RURÉFILOS, International Film and Rural World Festival è un punto di incontro multidisciplinare in cui, attraverso il linguaggio audiovisivo, viene fornito uno spazio per il dibattito e la riflessione creativa sul passato, il presente e il futuro del mondo rurale.

Spanish and international Fillmakers are invited in the areas of film and video to participate with works whose themes are related to two main lines on which the festival is founded:

1 - On the one hand, following the spirit of the documentary "Land without bread" by Luis Buñuel, will receive critical productions or deepen social and human problems, not only in Las Hurdes but in all types of cultures and territories.

2 - On the other, taking into account the natural environment and richness of the region, will be called works that address issues related to the preservation of the environment, defense of ecosystems and life issues in isolated regions.

Il nostro Shorts The Shorts Screening Session è un mini festival di cortometraggi che opera come pop-up, in collaborazione con partner di proiezione in tutto il mondo. Ogni anno Our Shorts Theor Shorts programma 12 sessioni di proiezione di cortometraggi che vengono proiettati in sale da varsity auditorium a sale cinematografiche. I nostri Shorts loro Shorts è la più grande rete di cortometraggi emergenti in Asia meridionale. The International “Festival International du Film Panafricain” (FIFP) in Cannes is a platform that exhibits cinema and its professions, arts and entrepreneurship, as well as innovation, culture and events.

As a driving force behind the PanAfrican Cinema and Arts industry, the Festival is constantly seeking specific solutions for the development of PanAfrican Cinema and Arts.
With a booming Pan-African market (from Africa to the Americas through the Caribbean, Europe and Asia), the Festival benefits from expertise in the development of cinema and Fashion as well as the development of cultural affairs.

Since its creation in 2006, the DIKALO AWARDS (meaning « message » in the Cameroonian language Douala) has been awarded by a professional jury for the best short and feature films (fiction), the best long and short documentaries, the Dikalos Peace Award, as well as the best actor and actress awards.

The FIFP is a felt moment. It is a unique experience where PanAfrican cinema and African cultures and those of its diaspora around the world are the central focus. An exceptional energy is felt.

Since 2018, the FIFP in Cannes has included along with its projections, a market: the Entrepreneurship Salon for Culture and Well-Being. The objective is to enhance the economy of PanAfrican cinema.

A few years from now, the market which features pan-African arts will generate considerable sums. « Tomorrow is now ». This enormous potential must be brought forward into the light.

CENTRAL-DOC INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTAR FILM FESTIVAL Quarta edizione CENTRAL-DOC, Blackbird Films e Huitzil Multidisciplinary Creation Laboratory A.C. si svolgono dal 2 al 6 dicembre 2019 nello stato di Tlaxcala, Messico. Le opere saranno proiettate in spazi pubblici, indipendenti, istituzioni educative e centri culturali, essendo questi locali, nazionali o internazionali. Questa quarta edizione della Mostra è accompagnata dal tema CULTURA, IDENTITÀ E RESISTENZA... 500 ANNI FA. Un tema che cerca di rendere visibile ma soprattutto di rivendicare il ruolo delle popolazioni indigene attraverso i diversi documentari che compongono questa edizione e che sono destinati a ruotarsi su temi particolari come le origini, le tradizioni, il territorio, la lingua, i diritti, tra molti altri. Al CENTRAL-DOC ci aspettiamo documentari con storie che ci permettono di mettere in discussione e valorizzare ciò che ci rende ciò che siamo, da dove veniamo e quali sono le nostre radici.

InDocumentari è un festival cinematografico interamente dedicato al genere documentario, che si svolge nella città di Sabadell. La sua missione è promuovere e mostrare il cinema documentario come strumento per l'espressione artistica, la riflessione sociale e l'osservazione critica della realtà contemporanea. Il festival presenta una selezione diversificata di cortometraggi e lungometraggi documentari provenienti da tutto il mondo, promuovendo lo scambio culturale e il dialogo tra registi, pubblico e professionisti dell'audiovisivo.

The Green Me GmbH is a Berlin based company and the organizer of the annual environmental film festival called the Green Me Global Festival for Sustainability. This festival was initiated in 2008 by Nicolai Niemann, and has over the years transformed from a lounge to a full blown film festival with three major sections: Film – the festival offers a platform for the green films, green publicity and green economy. Movies with environmentally related topics from all over the world are evaluated and screened; Congress – on this platform, professional minds engage in panel discussions on diverse environmental topics; Marketplace– where companies and NGOs represent themselves and exhibit their products and services; Gala Night- where awards are given out to the award winning films. Finalising each festival is the award night, during which the best films from different categories receive awards. Since 2016, the Green Me Global Festival has been hosted in four continents and five cities, including Berlin, Germany; Lagos, Nigeria; Tehran, Iran; Cannes, France; Los Angeles, USA.

IL GIJÓN/XIXÓN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (FICX) mira a presentare un'ampia e variegata selezione di cinema d'autore attualmente prodotto in tutto il mondo e incentrato in particolare su film innovativi e registi emergenti. Cinema di alta qualità, personale, giovane, audace e indipendente a livello creativo. Durante il processo di selezione, il Festival darà la priorità a quelle opere di interesse che hanno la loro anteprima mondiale, internazionale, europea o spagnolo alla FICX, nonché a quelle che non hanno accordi di distribuzione commerciale nel territorio spagnolo.

The Outlet Dance Project is an annual festival of artists who identify or have identified as women, sharing their vision through film, site-specific dance, and work created for the stage. It is one of the largest, most popular, and well-attended dance festivals in New Jersey. In partnership with Grounds For Sculpture – an internationally renowned contemporary sculpture park – the festival celebrates the intersections of visual and moving arts, exploring relationships between sculpture and dance, between place and movement.

