Lifestyle Spectrum International Film Festival is a curated international film festival based in Austin, Texas, dedicated to independent cinema, visual storytelling, and author-driven films.
The festival focuses on strong cinematic vision, narrative identity, and bold creative voices from around the world. Our mission is to create an intimate and professional screening experience that connects filmmakers, audiences, and industry professionals in a meaningful way.
The festival includes official screenings, filmmaker discussions, and an awards ceremony, presented in a theatrical environment.
Now in our second year, the Inspired Screenwriting Competition is doubling down on our mission to amplify bold and unique new voices and disrupt the status quo of the film industry. In an effort to make this opportunity more accessible to everyone, we're lowering our entry fee and asking writers to submit only the FIRST 20 PAGES of their screenplays. After reviewing those pages, we'll reach out and request full scripts from everyone who advances to the second round.
We’re looking for feature-length screenplays that stand out, break the mold, and connect with audiences in unforgettable ways.
The Inspired Screenwriting Competition was founded by experienced filmmakers and screenwriters who have had a long history in this business. Frustrated with what felt like a decrease in opportunities for newcomers and unique voices and an increase in the amount of organizations that were happy to take an entry fee and offer nothing in return, we felt it was time to take matters into our own hands.
Our mission is to shake up the industry by changing the kinds of scripts that make it to the screen. We feel that now more than ever, the film business needs to embrace new talent telling authentic stories from unique perspectives.
As writers ourselves, we also hate it when people try to put us in a box. And we don’t want to put you in a box, either. That’s why we don’t have separate genre categories.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR THE STRONGEST VOICES IN SCREENWRITING.
We believe that it’s only through showing who you are with your writing can you truly reach your audience in a meaningful way.
So, send us your best. Send us your personal. Send us the crazy out-there ideas that could have only come from (insert your name here).
Because, whether it’s a high concept comedy, historical drama, elevated horror or something in between (if anyone has that script, btw, def send it our way), if it came from you, we want to read it.
And when we do find that special script? That script that blows our minds?
WE ARE GONNA WANT TO TELL EVERYBODY.
So, use your voice and shout it from the rooftops because…
We’re listening.

Born in 2023 as a space for environmental awareness, Gamboa Zinemaldia has established itself as a meeting point between cinema, community, and sustainability. In 2026, we celebrate our fourth edition with a renewed commitment: to inspire, educate, and mobilize through the art of film.
From Ullibarri-Gamboa to the whole of Álava, the festival weaves connections between culture and territory, fostering a more respectful relationship with the natural environment. Gamboa Zinemaldia is not just an audiovisual showcase; it is a cultural movement that understands cinema as a tool for social and ecological transformation.
Each screening seeks to spark reflection; each story to open a conversation; each edition to leave a mark on the collective conscience.
“At Gamboa Zinemaldia, we don’t just screen films; we cultivate awareness and sow change through the art of cinema.”
In the 2026 edition of the Quibdó Africa Film Festival, we descend into a profound and resonant space where Africa and its global Diaspora converge under the enigmatic banner of NOIR. This festival is far more than a series of film screenings it is a transformative cultural odyssey featuring immersive workshops, critical dialogues, and artistic exhibitions. It is a journey through shadow and revelation, traversing time from the echoes of the past and the complexities of the present, into the speculative futures waiting to be imagined. This event is not merely about showcasing films; it is about navigating a space that embodies both deep memory and radical representation, a space that compels us to confront our histories and the multitude of identities we inhabit and forge.
The 2026 festival will convene a groundbreaking assembly of visionary Afro-diasporic filmmakers, representing a dynamic artistic vanguard that boldly reconfigures reality through the potent fusion of art, historical reclamation, and speculative fiction. These creators engage in a vital dialogue within this curated cinematic universe, challenging and transcending conventional narratives to illuminate the full spectrum of the Black experience.
At the pulsating core of our 2026 vision lies the afrodisruptive power of NOIR. This cinematic approach is designed to challenge, destabilize, and transform. It is potent, impactful, and intellectually thrilling. It seeks to disrupt the comfort of the status quo, to overturn simplistic narratives and reinvigorate our collective imagination. This revolutionary concept offers a 360-degree reexamination a critical and celebratory reinterpretation of traditions, identities, and futures through a distinctly Black lens.
In essence, the Quibdó Africa Film Festival 2026 is not merely an event; it is a cultural awakening. It is a deliberate plunge into the creative darkness where new light is forged, and a celebration of the relentless, transformative spirit of global Afro cinema and artistry.
We want to organize this FOURTH EDITION, a call for short and long films, where THE MEMORY are the main theme in the selected works.

BIO FILM FESTIVAL (2026)
Agricultural and environmental biodiversity is an invaluable heritage, entrusted to us and essential for the future of our planet. It is deeply connected to the health of ecosystems, but also to our cultures, economies, and ways of living. Now in its fourth edition, the Bio Film Festival 2026 continues its commitment to raising awareness about biodiversity and fostering a shared responsibility for its protection.
Building on the path traced in previous years, the festival further explores ecological regeneration as both a necessity and a possibility. Through a curated selection of films that address the fragile balance of natural systems, the consequences of climate change, and regenerative practices in agriculture and land stewardship, the Bio Film Festival invites audiences to reflect, connect, and imagine alternative futures. Cinema becomes a tool for observation, dialogue, and transformation.
Set in the evocative province of Belluno, surrounded by the Dolomites—recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site—the festival takes place in the village of Sospirolo. Here, an open-air cinema immersed in nature offers a powerful and immersive viewing experience, where landscape and storytelling resonate with one another.
The Bio Film Festival 2026 presents documentaries, short fiction films, and animated works from around the world, each offering a unique perspective on biodiversity and environmental sustainability. Together, these films form a collective narrative that speaks to urgency, resilience, and hope. Awards will be presented during the closing ceremony for Best Documentary, Best Short Film, and Best Animated Short, honoring filmmakers whose work engages with environmental and social challenges.
The festival’s logo—depicting a child bringing life back to a grey, depleted world—remains a strong symbol of regeneration, care, and future possibility. The Bio Film Festival 2026 reaffirms itself as a space for encounter, education, and creative action, dedicated to nurturing a deeper relationship between humans and the living world.
