Sofía MENAR Film Festival hace que el público búlgaro conozca la cultura y las tradiciones del mundo islámico. El programa del Sofia MENAR Film Festival presenta lo mejor de las producciones cinematográficas de Oriente Medio y Norte de África, incluyendo largometrajes, documentales y proyectos cortos. Muchos eventos de acompañamiento se organizan en el marco del festival. Estos eventos son especialmente seleccionados y vinculados con los países de esta región, representando las tradiciones y costumbres de los grupos étnicos que habitan sus tierras.
El festival se celebra todos los años en enero y se celebra al mismo tiempo en Sofía y otras grandes ciudades búlgaras. Menar es organizado por «Pozor» como un evento cultural más grande de los Balcanes que representa el mundo musulmán y sus tradiciones.

Sofía MENAR Film Festival continúa la tradición del Festival de Cine «Flores del Corán», organizado 4 años después, de 2009 a 2012, haciendo que el público búlgaro conozca más de 120 producciones cinematográficas que aportan el espíritu de Oriente.
El término MENAR, que significa «Oriente Medio y África del Norte», es un acrónimo que se utiliza a menudo para abarcar una extensa zona, que abarca desde Marruecos hasta el Irán, incluida la mayoría de los países del Oriente Medio y del Magreb.

Cartoon Club — Festival Internacional de Cine de Animación, Cómic y Juegos, que ya celebra su 42ª edición, es uno de los festivales más conocidos de la escena italiana.

Se trata de un espacio privilegiado para la animación, sobre todo para los cortometrajes, que incluyen obras de ficción, educativas, experimentales y de infografía, con toda una sección dedicada exclusivamente a los cómics: Riminicomix.

El Festival presenta CORTOMETRAJES DE ANIMACIÓN en varias secciones:

El PREMIO CARTOON CLUB: abierto a cortometrajes de animación realizados por cineastas y productoras profesionales.

El PREMIO SIGNOR ROSSI: abierto a cortometrajes de animación realizados por estudiantes de secundaria y universitarios, y por estudiantes de escuelas de cine de animación.

El CARTOON KIDS AWARD: abierto a cortometrajes de animación dirigidos a un público infantil. Entre las películas seleccionadas para las secciones «Cartoon Club» y «Premio Signor Rossi», la dirección artística del Festival seleccionará, según su criterio, algunos títulos que serán juzgados por un jurado compuesto exclusivamente por niños que determinará el ganador.

El CARTOON JUNIOR AWARD está abierto a cortometrajes de animación realizados en talleres para niños, en Italia o en el extranjero.

El CARTOON CLUB AI AWARD está abierto a cortometrajes totalmente animados por IA realizados con herramientas de IA por estudiantes, cineastas profesionales y compañías de producción.

Premio medioambiental CARTOON CLUB: entre las películas seleccionadas para las secciones «Cartoon Club Award» y «Signor Rossi Award», la dirección artística del Festival seleccionará, según su criterio, el título que mejor represente los temas relacionados con la protección del medio ambiente.

PANORAMA INTERNACIONAL: sección no competitiva abierta a cortometrajes de animación europeos y no europeos.

Además, el festival presenta:
- exposiciones;
- proyectos educativos y sociales;
- talleres en las escuelas locales;
- una de las convenciones de cosplay más populares y entretenidas de Italia.

Rahway International Film Festival is an international film festival and networking event based in Rahway, New Jersey, U.S.A, only 40 minutes away from New York City. It was first held in June of 2013 in an effort to create a warm and welcoming home for independent filmmakers and fans of film in the Tri-State Area. We annually showcase short films, feature films and music videos while offering networking and workshop opportunities to those interested in the film industry.

This year’s event will take place over the course of a full weekend from Friday, August 28, 2015 - Sunday, August 30, 2015. As we enter our third year, we are expanding to a three-day weekend event. This means more films (including both features & shorts), more workshops, more seminars, more filmmaker Q&As, and much more!

MI PRIMER FESTIVAL - Festival internacional de cine par niños y niñas, de Barcelona & Madrid - 19ª edición: del 7 al 22 de noviembre de 2026.

"Mi Primer Festival" es un festival internacional de cine para niños y niñas de 2 a 12 años. Mi Primer Festival de Cine presenta más de 100 películas en un total de 21 proyecciones. En resumen, MPF es un espectáculo cinematográfico que muestra diferentes técnicas y formatos y la creatividad de artistas de todo el mundo.

El concurso internacional de CORTOMETRAJES para niños incluirá 4 programas:

- Concurso Internacional de Cortos para niños mayores de 3 años

- Concurso Internacional de Cortos para niños mayores de 5 años

- Concurso Internacional de Cortos para niños mayores de 7 años

- Concurso Internacional de Cortos para niños mayores de 10 años

La competición internacional de LARGOMETRAJES incluirá una programación de películas, con un máximo de 10 títulos.

El festival tendrá lugar en noviembre de forma simultánea en Barcelona y Madrid y es una gran oportunidad para que los niños y niñas de 2 a 12 años descubran un cine singular e inédito.