Art. 1 — Premessa e oggetto
L’Associazione i Ken APS ETS, in occasione della XIX edizione di OMOVIES – International LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, indice un concorso internazionale destinato a opere audiovisive che raccontino orientamenti sessuali, identità ed espressioni di genere, corpi, relazioni, famiglie, comunità e culture LGBTQIA+, con approcci liberi, plurali e intersezionali.

Particolare attenzione è rivolta al questioning, inteso non come una condizione incompleta o meramente transitoria, ma come esperienza legittima di ascolto, ricerca e autodeterminazione. OMOVIES riconosce il diritto di interrogarsi sul proprio orientamento sessuale, sulla propria identità o espressione di genere, di non disporre immediatamente di una definizione, di modificare nel tempo le parole con cui ci si racconta o di non adottare alcuna etichetta. Il cinema può restituire dignità a questi percorsi, sottraendoli alla pressione della certezza, alla patologizzazione e alle rappresentazioni che li riducono a confusione, fragilità o semplice passaggio verso un'identità ritenuta definitiva.

Il Festival riconosce inoltre le culture queer come un patrimonio plurale di memorie, pratiche artistiche, linguaggi, forme di resistenza, cura, parentela e costruzione di comunità. In questa prospettiva, queer non indica soltanto una categoria identitaria o un termine-ombrello, ma anche uno sguardo critico capace di interrogare ciò che viene presentato come naturale, universale o immutabile. Sono quindi valorizzate opere che ampliano le possibilità del visibile e del raccontabile, mettono in discussione binarismi, stereotipi, gerarchie e rapporti di potere e fanno emergere le intersezioni tra genere e orientamento sessuale, origine, razzializzazione, disabilità, età, classe sociale, fede e condizione migratoria, senza trasformare la complessità delle persone in nuove definizioni rigide.

Il Festival è programmato dal 7 al 14 dicembre 2026 e si svolgerà in modalità ibrida, con proiezioni ed eventi in presenza a Napoli e una programmazione online. Sedi, calendario e modalità di accesso saranno pubblicati sul sito ufficiale www.omovies.it.

The Latino and Iberian Film Festival at Yale (LIFFY), produced by the Council for Latin American and Iberian Studies at the MacMillan Center at Yale, began as a film series in the late 1990s, then collaborated with the New England Festival of Iberian Cinema (NEFIAC) for five years (2010- 2014), and was established as The Latino and Iberian Film Festival at Yale (LIFFY) in 2015.

The festival is an inclusive event sponsored by Yale for the whole Greater New Haven community. It is free and open to the general public. We strive to promote cultural awareness and understanding through the screening of films from many different countries where Spanish and Portuguese are spoken, and by inviting filmmakers, actors, and producers to converse with our audience. It is our premise that knowledge promotes respect for diversity, and unity amongst peoples of divergent backgrounds. All films are screened with English subtitles.

THE INTERNACIONAL ALTERNATIVE MEDIA FILM FESTIVAL (FICMA) has as its objective to offer a space for the exhibition of quality films made with non-professional cameras, cell phones, handy cams, sport cameras, smart watches, tablets, etcetera, looking to promote the talent and creativity of those who have the desire of taking their stories to the screen but do not count with the big budgets that filmmaking often requires.

The Boston Science Fiction Film Festival is an 11-day cinematic event held at the historic Somerville Theatre from February 9th to the 19th. The 2018 edition marks our 43rd anniversary as the oldest science fiction film festival.

The first nine days is a traditional film festival. Films submitted and curated from around the world are screened, whether they be features, shorts, or webisodes. Plus we have workshops, parties or anything else that seems appropriate. Here at BostonSciFi we emphasize emerging directors with distinct visions.

The Festival concludes with The Marathon, a.k.a., “The ‘Thon”, a 24-hour orgiastic motion picture endurance test featuring classic, new and schlock films. Think of it as binge viewing with 750 close friends. It starts at noon on the 18th and ends at noon on President’s Day.

Boston SciFi is the oldest genre fest in the country and one of the oldest in the world. Being in Boston has many advantages, it is a world class city. Boston is one of the world’s best college towns (hello Harvard, MIT, BU, BC, Tufts and more). As such, BostonSciFi endeavors to reflect all of that in the festival. Then toss in, we are housed in the classic 1914 Somerville Theatre in the almost too hip Davis Square, and you can see why FilmFreeway touted us as one of the Top 100 Film Festivals.

If you’re a filmmaker, a film fan or a simply lover of science fiction, the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival is fresh, vital, and more importantly, a fun place to screen, watch and enjoy film!

The Green-Go International Short Film Contest aims to gather environmentally and socially conscious youngsters to organize the contest and the festival on one hand, and on the other hand, to inspire youngsters to creatively express their ideas in a
short film format. With the shorts, we aim to raise awareness on environmental and social problems at global, European and national level. With Green-Go festival, we wish to create the basis of a sustainable green film event that activates both youngsters and the civil society, attracts interested people and stakeholders and generates dialogues within the whole society about key eco-social questions.

Within the film contest, we accept shorts in three categories to reflect on European awareness, global environmental and social problems and the connection between biodiversity and society.

The Green-Go Short Film Contest is generously supported by the European Commission.

This year we are awaiting short films (and Testimonies!) in the following three categories:

2. The last day on Earth? (Earth's overshoot day)
3. Your Europe in 2050 (EU budget)
