XII ИЗДАНИЕ: Распознавание нашей тени

Наша тень может стать настоящей проблемой.

Именно эту сторону человечности мы предпочитаем скрывать и которая заставляет нас действовать сомнительно.

Отчасти именно эта тень привела нас к ужасному воздействию на окружающую среду.

Вырубка лесов, разливы нефти, загрязнение почв и морей, уничтожение биологических видов, нарушение прав коренных народов и убийства защитников окружающей среды.

Эта индивидуальная и коллективная тень проецируется из больших городов на наши экосистемы под защитой государственной законности и частных инвестиций в пользу «прогресса и индустриализации».

В те времена, когда вызванный нами дисбаланс окружающей среды возвращается к нам подобно климатическим катастрофам и природным хищениям, нам следует осмелиться оглянуться на эту тень.

Мы обязаны понять последствия этого явления, указать на тех, кто его прогнозирует, и потребовать принятия нормативных актов для защиты тех, кого оно затрагивает.

Они говорят, что первый шаг к решению проблемы — это ее выявление, и сегодня с помощью кинематографа мы стремимся признать наши действия, остановить их влияние на нашу уникальную природную среду.

РАСПОЗНАВАНИЕ НАШЕЙ ТЕНИ

Международный фестиваль документального кино в Боготе (MIDBO), организованный Колумбийской корпорацией документальных кинематографистов ALADOS COLOMBIA, является специализированным мероприятием, посвященным научно-популярному кино. За последние 27 лет он зарекомендовал себя в Колумбии и Латинской Америке как ключевая площадка для выставок, диалога и критических размышлений о практике документального и аудиовизуального научно-популярного кино.

В своем 28-м выпуске MIDBO приглашает кинематографистов и продюсеров представить свои аудиовизуальные работы на киноконкурс 2026 года и принять участие в различных учебных, дискуссионных и сетевых площадках, которые будут проходить виртуально и лично на всей выставке.

28-я выставка MIDBO пройдет с 28 октября по 4 ноября 2026 года в Боготе, Колумбия. В течение года программа также пройдет в разных регионах страны и продолжит серию показов фильма «MIDBO—ALADOS по вторникам» в партнерстве с аналогичными площадками.

В каждом конкурсном разделе будет вручена главная награда.

Продолжительность полнометражных фильмов должна превышать 60 минут. Короткометражные фильмы должны длиться более 7 минут.

Жюри каждого конкурса будет объявлено за месяц до начала фестиваля и будет состоять из трех (3) художников, кинематографистов, писателей, критиков или деятелей культуры.

A Femme International Film Festival is a premier festival that focuses on platforming women filmmakers “by women, for everyone”. Our Festival was created in 2005, when it became apparent that there was a need to enhance women behind the camera as Directors, Producers, and Writers. We were the first in Los Angeles to host such an event and film festival empowering women. All those that followed are just duplicates of the movement we started over a decade ago.

Through our Partners and Sponsors we have provided one-one-one meetings with our filmmakers or helped secure financing. CBS Entertainment Diversity Department and Sony Entertainment met with a selected group of our filmmakers with the goal to offer potential employment and/or placement as a director or writer under their diversity department. It is through our direct efforts that these opportunities are being secured for our LA Femme Int. Film Festival Filmmakers.

As LA Femme moves into the next few years, it plans to expand its platform so that more women in the industry and from around the world can have the benefit of taking their film to the next level through increased distribution outlets, more key positions in the entertainment industry and more recognition as artistic creators emerging as leaders in the industry.

Our goal is to create more such opportunities through exemplary programming, networking, and panel events. A classic professional atmosphere will create a sense of ‘opportunity’ for participants. LA Femme International Film Festival is “By Women for Everyone.”

Objectives:
To continually showcase and celebrate commercially viable films Written, Directed, or Produced by women.

To opening a pathway for women entering the industry by encouraging mentor-ship and artistic sharing between those women established in the field and those just beginning.

To Platform new emerging talent and support established women in cross-over roles.

To assist in distributing the feature films that are platformed in our festival with domestic theatrical releases and home video distribution.

Mission:
La Femme International Film Festival will support and nurture the artistic entertainment productions of women for the benefit of distribution to an international and domestic audience.

»Our emphasis is on providing a complete specialized festival based on showcasing and celebrating commercially successful films written, directed, or produced by women and creating a system of access for those new to the industry directly to established women industry professionals.

FICAMS, Antarctica’s International Film Festival about Environment and Sustainability is a competitive festival that gives and teaches community members, through films, diverse views related to our habitat and culture. General themes of the audio-visual pieces are base on the environment, nature, sustainability, climate change, recycling, and renewable energy sources.

The Beeston Film Festival attracts the latest global short films to the East Midlands AND NOW to filmmakers too! In a unique offering your Beeston Film Festival entry fee is your admission to watch the whole On-line Festival! You will be able to watch the competition in your category and enjoy the talent in all the others.

The On-Line Festival presents films accepted into ALL categories – Drama, Comedy, Horror, Documentary, Animation and the local Three Counties competition. The On-Line Festival will be available for 3 weeks after the festival in Beeston.

The Beeston Oscar, or B’Oscar, is awarded to the best film in the following categories - Drama, Horror, Comedy, Documentary and Animation.

This year a new local competition has been created called Three Counties category, that is split into two sections: Long (up to 15 minutes); and Short (up to 5 minutes). Filmmakers from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire ONLY with films in any genre can submit. The prize pool is amazing because we have teamed up with Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund (MMBF), a UK based international charity that supports filmmakers and actors, so as well as a B’Oscar there is
Three Counties Long - a MMBF Rising Star Award (£150 prize, mentoring plus physical award and other perks)
Three Counties Short - a MMBF Best Short Award (£50 prize and physical award).

Further prizes will be awarded for Best Director, Best Script, Best Cinematography, Best Acting Performance, Best Soundtrack & Sound Design and an Audience award, too. And, of course, there is a wonderful Best in Festival B’Oscar, too, designed by the renowned ceramic artist, Anna Collette Hunt.

Lorne Film 2014 will build on the success of the inaugural 2013 festival – where over 1000 admissions viewed 29 films across 5 screens, and film professionals from across Australia descended on Lorne to create, and interact in a true festival community.

Featuring a range of intimate venues against the backdrop of Lorne’s unique coastal beauty, Lorne Film 2014 is a four-day celebration of international film for the people who make, watch and love film, held from November 13 – 16, 2014.

Lorne Film 2014 will continue to nurture and promote Lorne and the surrounding Otway region as a centre for film culture and commerce, a port of call for industry leaders and world-class talent for the duration of the festival and beyond. In creating a ‘film market’ Lorne Film will capitalise on Lorne’s history as a meeting place where in people will come from across the planet to buy, sell, talk, and think film.

BIFF came out of a desire to expand Dutchess County’s offering of independent films, make independent films more accessible to people who might not otherwise see them and to help make Beacon a place that celebrates and fosters filmmaking.

The registration of a film in the competition selection process of the festival indicates the full acceptance of these bases. The organization of the Festival will resolve in an unappealable manner with respect to any matter included in this regulation or its interpretation. The sender of the film authorizes FEDOCHI to select some sequences not exceeding three minutes that can be broadcast by TV, within the framework of programs and spots that disseminate the festival.

The 14th version of the Documentary Film Festival of Chiloe will take place between November 5 and 10, 2018.