El festival programa también películas que no han sido creadas específicamente para el público infantil, razón por la cual anima a las directoras y directores de cine así como a las distribuidoras a que presenten sus trabajos aunque no hayan sido concebidos para este perfil de público. Los espectadores más jóvenes aceptan el reto, y las introducciones y debates que acompañan los visionados ofrecen un buen contexto para la comprensión y disfrute de las películas.

A broad-spectrum festival, annually since 2010, the CFF welcomes brave and beautiful - and fun - films from around the world to Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. We typically program over 100 films for the event. Screenings are located in multiple venues in the region over the 10 day festival event.

18° FESTIVAL DE CINE EXPERIMENTAL CINETORO

CINETORO se proyecta como un Festival-Escuela transdisciplinar, dedicado a la práctica curatorial y a la formación de cineastas; construyendo puentes entre talentos emergentes y destacados artistas nacionales e internacionales, y promoviendo el análisis y la crítica en torno a la producción y al pensamiento sobre el cine experimental y la animación.

Abogamos por un cine en el que la poesía y el arte dialoguen; que trace su límite más allá del perímetro de la espectacularidad, de la corrección técnica, de los temas y las formas en agenda. Un cine imperfecto, que acepta su condición artesanal y se preocupa por recuperar la conciencia de la corporalidad; que reflexiona, problematiza y cuestiona la construcción de la imagen y del sonido.

Un cine con impronta territorial, que se rediseña, muta y se pronuncia ante el mundo. Que resignifica el territorio, transforma la mirada sobre la ruralidad y brinda a la comunidad espacios para la apropiación del conocimiento.

Un sonido lejano retumba en la oscuridad de la sala, un llamado que viene desde las profundidades abisales del océano, un canto penetrante que atrae y ata. Quien escucha accede a un desfasaje temporal y salta al vacío. Ese salto implica un peligro, y al mismo tiempo, es un encuentro con lo desconocido.

Las películas que saltan, que buscan en la oscuridad, en la sombra, en el misterio, en lo espectral, en el sonido, pero también en el silencio, son las que nos interesan en esta edición.

El sonido, como movimiento, puede revelar la dimensión temporal de una imagen, ya sea estática o en movimiento. Más que apoyar las imágenes de forma semántica, el sonido puede convertirse en su eje estructural.

Buscamos películas que exploren diversas relaciones entre imagen y sonido, o que traten el sonido como material plástico. Ya sea a través de un enfoque conceptual donde el sonido estructura la película; o donde la voz cobra peso no solo por lo que dice, sino por sus cualidades: la voz como material plástico, como revelación y reverberación; o donde la música, en lugar de acompañar simplemente la imagen, se convierta en una parte estructural de la obra. Películas que toman forma a través del sonido.

Queremos sumergirnos en las profundidades del sonido, cerrar los ojos y ver y escuchar mientras nadamos y nos sumergimos; porque, desde una perspectiva teórica o curatorial, se ha explorado poco en estas aguas.

Los cantos abisales actúan como un llamado, y a este llamado queremos responder en esta edición. Buscamos animaciones, documentales, ficciones, cine híbrido y experimentaciones que resuenen con estos cantos, con esta invitación a ver y oír de otra manera.

El Festival Internacional de Cortos y Videoclips Caostica ha sido distinguido por la Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas de España como festival calificador en las categorías de cortometrajes para los Premios Goya.

Desde el año 2003, CAOSTICA organiza en Bilbao este Festival referente en la cultura del audiovisual más transgresor e irreverente.

El Festival de Cine Andaluz de Burguillos tiene como objetivo la difusión y promoción de cortometrajes que hayan sido rodados en Andalucía o dirigidos o producidos por andaluces, así como el apoyo cultural a la cinematografía y el impulso de la cultura en la localidad de Burguillos (Sevilla).

El Festival de Cine de Cisterna es un festival internacional de cortometrajes que se celebra anualmente en julio en Cisterna di Latina, Italia. A lo largo de los años, el festival se ha consolidado como un vibrante punto de encuentro para el cortometraje contemporáneo, que presenta obras destacadas de cineastas emergentes y establecidos de todo el mundo. El festival está organizado por la asociación cultural Mobilitazioni Artistiche y promovido por el Ayuntamiento de Cisterna di Latina, con la dirección artística de Cristian Scardigno.

De 2015 a 2025, el Festival de Cine de Cisterna presentó una amplia selección de estrenos nacionales e internacionales, incluidas películas exhibidas en los principales festivales como Cannes, Venecia, Berlín, Sundance y Clermont-Ferrand, así como obras galardonadas con los premios cinematográficos más prestigiosos, incluidos los premios de la Academia, los premios David di Donatello, los premios César y los premios Goya.

About Festival – The Annual Delhi Women's International Film Festival (DWIFF) is one of the few international film and arts festivals dedicated to women's. DWIFF films and screenings are selected and hosted by filmmakers, professors, and other notable figures in the world of film. In addition to exhibiting the next new wave of women filmmakers, the DWIFF also makes time to pay tribute to films by women with historical significance.

Mission & Objective - The mission of the Delhi Women's International Film Festival (DWIFF) is to empower women's artistic vision internationally. With women representing only 7% of filmmakers, we would like to increase the number of women in the industry and support those women who are actively involved by assisting filmmakers and artists with the development of their craft.

