Digital Griffix film awards changed a bit over the years and is now an IMDB listed international online awards competition taking place each three months.

Each three months our jury determines the best films in each category. Note that we do NOT screen films online or onsite. The films are screened privately by the jury. Our goal is to help filmmakers take the next step in their career. Our jury is composed of award winning filmmakers who perfectly understand the hard work put in independent filmmaking !

Wollongong Film Festival is in its Inaugural year with many more to come. Wollongong Film festival is about celebrating Women in Film both on and off screen with all proceeds going to One Girl www.onegirl.org.au.

It is about giving a voice to Women Filmmakers and a voice to Women's stories.

Let's promote and award the talents of Women in the Australian and International film industry.

Wollongong Film Festival offers established and emerging Filmmakers an opportunity to showcase their various talents by accepting all film genres as long as a woman is in one of the following key positions on the film: Director, Producer, Writer, Lead female Protagonist, Editor, or Cinematographer.

Trouble Found Me
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Blacklight Film + Video Series is currently seeking submissions for the upcoming Trouble Found Me film screening on October 16th, 2016 at Sediment Arts in Richmond, VA.

We are seeking narrative short films that touch on subjects of broken innocence //shattering of the adolescent bubble. Bad Dreams. Bad Ideas. Poor Execution. Themes of the paranormal welcome, given the season!
Submissions must be under 15 minutes in length and all genres are accepted. Work can be traditional or experimental and can be created in any film/video medium (VHS, Super 8, DSLR, etc.). Multiple submissions are accepted.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: October 9th, 2016

We ask that applicants include in their submissions:

-title of the piece
-run time
-year the work was completed
-a data DVD or online link to view the piece (preferred)

Please include in your submission a $5 US submission fee (please attach screenshot of paypal

Coachella Valley International Film Festival is preparing for our first fantastic festival of independent filmmaking from April 28, 2017, under the stars.

CVIFF is dedicated to celebrating the works of independent filmmakers from around the world, and we pay special attention to ultra low-budget films by first and second-time directors.

The 11th edition of the One World Romania International Human Rights & Documentary Festival will take place between March 16 and March 25, 2018 in Bucharest. One World Romania is the first documentary film festival established in Bucharest as well as the only Romanian festival dedicated to human rights.

We invite you to submit your latest documentaries on any topic related to human rights. Short, medium, feature length as well as interactive documentaries, with any target audience, including children and adolescents, are accepted.

Concepiamo IBZCF come una finestra sul cinema contemporaneo, sulle sue nuove tendenze e sui creatori che contribuiscono con nuovi percorsi narrativi per creare film vivaci, necessari e moderni.
La decima edizione di IBZCF si svolgerà in 10 sedi nei cinque comuni dell'isola e online sulla piattaforma Filmin. Ibizacinefest rinnova il suo impegno per Ibiza e la sua cultura attraverso un programma di titoli nazionali e internazionali mai visti prima sull'isola, anteprime esclusive nelle Isole Baleari e in Spagna, attività rivolte ai professionisti, sezioni di cortometraggi per scoprire e promuovere talenti locali e delle Baleari e il nostro programma educativo con proiezioni speciali per creare nuovo pubblico.

Sarà dato spazio anche alla riflessione attraverso discussioni aperte sul rapporto tra il cinema e varie questioni socioculturali attuali.

I cortometraggi sono ancora una volta al centro dell'attenzione di IBZCF, ancora una volta in qualificazione ai Goya Awards 2026, ai Forqué Awards e ai Fugaz Awards, e collabora ancora una volta con l'European Film Academy al programma Shortfilms on Tour.

Oltre al Festival dal vivo, organizzeremo il nostro Workshop-Residenza Slow-Cinema con la proiezione simultanea di 15 cortometraggi, con il quale inonderemo la nostra isola di oltre 120 titoli di cinema contemporaneo.

Zinegoak è organizzato dall'Associazione Zinegoak e si svolgerà nella città di Bilbao, in Spagna, a giugno 2026.

Tutti i film che hanno un approccio alla diversità sessuale e di genere e alle famiglie LGTBQ+, che sono stati prodotti dopo il 1° gennaio 2024 e non sono mai stati trasmessi o distribuiti commercialmente nei Paesi Baschi.

Nell'ambito delle molteplici attività presentate e organizzate da Andares: Azioni cinematografiche, siamo lieti di presentare la quarta edizione del nostro Festival del cinema contemporaneo. Un'altra edizione breve, attenta e compatta per celebrare la cinefilia nell'autunno peruviano.

FECILI (International Cine Libre Fest) è nata come iniziativa culturale che ha come obiettivo la diffusione delle produzioni cinematografiche colombiane, latinoamericane e internazionali.

