1. Brain Film Fest
The Brain Film Fest (BFF) is an international film festival dedicated to highlighting and promoting the creation and dissemination of feature films and short films about any aspect of the brain, from its amazing abilities and conditions to its pathologies. The BFF is jointly organized by the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and Minimal Films. In addition to being a film competition, the BFF will also organize throughout the festival other in-person and online social, cultural and/or scientific events that focus on the brain.
The 8th edition of the Brain Film Fest will be held from March 12 to 16, 2025.
PLAY is the first Portuguese film festival, exclusively dedicated to children and teenagers, determined to promote the access to culture for a younger audience through Cinema and screening films for audiences aged between 1 and 16 years old.
After a great success of the first ever Film Festival in an ancient city of Alwar (Rajasthan, Western India)surrounded by the Aravalli range of mountains, we are proud to present the second edition. The first edition had participation from 70 countries with 470 films. The event was attended by delegates from North America, Europe, Middle East and India.
The theme of the festival is CULTURAL DISCOVERY.
Independent filmmakers and all film lovers are welcome to join us in 2 days of exciting events. In addition to live screening of your work, you will also get opportunities for networking, participation in the discussions/seminars and a co-creators' workshop on the sidelines of the main event. We offer celebrations for all who have a passion for film making and for film viewing. We value story/content over budget. If you enjoy and have courage to experiment, here is the place for you to showcase your work.
Event Attractions:
1. Cinema of all genres, any length and budget are welcome from all over the world.
2. No restriction on the year of making. May be your unrecognized old work gets discovered here.
3. Music albums/videos/trailers are also acceptable.
4. Web series/TV Pilot can also be submitted.
5. Students are encouraged to participate and show their talent.
6. A separate category for mobile film/homemade/amateur productions.
7. A co-creators' workshop for the successful entries. You can get potential partners and financiers in this event.
8. Works in progress are accepted provided the completion takes place before the event.
9. World premieres of the films are a high priority.
10. Selection and screening of the films will be as follows:
a): Official Selection: First Selection list will be named as "Official Selection". These films will get a Certificate of Official Selection.
b): FINALISTS: Second Selection will be from the Official Selection list. The films selected from the first list will be named as "FINALISTS". These films will qualify for screening depending upon requisite technical requirements.
c): SCREENING: Some of the FINALISTS will be selected for Screening.
d): AWARD WINNERS: Award will be announced on the last day of screening in the Award Ceremony.

The 14th version of the Festival has as its central theme ¨Community Cinema as a generator of Social Change and Progress¨, the jury prioritizes content that has this focus, however the reception of audiovisual pieces is not closed exclusively to said theme, for Therefore, other types of content will be widely accepted.
¨Community cinema is not only an art form, but also a powerful tool to promote fundamental values of a progressive society, such as gender equality, social justice and citizen participation. It facilitates debate, plurality and solidarity, and offers a means of expression for the different groups and identities that make up the social, cultural and identity fabric of Colombia, at local, regional and national levels. ¨
It is for this reason that the Comuna 13 Film and Video Festival, The Other History in its 2024 version has decided to generate spaces for dialogue and exchange of knowledge around community cinema, encouraging the participation of the most prominent groups in the country in this modality in order to share experiences, methodologies and knowledge with the academic sector of our city (Audiovisual creation network, technical media, peace schools among others)

Esto Es Para Esto is a cinema collective group dedicated to independent cinema screening, spreading and film discussion, based in Monterrey City, México.
We seek for different forms of cinema, transcending media’s conventions and traditions that challenge the established. Cinematographic mirages, audiovisual delirium, dreams in motion, video-mutations, images and sound that travel through blood and brain cells to the screen, without format, duration or genre prejudices at all. We want to share your delirious audiovisions, pour them into the receptacle of light and discuss what might detonate in the minds of those who observe and listen.
SANTIAGO HORROR - International Fantastic Film Festival, is a film meeting that is held annually in the first week of October in Santiago, Chile. This is a platform that seeks to promote the cinematographic, cultural, artistic, musical that was born in 2018. The function of the Festival also includes bringing the national public under the umbrella of the seventh art to the most varied lineup of premieres, avant premieres, feature films, short films, animation and music videos

FESTIVAL ENTRE DEUX... CANNES
We accept films, that deal with themes of disability or Deaf culture, or about people who identify as 'disabled', 'people with a disability', or use terms like 'handicapped', 'functional diversity', or -abled'. We also welcome Deaf and neurodiverse people who do not identify with or use these terms.'
All the films need to be SUBTITLED IN FRENCH IN WHITE COLOR and in second line in English with orange color for them to be accepted on competition.
Our jury and the board of organisation is composed by valid and handicap persons.
A terrific film festival in the ancient city of Coventry in England. Our audience has more than tripled since the event began. We are expanding this year to include an extra session of documentaries.
The first night is Short Film night, Feature film showing and Driver Award Presentation for Best Short Film & Best Performance in a Short film.
The second and final night consists of the documentary/music videos/animation screenings and the Driver Award Ceremony for Best Feature Film.
One of the main events dedicated to the promotion of contemporary production of Ibero-American animation cinema reaches its 17th edition punctuated with attractions, in addition to the already traditional parade of the main animated productions in Portuguese and Spanish.
For the next edition, exceptionally, Baixada Animada will receive films from other countries outside the Ibero-American region that will make up the "AniMundo Show", a parallel out-of-competition show.
Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre (BARS) is an international film festival devoted to the genres of HORROR, science fiction and fantasy.
Born in 2000 to put focus on independent genre film, and since 2004 in the form of a competitive festival.
In 2018, Almagro International Film Festival -AIFF- born with the aim of establishing a useful platform for the promotion of the audiovisual industry: a space and time for dissemination and promotion of audiovisual content, transforming the city of Almagro into a meeting point for filmmakers, favoring the exchange of initiatives and promoting a market open to the development of new projects.
AIFF will provide a showcase for the most interesting short format projects done within the last recent months, constituting an standard of quality and high level of commitment to the society & culture of Audiovisual Arts. In addition, the Festival has opened an important window to formats created for online distribution, bringing support to one of the most active and emerging sectors of the audiovisual industry: Internet.
With this selection of audiovisual young people from the island, the visualization of a scientific production, its directors and the new exhibition spaces of Cuban cinema in the continent are proposed.