Se trata del único Festival de Cine online en el mundo en el que los presos pertenecientes al Taller de Cine del Centro penitenciario de Daroca (España) tienen una intensa y activa participación:

Visionando, preseleccionando y decidiendo los Premios (junto a un Jurado de profesionales del sector);

Participando en el rodaje de un sketch de comedia junto a una estrella homenajeada, así como en todas las fases previas – como el guión, planificación, actuación, iluminación, sonido y producción – y en la postproducción del mismo;

Y en la preparación y realización de entrevistas a la citada estrella homenajeada y demás visitantes ilustres a la prisión.

Un trabajo de varios meses de duración que incide muy positivamente en su reinserción social.

The Flagler Film Festival was formed to showcase the work of new and emerging filmmakers as well as more experienced filmmakers. We believe there are many creative and innovative artists who deserve recognition for their efforts, especially those constrained by low budgets. We believe that sometimes even more creativity is required when a filmmaker has little or no budget with which to create a film. We believe these films should be seen and be recognized for the efforts of the teams that put them together. The writers, directors, crew, actors and all the talented people involved in the production of a film, whether it is a feature or a short, deserve to have a chance to be seen. We are proud to give filmmakers an opportunity to show their work.

Our fourth annual Flagler Film Festival showcased many fantastic films from around the world, including a short animation which was nominated this year for an Academy Award! Films produced by students from Florida State University, NYU, University of Virginia, Savannah College of Art & Design, Full Sail University, and the American Film Institute were screened as well as films from graduates of many other fine colleges and universities. We were proud to showcase local filmmakers as well as filmmakers from such diverse locations as Luxembourg, Spain, France, Rwanda, Australia, Nepal, Canada, Serbia, Iran, and Peru. As an artistic community, we enjoy including musicians, writers and artists at our festival as well as filmmakers. This year our special guest was Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Steve Boone, of the '60's band The Lovin' Spoonful. Steve met many of our audience and signed CDs, albums and his new book, "Hotter than a Match Head: On the Run with the Lovin' Spoonful." We showcased a short comedy from actor Chris Roach who currently stars on CBS in "Kevin Can Wait" with Kevin James. One of our documentaries, "Daddy Don't Go" was recently picked up by Starz and will be available to the public!

The third annual Flagler Film Festival was proud to showcase amazing films from around the world. We had a film about a Grammy-nominated children's choir from Uganda called "Imba Means Sing" (now in national distribution), a documentary film by an Emmy Award winning filmmaker, a film narrated by the Academy Award winning, legendary actress Olivia De Havilland, two films which won student Emmy Awards and two films which were screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner. We were very proud to be the only festival in Florida to screen "Animals" an independent feature film written by and starring David Dastmalchian (Ant Man, The Dark Knight) now in national distribution. In addition, we had a terrific assortment of low budget, independent and student films which amazed our audience. Over 20 films had representation at the festival with lively, emotional and intelligent Q&As after the screenings. So far, two of our Best Documentary Feature Nominees from our 3rd Annual Festival have announced national distribution deals. Both "My Father's Vietnam" (winner) and nominee "Mount Lawrence" will be seen this spring on VOD platforms as well as other formats, including theatrical. Our second annual festival showcased excellent student and small budget films as well as films with extraordinary credentials, including a film written by two-time Academy Award winning screenwriter, Horton Foote (To Kill a Mockingbird). We were proud to have as our special guest, Laura Tyler, make up artist known for her work on "Face Off" and "Hunger Games." She did a special live demonstration for our audience by turning an actor into a zombie! Also in attendance was actress Evalena Marie (Serena and the RATTS, Dark Haul, Remains) representing the indie feature "Visionary." Our festivities concluded with a champagne awards celebration on our last evening.

We are very proud that several of our official selections from our first two years have received distribution and can be seen on Blu-Ray, DVD and streaming sites. Many of our selected films have gone on to win many awards at festivals around the world. We wish much success to all the filmmakers out there!

Flagler Film Festival announced our new association with Renny Roker, film and television actor, writer and producer. Renny has appeared in or starred in 47 films and over 400 television episodes in his career. He is currently producing new projects in the Flagler County area. He also mentors college students and does charity work. We are thrilled to have his support and through his worldwide contacts in the film industry, we will be expanding our presence in the festival world.

Flagler Film Festival was inspired by the amazingly talented people we have met who perform all the hard work that is required to make a film. We recognize that there are many creative filmmakers who are looking for a place to showcase their work. We are located in a relaxed, pristine beach area with community members who support the arts. Galleries, live theater and now a film festival are part of our small city located in beautiful Flagler County, Florida. Our coastal location is within a short distance to many Florida attractions. If you are a filmmaker who has drive and talent, who is looking for a place to show your work, and is interested in Florida sunshine in January, we hope that you will submit your film for consideration in our festival.

The Flagler Film Festival was created by independent filmmakers for independent filmmakers. Wolfe Productions, LLC and Cashback International, Inc. are the co-founders of the Flagler Film Festival.