Essendo una piattaforma espositiva, pretendiamo di realizzare, formare ed educare le persone con diverse attività non formali da insegnare. Chiameremo le persone che vedono nel cinema d'arte e nel linguaggio audiovisivo la possibilità di incontrarsi, imparare, parlare e divertirsi.

Il Festival Internazionale Cine Libre è organizzato dalla Corporación Cine Libre, è nato come iniziativa culturale, guidata da giovani che vogliono che paesi e città diverse abbiano l'arte nel cuore. Questo Festival del Cinema si terrà a El Carmen de Viboral. Antioquia.

Feel The Reel is a monthly international film festival founded in Glasgow, United Kingdom. FTR is not only an online film festival, but also a festival with live screenings, our friends from Bucharest ShortCut Cinefest making this possible. Therefore, screenings will take place once a month and our winner will have the chance to be screened in the very heart of the dynamic and evergrowing Bucharest, in Romania - at Manasia Hub.

Lo scopo del festival si riferisce alla consapevolezza sia dei filtri esterni sullo schermo, inclusa la censura (commerciale, ideologica, estetica), sia dei filtri interni della percezione e della proiezione dello schermo, inclusa l'autocensura. NEFILTRAVANAE KINO è un'esplorazione dell'estetizzazione e della mercificazione nell'arte. Il prossimo obiettivo del festival è quello di esporre la complessità, la molteplicità e la varietà del cinema.

NEFILTRAVANAE KINO è un festival cinematografico organizzato dallo Short Movie Club, la piattaforma per progetti cinematografici. NEFILTRAVANAE KINO è un festival qualificato per l'ADAMI Media Prize. L'International Film Studies Conference si svolge contemporaneamente al festival cinematografico. In questo modo, la teoria e la pratica cinematografica sono integrate insieme al NEFILTRAVANAE KINO.

Originariamente il festival si svolgeva in Bielorussia, ma a causa della repressione politica e delle posizioni contro la guerra dichiarate pubblicamente, proiezioni ed eventi possono essere organizzati in diversi paesi. Prima di tutto in Lituania (Vilnius). Ad esempio, la decima edizione di Nefiltravanae Kino si è svolta a Berlino, Vilnius e Helsinki l'anno scorso. PROBLEMA DI ALIENAZIONE

Viviamo in un mondo di centri commerciali e cinema multisala. Vediamo che il cinema indipendente e l'arte non commerciale vanno alla periferia dell'attenzione del pubblico. Le attrazioni primitive sostituiscono la cinematografia. Il pubblico di Escape si sente alienato dietro il grande schermo. Quindi il cinema mainstream moderno fa parte di uno strumento di manipolazione che porta alla società dell'alienazione. Quindi la tendenza è che il cinema indipendente diventi più illeggibile per il vasto pubblico. Dovremmo capire il contesto del regista per comprendere il cinema indipendente. Ecco perché il concetto di NEFILTRAVANAE KINO implica la presenza fisica dei registi.

PROBLEMA DI SELEZIONE DEI FILM
I registi girano milioni di film. E migliaia di festival di cortometraggi organizzano proiezioni in tutto il mondo ogni anno. In media, diverse migliaia di film vengono presentati a un festival cinematografico. Quindi vari buoni film possono essere trascurati per qualsiasi motivo. Spesso selezionare la probabilità è come vincere alla lotteria. Di conseguenza, i registi non hanno alcun feedback. È un paradosso che nessuno possa sentirti nell'era di Internet! La cultura tradizionale predilige le attrazioni e la visione informale.

Inoltre, questa idea si basa sul problema della selezione dei film. Forse non sorprende che una persona, vale a dire il direttore del programma nella migliore delle ipotesi, o anche gli studenti delle scuole di cinema prendano una decisione preliminare sulla selezione di un film. La concordanza tra giudici o spettatori è più rara della differenza di background e gusti. Quindi la selezione o il giudizio possono essere unilaterali o superficiali. Non è male perché il direttore del programma ha un buon gusto e una sensibilità estetica, ovviamente. Ma abbiamo scoperto un'altra concezione di «cinema non filtrato». L'abbiamo confrontato con il metodo «il meglio del meglio». Questo modo aiuta a percepire l'idioma cinematografico senza il dettato dei curatori d'arte.

CELEBRAZIONE DEL CINEMA INDIPENDENTE
Quindi l'Unfiltered Cinema Film Festival cerca di evitare il «meglio del meglio» ma non lo ignora completamente, certo. Il festival seleziona sezioni di finzione, animazione, documentario, sperimentale e realtà virtuale. Una giuria premia il miglior film in ogni sezione. Il festival organizza le proiezioni nelle sale cinematografiche, nel Centro nazionale per le arti contemporanee e negli spazi artistici.

