The Oregon International Film Awards®, among Oregon's most prestigious film honors, are presented annually to independent filmmakers and screenwriters from around the world who produce unique and compelling films and screenplays in several competition categories. The Oregon International Film Awards recognizes the very best in contemporary domestic and international independent cinema and screenwriting.

Loch Ness Film Festival is a small grassroots film festival run as a scottish charity by volunteers that screen entertaining shorts films that are under 15 minutes over a weekend at the end of July each year and we also host a fun guerrilla style filmmaking afternoon.

We aim to screen the best shorts we receive either from our own backyard of the Highlands in Scotland to the other side of the world from budget to no budget.

Petaluma International Film Festival® (PIFF) is an annual event showcasing independent feature and short films from around the world.

The festival is open to all film genres.

We hope everyone has fun and enjoys themselves at the festival but a few suggestions...

Please submit as soon as possible. The process goes a lot smoother if we are not sent a lot of films at the last minute. THANKS!
This is a short film festival for films 20 minutes or less in length.

This year, we are strongly encouraging entrants to submit a link to private YouTube or Vimeo screener not a hard-copy of the film. If you must submit a hardcopy please use a paper DVD sleeve. When packaging, protect the DVD in a padded envelope, or similar package. Please DO NOT send your dvd in a slim, jewel, or standard DVD case, they almost always break in shipping.

Please note that the ONLY difference in the early submission deadline versus the final submission deadline is the fee discount. The submission process and consideration by the Programming Committee is not affected by the date you submit your film as long as it is postmarked by our final deadline - your chances are equal regardless of the day your film makes it into our offices, as long as it is postmarked by the final deadline!

ALL films submitted to the festival are seen and scored by two or more different programmers. All films that have a higher average, or are a favorite of a programmer, go on to final deliberations. GeNerk selects its films by majority vote and nothing is offered early acceptance.

Film Submissions are non-returnable for any reason.

If a film is accepted, entrants will be solely responsible for delivering their exhibition video materials to and from the festival venue. Complete press kits will be needed as soon after notification as possible. GeNerk cannot be held liable for your exhibition print/video materials which are lost or damaged.

Das AVANCA Film Festival wurde 2011 im Wettbewerb der vom ICA/Kulturministerium gesponserten unterstützenden Filmfestivals mit dem ersten Platz ausgezeichnet.

In all den Jahren wurde ein zusätzliches thematisches Programm eingeführt, das der Vorführung bedeutender Werke des zeitgenössischen Kinos Raum bietet, die angemessen auf Anliegen und/oder klar definierte Ziele zugeschnitten sind.

Die AVANCA ist als Ort für Workshops bekannt, die von Persönlichkeiten des Weltkinos geleitet werden, und da sie mehr als eine „Meisterklasse“ ist, hat sie eine einzigartige Kinopraxis ermöglicht. Jedes Jahr veranstalten wir Workshops, an denen Teilnehmer aus ganz Europa teilnehmen. Die Medien haben geschrieben, dass dies der größte europäische Bereich für professionelle Workshops im Bereich Kino ist.

AVANCA ist das einzige Festival, das einen internationalen Kinowettbewerb mit Werken aus den Bereichen Fernsehen, Video und neue Medien veranstaltet, wobei das besondere Anliegen darin besteht, die besten Weltproduktionen jeder Kategorie auszustellen.

Seit der ersten Ausgabe akzeptiert das Festival nur noch nie dagewesene Filme in Portugal.

Der Wettbewerb zur Weltpremiere ist in unserem Land einzigartig und war nur möglich, weil Avanca zu einem Treffpunkt für unveröffentlichte Autoren und Filme von großer Qualität wurde. Filme, die unabhängig von der eingereichten Kategorie auf dem Festival ihre Weltpremiere feiern, nehmen ebenfalls am Weltpremierenwettbewerb teil.

AVANCA ist das portugiesische Festival mit dem höchsten Anteil an weltweit unveröffentlichten Filmen, die hier zum ersten Mal gezeigt werden.

