New Media Film Festival® is a Los Angeles cultural event devoted to the creators who shape how we see, feel, and understand the world. For more than a decade, we have welcomed artists, innovators, and storytellers whose work expands the possibilities of narrative expression — whether through classic cinematic craft or emerging technologies that invite audiences to experience story in new dimensions.

Our guiding principle is simple and deeply held:
We are fair to all creators, in all ages, all cultures, and all media.

Each year, the festival becomes a gathering place for imagination — a space where curiosity is celebrated, new ideas are explored, and creators from around the globe share work that reflects the complexity and beauty of human experience. Our stages have welcomed Nobel Laureates, Oscar® winners, Emmy® legends, Grammy® icons, bestselling authors, pioneering technologists, and creators whose voices continue to influence contemporary culture.

Artists from more than 50 countries have shared their work with us. Many have gone on to secure distribution, sign development deals, collaborate with studios, or expand their creative practice through connections made at the festival.

We welcome all formats — cinematic, immersive, experimental, online, distributed, or still in post.
If it is story, it has a place here.

Experimental Short films from around the World will be shown in the first Alternative Video Festival. There is nothing else like it. Visitors will be able to see the best experimental films over a THREE-day period.

6TH MY MUMBAI INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL

UNIVERSAL MARATHI brings in an opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their talent. Universal Marathi has invited short film entries from professionals and students across the globe for the three-day annual My Mumbai International Short Film Festival in its sixth edition scheduled to be held in 2nd week of October 2018.

There are various categories for short film entries I.e. Social awareness, Animation, Fiction short film, international Foreign Shortfilm, Music video, and Documentary. Short film festivals have acquired a greater importance, eliciting a good response across the world. The event aims at exposing young directors to the global film color.

Filmmakers and students from across the world have been invited to send their entries which would be curated by industry experts and screened at the 6th My Mumbai International Short Film festival in Mumbai.

The Globe International Silent Film Festival
"Where Pictures create an international language."

Our goal is to focus on the picture as the basic structure of cinema as an art.

We believe the silent era of cinema (1895-1930) has made the picture and mise en scène richer and more powerful. Although by introducing of sound in cinema we've been passed that era a long time ago but still silent cinema is carrying a great part of avant-garde and artistic films. GISFF aimed to gather, screen and respect these creative films.

The Mashup Cinema ... but what is this devilry?
Mashup duplicates, combines, re-appropriates and transforms an unlimited catalog of images, sounds, ideas and patterns available on the internet.

In short, the mashup cinema tries to reverse our old creative habits to give a big boost to our innovation.
The festival created to reward these new borrowed masterpieces is the Mashup Film Festival! So come and rethink the theme of the 2020 festival:

インディフィルム・フェストは、ライブアクション、アニメ、ドラマ、コメディ、ナラティブ、ドキュメンタリー、ホラー、SF、エクスペリメンタルなど、カテゴリーやジャンルに関係なく、最高のインディペンデント長編短編映画や短編映画を探しています。 毎年開催される映画祭では、通常20本の長編映画と80本の短編映画を上映し、そのうち 90% 以上が応募作品によるものです。

インディ・フィルム・フェストは、常に成長と変化に富み、2004年に3日間のインディアナポリス国際映画祭として始まりました。 私たちは2006年にすぐに10日間の形式に拡大し、2009年に映画祭を夏に移し、2014年にインディ映画祭に名称を変更しました。そして2018年からは元の春に帰国しました。 2020年と2021年に開催された2つの主たるバーチャル映画祭に続き、5日間の対面映画祭として戻ってきました。その後、受賞者のバーチャル上映と対面上映が続きました。
