Enginuity is a festival created by filmmakers to celebrate the engine and ingenuity that powers independent film. We want to celebrate all the departments that come together to create independent film.

This is our first year, we intend on growing every year.

Enginuity is a festival that runs year round but awards quarterly semi-finalists. In May, we will host a live screening of all the Best Quarterly Winners in Best Picture and Best Short Film Categories, followed by an evening award program that will announce the annual winners in each category.

O Festival Internacional de Cinema e Direitos Humanos - HUMANS FEST, realizado em Valência desde 2008, é uma das principais iniciativas promovidas pela Fundación por la Justicia. Seu objetivo é aproximar a cultura audiovisual do público em geral e do público especialmente vulnerável, ao mesmo tempo em que defende os direitos humanos e denuncia suas violações em todo o mundo. Além disso, apresenta uma série de atividades com foco social.

A 16ª edição do HUMANS FEST acontecerá de 29 de maio a 7 de junho de 2025.

From February 21-24, 2019, the international documentary industry will once again gather in Eindhoven for the 6th edition of DOCfeed. With a program of the finest selection of films, and a friendly audience, with workshops for and by documentary professionals.

DOCfeed is one of the newest celebration of the documentary genre in the world. We hope to see you all here! We offer the option to submit and review your documentary online.

One of the things that makes our festival unique is that we do the screenings in pop-up cinema’s, mainly in old Philipps buildings (as Eindhoven is the hometown of Philipps) and museums. Have a close look at the pictures to see the warm ad nice atmosphere of our festival, or check our Facebook page to read the reactions of filmmakers and visitors to our festival.

The entry for documentaries will be open from July. We accept only Documentaries. We hope to sustain and promote filmmakers, especially independent filmmakers around the world, to continue their creativity and produce their artworks; to inspire all filmmakers to never stop chasing their dreams in creating excellent movies, and to participate in the film industry.

Newcomers are welcomed. The films will be pre-selected before presented to a judge panel.

Jiffy Louvre II: Deixe a preocupação para trás (novamente)

Após um hiato de dois anos, o Short Shorts Festival na Whitespace Gallery em Atlanta GA retorna para sua sétima iteração e o segundo julgado pelo artista de Atlanta e diretor da Welch School of Art & Design Joe Peragine. O título, originalmente usado em Short Shorts 2019, é um mash-up de alta (o Louvre, o museu dos museus) e baixo (Jiffy Lube, fornecedores do trabalho de lubrificante drive- through cujo slogan é “deixar preocupação para trás”). O título encapsula o amplo objetivo estético deste festival. Qualquer orçamento, qualquer gênero, qualquer história é bem-vinda, desde que nos dê uma breve pausa desses momentos estragados em que vivemos. Estamos abertos a trabalhos fora do ritmo, não narrativo e experimental.

O festival de curtas curtas terá uma exibição ao vivo ao ar livre na Whitespace Gallery, em Atlanta, no sábado, 17 de setembro de 2022. O espaço em branco é uma das principais galerias de arte contemporânea em Atlanta e em todo o sudeste, promovendo um ambiente imersivo de livre expressão, intimidade e diálogo. Haverá também uma segunda exibição ao vivo ao ar livre no campus da Georgia State University na quinta-feira, 22 de setembro de 2022.

As pinturas, esculturas e animações de Joe Peragines foram apresentadas em galerias, espaços de arte contemporânea e museus em todos os EUA e internacionalmente. Nascido em Jersey City, Nova Jersey, Peragine vive com sua família em Atlanta e atualmente é diretor da Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design da Georgia State University.

O festival Cinema Itinerante em Mi Barrio se consolida como uma plataforma vital para a divulgação de curtas-metragens nacionais no departamento de Cauca, dando ao público de várias sub-regiões a oportunidade de apreciar o cinema em uma tela gigante. A chamada de 2024 está aberta a curtas-metragens que, por sua proposta narrativa, se destaquem e tenham o potencial de atingir públicos diversos.

As obras cinematográficas podem abordar temas livres, com atenção especial a aspectos como meio ambiente, direitos humanos, criatividade e juventude, artes e culturas, refletindo assim a riqueza da biodiversidade colombiana.

Este ano, a rota itinerante do festival começa no Pacífico de Cauca, com paradas em Timbiquí e Guapi. A sala móvel então se moverá para o sul, para as terras de Patía, e depois para o norte em Santander de Quilichao, nos Valles del Cauca. Você também visitará o leste da Tierra Distancia, conhecida por seus tesouros escondidos.
O festival terá uma programação especial durante a semana central em Popayán, Cauca, onde atividades adicionais serão desenvolvidas, incluindo workshops, palestras e exposições oficiais. Este itinerante não busca apenas exibir curtas-metragens, mas também promover o diálogo e o intercâmbio cultural, reafirmando o compromisso do festival em promover o cinema nacional local e internacionalmente.

O Seoul Metro International Subway Film Festival (SMIFF) apresenta vários curtas-metragens extremos em todo o mundo em monitores de metrô de Seul e Barcelona e visa contribuir para tornar um ambiente cultural cosmopolita, onde qualquer pessoa pode desfrutar de filmes em vários lugares além dos cinemas.

O Festival Internacional de Cinema na Ilha FECISLA, é um evento cinematográfico que tem como linhas a identidade e a cultura da ascendência africana, da infância e da juventude e do meio ambiente, permeando e impactando a partir de um processo educacional e cultural a maioria da população nativa da Ilha Fuerte e o diversidade de visitantes de diferentes partes do planeta que vêm ao nosso festival.

O Brain Film Fest (BFF) é um festival internacional de cinema dedicado a destacar e promover a criação e divulgação de longas-metragens e curtas-metragens sobre qualquer aspecto do cérebro, desde suas incríveis habilidades e condições até suas patologias. O BFF é organizado em conjunto pela Fundação Pasqual Maragall e pela Minimal Films. Além de ser uma competição de filmes, o BFF também organizará durante todo o festival outros eventos sociais, culturais e/ou científicos presenciais e on-line com foco no cérebro.

A 9ª edição do Brain Film Fest será realizada de 11 a 15 de março de 2026.

FAN Chile International Audiovisual Contest

FAN CHILE Audiovisual Festival for Children calls to participate in its international competition of audiovisual
quality productions for kids, from any country.

FAN CHILE 5th edition from September 10th to 14th, 2019.

FAN CHILE Audiovisual Festival for Children awards and promotes the debate on audiovisual content for children. Productions and co-productions in any language can entry, but only if they are dubbed or subtitled in
Spanish.

TV channels and independent producers can participate. The call is open to all kinds oftechniques, genders and formats.

Productions that have been completed or aired any time between january, 2017 and May 2019, will be accepted.