Seit 2010 organisieren wir die internationale Filmkonferenz AVANCA | CINEMA, die zur wichtigsten Konferenz im Bereich Kino auf der Iberischen Halbinsel geworden ist. Diese Konferenz bringt Redner und Teilnehmer aus der ganzen Welt zusammen.
Thematische Ausstellungen, Buchausgaben, bibliographische Präsentationen und verschiedene Projekte haben die letzten 10 Jahre von AVANCA mit der Qualität geprägt, die das Festival und die Teilnehmer natürlich erwarten.

The New Urbanism Film Festival is a film festival with a purpose. We want to encourage audiences to think about how they can make their cities and towns a better place. If your film addresses issues in that area, we'd like to see it.

After the screenings, audiences are invited to dialogue with leading urban thinkers about the issues raised during the movie and discuss current local projects.

The festival also offers lots of special events, workshops, tours and classes that help audiences take lessons from the film and apply them to their hometown. We strongly encourage filmmakers to attend the festival.

Curt.Doc Vidreres International Short Documentary Festival is a cultural event devoted to short documentary film making. The aim of the Festival is to be an exhibition platform and meeting point for the general public, professionals and filmmakers from around the world, promoting documentaries and their makers in a innovative and accessible format.

Das Internationale Filmfestival „Cinema Povero“ steht allen offen: reiche Filmemacher, arme Filmemacher jeden Geschlechts und jeder Religion sind willkommen, sofern sie mit einem begrenzten Budget eine schöne, originelle Idee entwickelt haben.

Jetzt im 24. Jahr hat sich das internationale Kurzfilmfestival mit 24 fps den Ruf erworben, einige der einzigartigsten und herausforderndsten Ausstellungsprogramme auf dem Festivalkurs zu präsentieren.

Die Mission von 24 fps ist es, studentische und unabhängige Filmemacher zu feiern und zu ermutigen. Die öffentlichen Screening-Programme des Festivals sollen den Schöpfer genauso hervorheben wie die Arbeit selbst. Alle ausgestellten Filme werden von einem Kommentator vorgestellt, und anwesende Filmemacher haben die Möglichkeit, am Ende der Ausstellung ihres Films mit dem Festivalpublikum zu sprechen.

Die Filme werden als Teil drei kuratierte Programme ausgestellt. Alle Filme werden im Ausstellungsort des Festivals gezeigt, dem Wahrzeichen Paramount Theatre, das im US-amerikanischen Nationalen Register of Historic Places aufgeführt ist.

Wir sind ein internationales Kurzfilmfestival, das das spirituelle Kino mit einer universellen Sprache zum Ausdruck bringt, das sich mit inneren Angelegenheiten des Menschen befasst, ein Kino des Unsichtbaren, das die Essenz des Tiefen und Transzendenten in introspektiven und reflektierenden Geschichten einfängt; mit Fragen und Antworten über das Leben. Jede Geschichte ist eine von innen heraus geerntete Frucht und symbolisiert 9 spirituelle Werte, die für uns grundlegend sind: Liebe, Freude, Frieden, Geduld, Sanftheit, Freundlichkeit, Treue, Demut und Selbstbeherrschung.

SEXUALITÄT ALS HAUPTMUSE IN KUNSTWERKEN

Das Festival ist eine Veranstaltung voller Farben und Emotionen, die die Sinne erschüttern.

La Boca Erotica möchte zunächst qualitativ hochwertige Filme präsentieren, die auf ungezwungene, engagierte, lustige, gewagte und mutige Art die vorhandenen Beziehungen zeigen: Sinnlichkeit, Erotik, Liebe, Verführung, Begierde, Leidenschaft, Lust, Eifersucht, Konflikte und alles, was mit der Annäherung und Kommunikation zwischen den Geschlechtern zu tun hat.

Wir wollen eine transversale Vision der Erotik anbieten. Gleichzeitig fragen wir uns nach der Bedeutung des Wortes in einer vielfältigen Gesellschaft.

Eine Erforschung der Sexualität aus sozialer Sicht und ohne geschlechtsspezifische Barrieren.

