The festival is a social tool viewable and controlled. It is an annual event, managed in a friendly network in cities across the continent, which displays unpublished, experimental or out of the system, linking non-conventional spaces, creating a common grid and a shared mission, fruit of a collective intelligence and the freedom of speech.
The festival is a social tool for visibility and coordination. It is an annual event, produced in a network, in several cities of the continent, which allows to display unpublished audiovisual productions, experimental or outside the industrial system and, in coordination, to contact non-traditional exhibition spaces generating a common grid and a fruit object / text of the collective Intelligence put into operation and manifestation.
This year the festival is not absent, we believe that it is more than ever necessary to maintain the premises for which the festival was created, understanding us as a counter-information tool, during these 14 years the dynamics of the festival has traveled unusual sites for what is understood as the official circuit of film festivals in conventional rooms for projections but in this way we have created walls, floors, cultural centers, neighborhoods, squares, streets, settlements, meeting spaces to see what is happening underneath the surface.
This edition has 2 OBJECTIVES
JOIN US
It is 16 years to accompany the under scene, this space that changes year after year, which takes new form when it is possible to see what is being filmed accompanying the new languages of this time. This experimental scene began to leave experiences that we were channeling in the conurbano, in the occupation and the promotion, in if in sharing, that nourished something that today is a few steps and that is one of the great objectives that has this edition 2024 .
we are already away from the commercial circuits or day-to-day broadcasting and we are looking for the construction of the cinema school in the Covi neighborhood of Solano, where we hold the film festival and believe that the TRECE will be a great kick for this experience that we support and we have been part since its inception.
ITINERANT
The productions chosen, will be part of the retrospective that we will be projecting in a route that will unite different points of Argentina.
The film festival will become itinerant.
Here we see cinema, we talk about cinema, we make cinema. We experiment with the form and structure of the festival, always. We want to rotate the transparency of the impeccable narratives. We are self-management, we have great reasons to criticize from a clear political position our sociocultural context of audiovisual production. We seek to see that which is hidden beyond the superficial, without red carpets.

You know it better than anyone: making a film of less than 4 minutes requires a lot of talent and creativity. That's why the Très Court has been honoring them for more than twenty years with its International Festival, which takes place simultaneously in June in about fifty places on the five continents. The screenings take place exclusively on the big screen, in theatres or outdoors, for an audience as faithful as it is fervent.
The Très Courts are divided into six selections, two of which are in Competition: International Competition, Women's Words Competition, French Selection, Family Selection, Documentary Selection, and the Laugh(before the end of the world) Selection.
Whether you are a novice or a professional, classic or avant-garde, as long as your film does not exceed 4 minutes, do not hesitate to try your luck, especially since the registration of your film(s) is free. All genres are accepted: fiction, documentary, animation, CGI, drama, comedy, documentary and even gore or horror films.
The First Buenos Aires International Kinky Film Festival has an unmistakable purpose: to give visibility and celebrate a culture that has historically been marginalized and stigmatized.
This festival is not simply a cinematic event but a space for meeting, exploration, and artistic expression for those who live and create within the kink spectrum.
Our mission is to challenge and dismantle the prejudices that often surround kinky and BDSM practices by presenting authentic, diverse stories that capture the multiple dimensions of this culture. Each film selected for the festival will provide a window into the realities and
experiences of people within the community, offering perspectives that are rarely represented in mainstream cinema.
This Series Festival, called Queer Season, seeks to become a place where to expose the importance of making the LGTB + collective visible in a natural and real way through the series that are broadcast in our country and its great influence on the millennial generation as well as on the rest of society.
In this edition we want to open the call to new and young creators who have projects of series with an LGTB + theme and can present their works to the contest where a committee will be in charge of evaluating and selecting the best works that will be broadcast during the festival under certain criteria.
The Dead And SudBuried Horrorthon began life way back in 2016 in darkest Suffolk in the small market town of Sudbury as a celebration of classic horror movies. Over just one day, seven such classics were thrown back on the big screen in the intimate venue of The Quay Theatre. Taking place in a town without an actual cinema to fulfil our dream to see these movies on a big screen, the first Horrorthon was planned around a birthday so just in case it failed to bring enough horror fans obsessed enough to sit and watch non-stop horror all day long, the event could be written off as a present to ourselves!
Fortunately, a small but perfectly formed crowd came, enjoyed and endured over 13 hours of wonderful motion pictures giving birth to our very own franchise! We believe that movies should be seen on a big screen with big sound and with a crowd to be truly enjoyed which is the real reason the Horrorthon keeps coming back every year!
We returned in 2017, 2018 and 2019 bombarding a growing crowd with more classic horror movies and adding giveaways, discounts from local businesses and more! Sadly due to Covid, our 2020 was postponed but we created a virtual event to bridge the gap to 2021 using the Eventive platform and a host of brand new movies and shorts over an entire weekend!
Returning to the real world after the pandemic, we brought in our biggest crowd yet for our fifth event to watch a weekend of 7 brand new features (2 UK premieres) including Wyvern Hill, It Came From Below, Alien On Stage, Sweetie You Won’t Believe It, Tales Of The Creeping Death, Werewolf Castle and Box with 4 live Director/Cast Q&A’s following the screening, 7 classic horror movies featuring The Lost Boys, The Changeling, The Howling, Pieces, Friday The 13th, Videodrome and [•REC] with video introductions from Joe Dante, Alex Winter and Sean S Cunningham plus 24 amazing shorts from all over the world.
The huge success of Horrorthon V led to an even bigger 3 day event for Horrorthon VI in 2022 featuring 8 classics including Deep Red, The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue, Return Of The Living Dead, The Fog and The Beyond, 8 festival circuit movies including The Creeping, Night Shift, Powertool Cheerleaders versus The Boyband Of The Living Dead, Do Not Disturb, The Outwaters, Super Z, Anthropophagus II, Feed Me and 19 brand new shorts plus the addition of food trucks and merchandise!
The seventh Horrorthon, Taste The Blood Of Dead And SudBuried was the biggest event to date with a bigger crowd than ever before! The 3-day event featured classics like Train To Busan, The Haunting, Death Line and Motel Hell, brand new movies Eight Eyes, Beaten To Death, How To Kill Monsters, The Moor, The Black Mass, The Pocket Film Of Superstitions, Lore and Punch and 19 new horror shorts!
The Eighth edition expanded with an earlier start and more movies - 18 features including Protein, The Invisible Raptor, Straight On Till Morning, The Last Video Store, Bogieville, Cara, The Well, Scared Shitless and Members Club plus 18 shorts, more Q&A's, more food trucks - just more everything!
We return in October 2025 with our the ninth edition in our usual home, The Quay Theatre in Sudbury, Suffolk. Come and join us!