Il nostro obiettivo è riunire le persone nell'arte, dialogare per essere felici con una comunicazione intelligente. Il cinema è arte ma non sport. Il punto chiave del nostro progetto è stabilire una comunicazione tra il regista e il pubblico.

FIDIC 2017. V COCOA INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENT DANCE FESTIVAL

FIDIC is a biannual international independent festival that gathers international, regional and local artists in a dance event that seeks to promote artistic creation and production, research, support and exchange among colleagues. It is also an occasion to train the audience through reflection and debate meetings that are open to general public.
The festival will take place in the City of Buenos Aires from September 7th to 17th, and its program will feature both national and international shows, urban interventions, and research and exchange meetings. It will also offer spaces for collaborative productions between artists that are coming from different regions and seeking cultural exchange.
FIDIC has many different sections: international, regional and local shows that will take place both at conventional and unconventional settings, performances, spaces to reflect, meetings with producer artists, screen dance, video projections and clinics. In this edition, there will also be place for artists who address movement from a different perspective to show their work. In addition, the festival schedule includes an analysis exercise developed by an interdisciplinary team.
Screen Dance Section – Third Edition Registration is now open: June 9th to July 7th
Submissions after the given deadline will not be considered.

The third edition of the International Screen Dance Exhibition aims to disseminate and promote these expressions, fostering their production in Argentina and around the world.
Artists from any nationality are allowed to participate.

The choosing of the topic is free and authors can submit as many short films as they wish. If the screen dance video submitted is in any language other than Spanish, subtitles in Spanish must be included.
Video runtime limit: 15 minutes.

Call for entries and selection process

Call for entries includes the following categories:

• Screen dance as an artistic expression (with performers or animated)
• Videoclips developed from the choreographic movement
• Screen dance documentary

Registration of plays will not be considered.

Selection process is not competitive. Videos will be assessed by a judging panel. Results will be published on our website and social networks. Authors whose videos were selected will receive an e-mail with the proper information.
All selected videos will be included in the Festival’s video library and may be presented at different exhibitions organized during the year with exclusive cultural and or educational (not commercial) purposes.
Important: If the video is accepted, it will have to be shared through Dropbox or WeTransfer in .MOV or .MP4 h264 format, along with two pictures in high resolution and the signed statement.

Agreement

2017 Cocoa International Festival requests, together with the submission of the video for its possible inclusion in the exhibition, the author’s agreement with the terms of the Festival. It also requests the author’s agreement to reproduce and exhibit their creation/s during any of the Festival’s activities, such as exhibitions, catalogues, videos, brochures and other promotional action regarding the Festival exclusively. The artist takes all the responsibility before third parties for any kind of claim regarding the originality or authorship of the submitted project/s.

UFO – the unidentified film object

UFO – that stands for an evening filled with 15 different short movies of various genres, themes, and forms of presentation.

Short, yet elaborately enacted; symbolic and significant; focused and continually surprising.
The short film represents a striking format among film genres, as it is so diversely interpreted, maintained with passion and constantly received.

Makers of short films are challenged technically as well as in their artistry – the size provokes the craftsmanship by its shortness and at the same time serves as a canvas for cinematic experimentation and creative self-realization.

Since its establishment in 2005 the UFO – short film festival serves filmmakers from Germany and Europe – regarding especially the young talents – as a platform, to present their works for the first time in Leipzig.

Being held in january, the festival always commences the Year of Cinematic Art in Leipzig.

Il Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Lesbiche, Gay, Bisessuali, Transgender e Intersessuali (Cinema Movilh) presenta lungometraggi, cortometraggi e documentari più grandi e conosciuti del Cile, che si svolge ogni anno a Santiago e poi attraversa le regioni della diversità sessuale. Le opere locali o straniere possono essere proiettate al Festival previa postulazione nella forma indicata nelle presenti regole.

Il Festival della Videodance di Città del Messico, in collaborazione con Red Nacional de Arte, invita coreografi, registi, aziende e artisti visivi a registrare le loro opere alla sesta edizione della Fivideodanza, che si svolgerà dal 02 al 05 settembre 2021.

Il Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Skepto ha carattere competitivo ed è aperto a cortometraggi senza limiti per quanto riguarda il soggetto, lo stile o il budget di produzione. È aperto a cortometraggi di ogni genere, tra cui documentari, videoclip musicali, videoart, cortometraggi sperimentali, spot, trailer falsi, format di nuovi media, video mobili, ecc.

Il festival si svolgerà a Cagliari nell'aprile 2022, con proiezioni collaterali nelle stesse date o nei mesi successivi (entro la fine del 2022 — abbiamo in programma di organizzare almeno due eventi in altre località sarde e due in altre città italiane o internazionali).
