Ars Independent Festival 2019 will be the 9th multimedia festival of film, animation, video games and music videos. The upcoming edition will take place in Katowice, between the 24th and 29th of September 2019.

The festival is searching for what’s cool in young, debuting, contemporary audio-visual culture. It’s not afraid to watch videos with 27 views on YouTube, it’s missing the “least popular” sorting option on itch.io and considers Festival Scope Pro decidedly “too mainstream”.

The heart of the festival are four international competitions, in which the audience decides about the awarding of prizes. The Black Horse of Film (feature films from all over the world) and the Black Horse of Animation (short features) present the cinematographic debuts by directors from the entire world, often as their Polish premieres. The Black Horse of Video Games and the Black Horse of Music Video are devoted to new games and music videos.

Additionally, every year festivalgoers are treated to: screenings of films, animations and music videos, video game exhibitions, virtual reality and new technologies, discussion panels and Q&As with artists, concerts, live acts and musical afterparties.

In previous years, the festival hosted a variety of artists from all over the world, including Béla Tarr, Nina Menkes, Phil Mulloy, Laila Pakalnina, Bruce LaBruce, Tami Tamaki, Stephen „M.O.O.N.” Gilarde, Jakuba Dvorský, Mariola Brillowska, Piotr Dumała, Arkadiusz Jakubik, Bodo Kox, Łukasz Barczyk, Sos Sosowski, Wiktor Stribog and Władysław Komendarek.

The event is organized by the culture institution Katowice the City of Gardens and the City of Katowice.

Her Point of View has entered into a partnership agreement with the Community Education Department of Watkins College of Art, Design & Film in Nashville TN. The Nashville festival will be held at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film in September 2015. Specific dates are being finalized and will be released soon. Stay tuned! New programming developments occurring every day.


Empowering current and future generations of artists currently underrepresented in front of and behind the camera, Her Point of View, a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization, launches this year and will present arts and entertainment created from a woman’s point of view in Nashville, TN with screenings in Atlanta GA. New cities are added everyday.

In each city, Her Point of View will conduct a four (4) day international film festival complete with workshops, panels, independent and studio films, fine art gallery, live music events, industry parties and plenty of networking mixers. Filmmakers, film, TV, music, art and entertainment executives and celebrities are invited to participate in the event developed to highlight women artists from around the world.

Rahway International Film Festival is an international film festival and networking event based in Rahway, New Jersey, U.S.A, only 40 minutes away from New York City. It was first held in June of 2013 in an effort to create a warm and welcoming home for independent filmmakers and fans of film in the Tri-State Area. We annually showcase short films, feature films and music videos while offering networking and workshop opportunities to those interested in the film industry.

This year’s event will take place over the course of a full weekend from Friday, August 28, 2015 - Sunday, August 30, 2015. As we enter our third year, we are expanding to a three-day weekend event. This means more films (including both features & shorts), more workshops, more seminars, more filmmaker Q&As, and much more!

Desde 2002, nas profundezas da Sibéria, o festival acontece anualmente. Longe do Côte d`Azur para o clima severo de Taiga, 7000 km de Londres, 4500 km de Moscou e 300 km de Krasnoyarsk por 'Irons Road', e da Ferrovia Trans-Sibéria. FESTER is a regular film series in Los Angeles showcasing “Mindfuck Movies,” films that crawl inside your head and stay there like the memory of a fever dream.

