verändert hat, von Formaten, Qualität und auch in der Produktion, wo wir sehr professionelle Produktionen und auch „Amateur“ Produzenten haben, die uns mit sehr originellen und gut gearbeiteten Formaten und Produktionen überraschen können.
Dieses Filmfestival führte zu dem aktuellen „Festival del Aire“, wo wir endlose Aktivitäten im Zusammenhang mit Flug und Sport finden und wo natürlich das Kino eine führende Rolle spielt.

Das Molins Film Festival wurde 1973 in Molins de Rei (Barcelona) gegründet. Im November 2025 werden wir die 44. Ausgabe abhalten.

Das Festival, bekannt als TerrorMolins, besteht aus einer wettbewerbsfähigen offiziellen Sektion für Spielfilme, einer offiziellen Sektion für Kurzfilme, Retrospektiven, Dokumentarfilmen, Live-Shows, Workshops, Networking/Pitching, Projektionen für Gymnasien, Projektionen für Kinder... und einem der ältesten Horrorfilm-Marathons der Welt, unserem 12-Stunden-Horrorfilm-Marathon (1973)...