Das Festival diskutiert über Politik, Bildung und Gesellschaft und nimmt dabei die Sexualität als Ausgangspunkt.

VERANSTALTER

Der Kulturverein Time & Memory organisiert die vierzehnte Ausgabe des Kurzfilmfestivals „SHORT TO SOUTH“, das vom 20. bis 21. Juni 2026 in Polla (SA), ITALIEN, im Auditorium „Holy Nicolicchio“ stattfindet.

Das 2011 gegründete Prokuplje Short Film Festival ist das jüngste Filmfestival in Serbien. In Prokplje findet eine Veranstaltung statt, bei der das Publikum das Beste aus den Bereichen Dokumentarfilm, Experiment, Animation und Fiktion aus der ganzen Welt sehen kann. Tausende von Filmen aus der ganzen Welt kommen an der Adresse des Festivals an, und das spiegelt sich auch in den zahlreichen Zuschauern in Prokuplje, aber auch in anderen Städten Serbiens und der Region wider, da das Team eine Tour organisiert, bei der die besten Filme in über 30 Städten präsentiert werden. Das Fehlen des Kinos sowie das Fehlen eines Films als Unterrichtsfach in der Schule hindern junge Menschen daran, etwas über diese Kunst zu lernen.

Um etwas von diesem Inhalt zu sehen, müssen die jungen Leute nach Nis oder sogar nach Belgrad gehen. Dies ist eine Gelegenheit, die neuesten Kurzfilmerfolge aus der ganzen Welt in Prokuplje zu sehen. In den letzten Jahren ist laut Untersuchungen die Besucherzahlen bei Festivals auf der ganzen Welt zurückgegangen. Aus diesem Grund und aufgrund der Einführung des Films bei jungen Menschen haben wir die Arbeit an alle Grund- und weiterführenden Schulen mitgebracht, die potenzielle Zuschauer sind und durch die Präsentation von Festivalfilmen und die Diskussion über die Bedeutung des Festivals belebt werden. Neben der Arbeit mit jungen Menschen in Prokuplje ist der Film Club Prokuplje der erste, der damit beginnt, das Publikum aus den ländlichen Gebieten zu animieren, die von allen Veranstaltungen, insbesondere kulturellen Veranstaltungen, völlig ausgeschlossen sind.

Ischia Film Festival is the heart of the project “Cinema & Territory’’ created by Michelangelo Messina for the no-profit organization Association Art Movie & Music, whose purpose is to spread among a vast audience unedited audio-visual works that highlight the cultural identity of a place through the movie screening and locations.
Every year the festival presents a selection of films from all over the world: all of them emphasize the cultural identity or the landscape's features of a certain territory through the audiovisual narration. A jury of personages of the film industry awards the best films among the ones selected for the official competition.
During the Festival week, in addition to the competition's film screenings, there is a special section about "denied location" and there also are omages to important figures of the international film industry. The Festival is an important part of a wider project called "Cinema and territory" that aims at protecting cultural and landscape peculiarities of territories in order to promote them through the audiovisual medium.

KloosterKino is the place to be for animated shorts in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Three times a year we show the best animated shorts from all over the world in a friendly setting. The screenings take place in a historic cloister, which dates back to 1909, and are not subject to admission.

KloosterKino shows work by young filmmakers, but also pays attention to classic animated film. Throughout the year we also work with other festivals and cultural organizations to arrange screenings of animated shorts.

But why animated shorts? Well, first of all, because we love them! But also because too few animated shorts are shown theatrically in the Netherlands. KloosterKino wants to show animation in all its diversity: from stop-motion to CGI, from narrative to abstract, homegrown and from far away. In doing so, we hope to aid in the diffusion of the artistic animated short.

We intend to be an alternative to the larger animation festivals by offering screenings which are both accessible and challenging. We stand for high quality animated film in welcoming surroundings. Our target audience is not just the animation aficionado, but also those who normally don’t watch animation, but are open to a surprising and stimulating program of films.