Rural FilmFest, member of Green Film Network (GFN) and Pantalla Federation, is an international itinerant film festival, which offers a current overview of international documentary film, fiction and animation in a short, medium and long format related to the rural world, ecology, sustainability and natural and cultural resources. Rural FilmFest is not a common film festival, it is a unique and unrepeatable event. It is a summer camp, with excursions, multi-adventure, geocaching awards ceremony (Yes, you read that right. As a filmmaker you will have to find your trophy at the closing gala via GPS coordinates), international coexistence, dance, party and lifelong friendships. It is the experience of your life and if you attend, you will not want it goes over and you will want to return next year... O Ocejón Travel Film Festival nasceu em 2009 em duas pequenas aldeias na região de Sierra Norte, em Guadalajara (Espanha), promovido por um pequeno grupo de vizinhos preocupados em atrair cinema para o ambiente rural, particularmente o cinema não comercial e comprometido que tende a ter pouca distribuição nos cinemas normais, mas quase nada nas aldeias ou cidades pequenas. Mas os organizadores também queriam a participação ativa do bairro, além de atrair a atenção de pessoas de outras cidades, regiões e cidades para conhecer o lugar onde moramos e compartilhar experiências.

Por esse motivo, desde o início, tentamos fazer com o menor orçamento possível compensar os escassos recursos econômicos com a coragem e a vontade de nós e de nossos vizinhos, o capital humano.

Nove anos depois, em 2018, o festival mudou-se para outra pequena cidade, Jesús Pobre, na região de Marina Alta (Alicante), mas mantém o mesmo espírito e interesses originais: queremos levar filmes de viagem (de qualquer tipo) para a vila.

Atualmente, os organizadores estão integrados à associação sem fins lucrativos “La Jalea Cultural del Montgó”. Em 2018, coincidindo com sua décima edição, foi comemorado pela primeira vez na orla da montanha Montgó.

Golden Orchid International Animation and Film Festival is one of the most famous and important animation & film festival in the world, since 2012.

14ª edição do Festival Internacional de Cinema para crianças e adolescentes “AniFestroZafa”, de 13 a 16 de novembro de 2023 em Shkodra, Albânia.

O júri internacional do festival AniFestroZafa 2023 será estabelecido em cooperação com a European Children's Film Association ECFA.

A avaliação dos valores artísticos será feita por um júri internacional e por um júri especial composto por 23 crianças de 8 a 12 anos.

Na seleção, será anunciado o filme vencedor “Prêmio ECFA”, que competirá como concorrente do festival de BERLIM em fevereiro de 2024.

Os filmes para competir na 14ª edição do Festival Internacional de Cinema para Crianças e Adolescentes devem ter sido produzidos após 1º de junho de 2021.

THE LONG ISLAND FILM FESTIVAL IS THE LONGEST RUNNING FILM FESTIVAL ON LONG ISLAND!

Our MISSION is to discover, promote and give venue to independent filmmakers, not just from the greater New York area, but from other regions of America and abroad. For 34 years, the Long Island Film Festival has presented high quality film programs and has made a major contribution to the Long Island community by promoting films that are entertaining, educational and enhance the general public's understanding of cinema culture and the humanities.

During those 35 years, we have witnessed filmmaking transform itself from a strictly film medium to a highly technological global digital art form with sophisticated software operating on specially configured computers. As a result, there are more filmmakers attempting to break into the film industry. It is those new filmmakers that the Long Island Film Festival seeks to discover.

As an international film festival, World Lens focuses on foreign Indie filmmakers that are producing films that are pieces of their culture and set in economic, social, environmental, and political spheres. It is the commitment of the Long Island Film Festival to bring these films to America and present these perspectives to Long Islanders to enlighten and enhance their understanding of the world around us.

Filmfest homochrom is the LGBT festival in Germany’s gay capital Cologne and in Dortmund (the biggest city in the metropolitan area Rhine-Ruhr).

Filmfest homochrom is one of the youngest LGBT film festival in Germany, but it is already one of the biggest, too. That’s why we are giving our best to establish an outstanding programme.

We are very honoured and proud that audiences have heartily embraced our first film festivals, and that we were able to show so many great premieres (about 70% of the films were German premieres in 2014).

A special point for most photographers who travel into the undiscovered parts of this magnificent country, 'India Is… Undiscovered’ reveals India's rich natural heritage to the world. Through documenting animals or landscapes, here's a theme that can encourage participants and viewers to UNDISCOVERED take a look away from the cities.
