OBJECTIVES: This non-competitive event aims to be a meeting place for independent film production and the public, we encourage the creation and production of audiovisual filmmakers from all over the world and provide a space to allow diffusion of contemporary and cultural film productions.

THEME: Works will be accepted whose aesthetic and thematic proposal refer to the cultural identity of the places of origin of the filmmakers, providing entertainment and cultural knowledge for the audience.

O FESTIVAL CURTA CINEMA - Festival Internacional de Curtas do Rio de Janeiro – é exclusivamente dedicado à exibição e à promoção de obras audiovisuais de curta-metragem. O Festival exibe trabalhos finalizados em suportes digitais, com duração máxima de 30 minutos, e tem caráter competitivo e informativo. A programação do Festival Curta Cinema 33a edição será constituída por: Competição Internacional e Nacional, Panorama Latino-Americano e Carioca, Panorama Infanto-Juvenil e Programas Especiais. O Curta Cinema é um Festival que qualifica os ganhadores do Grande Prêmio da Competição Nacional e Internacional a pleitearem uma indicação ao Oscar, premiação da Academia de Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas dos Estados Unidos da América. Além da exibição de filmes, o Festival também promove workshops, palestras e debates. As inscrições de filmes para as competições, panoramas e programas especiais são gratuitas.

O Festival de Cinema do Mar Negro é um evento anual que concede novos talentos inspiradores e motivadores. O Roca Film Festival é um projeto cultural sem fins lucrativos organizado na vila de Roca (Guitiriz), que projeta filmes, documentários e curtas-metragens com música temática, ao ar livre e com o objetivo de energizar a vida cultural de nossa vila e seus arredores.

The eighth edition of Ventana Oscura, will take place on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 October 2016 at the Forum of FNAC Callao within the events of the Madrid Gothic Week VIII. During the event the selected works will be screened, and this event, only a sample and in no case a competitive contest.

BUDAFEST is a Budapest film festival dedicated to the glocal culture. 2016 is the first edition. It will be the feast of the brotherwood of two people and of two movie worlds: the Italian and the Hungarian.

We will connect the world with Budapest and Budapest with the world: we have the Magyar section and the international one. O FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINEMA DE GIJÓN/XIXÓN (FICX) visa mostrar uma ampla e variada seleção de cinema de autor atualmente produzido em todo o mundo e especialmente focado em filmes inovadores e cineastas emergentes. Cinema de alta qualidade, pessoal, jovem, ousado e independente em um nível criativo. SODOC ( Solo Documentary Film Festival ) is documentary film festival. Sodoc dedicated to showcasing the spirit, passion and skills of independent filmmakers in the world to the audience in Solo, Central Java. The festival is to be held in the city of Solo ( Surakarta ), Central Java Indonesia, in October 2016. We only accept documentary film. We have screening regular every month. And this is the first festival documentary in Solo.

O Centro Cultural Candiani e Circuito de Cinema da Cidade de Veneza anunciar a primeira edição do Mesthriller Film Fest, um evento que, na quarta edição do Mesthriller, visa promover a cultura do thriller/noir/crime história também em filmes.

The festival has for 5 years been a launching pad for cross promoting what Philly has to offer the film world and what the world has to offer for the budding Philadelphia Film Community.

Event runs for 4 hours, with a big networking party going on in the lobby area. News outlets and press are active at this event. Celebrities from all walks of life have shown up at this event. We are only accepting online screeners. There are a variety of ways to submit your screener to us (YouTube, Vimeo, or through one of the online submission services). This will SAVE YOU MONEY!

The Green-Go International Short Film Contest aims to gather environmentally and socially conscious youngsters to organize the contest and the festival on one hand, and on the other hand, to inspire youngsters to creatively express their ideas in a
short film format. With the shorts, we aim to raise awareness on environmental and social problems at global, European and national level. With Green-Go festival, we wish to create the basis of a sustainable green film event that activates both youngsters and the civil society, attracts interested people and stakeholders and generates dialogues within the whole society about key eco-social questions.

Within the film contest, we accept shorts in three categories to reflect on European awareness, global environmental and social problems and the connection between biodiversity and society.

The Green-Go Short Film Contest is generously supported by the European Commission.

This year we are awaiting short films (and Testimonies!) in the following three categories:

1. Build green, live green (Green infraestructure)
2. The last day on Earth? (Earth's overshoot day)
3. Your Europe in 2050 (EU budget)

Shorts made only in Latin America or Latin American filmmakers shooting in the world.

Mission.

Sochi Film Festival is a year-round cultural and educational organization dedicated to fostering better communication between people of diverse cultures through the art of film and the moving image. We serve Sochi’s diverse and under-served citizenry by providing access to world-class cinema. We aim to enrich Russian cultural environment by presenting film in contexts that encourage discussion and debate.

Through the SOCHI Film Festival, our Education Program, and our year-round programming and membership program, we enhance the cultural assets of the city of Sochi by exhibiting film from around the world. We also strive to promote a deeper understanding of a diverse body of cultures, thus contributing to Sochi’s identity and orientation as an international city.

This year’s theme for our Film Festival is “New Filmmakers” and should address new beginnings: as new filmmakers, new MBAs, new scripts. We are looking for creative quality feature and short films that are consistent with and/or celebrate the theme of the festival.

A III Mostra Agrícola de Cinema Orgânico tá chegando!

Acontecerá em Santa Rita - Distrito de Serra Talhada (PE) - uma Mostra de Cinema com a programação inteiramente pensada para os agricultores da região.

Além da exibição dos filmes à noite, durante o dia acontecerão as duas Oficinas da MACO para os inscritos selecionados: "Semeando um Cineclube; a prática e o efeito" e "Novas Práticas Agrícolas".
