After last year's big success DELETE TV is again selecting remarkable experimental short films and video art which will be broadcasted on our partner TV-Channel in Austria and several video art platforms in collaboration with the selected artists. Further more, the most eye and mind-bending films will make it to Delete TV Screenings all over Europe.

Delete TV investigates the captivating nature of images with the specific aim to look up to new approaches by taking distance from the conventional film making method.

The program opens a window to the world of art and offers strong, wild and uncensored works from upcoming artists and film-makers. Delete TV highlights contemporary issues in a global context, highly educational and deeply focused on intercultural exchange and visibility.

The 4th COLOMBIAN QUEER FILM FESTIVAL is an annual non competitive LGBT film festival created by Fundación Cineteca Pública de Santander, to reward and celebrate each films of Colombian and international filmmakers, who make visible an aesthetic-political nature with discussions on gender, diversity of sexual orientation and identity along with films in commercial circuits and festivals, to generate intercultural encounters and consolidate organization processes and self-representation.
Gender doesn't define us. The sexuality-gender-body relationship surrounds us with inexhaustible questions and reflections. That’s why in this fourth edition we adopt the proposal to explore the different possibilities that this relationship offers in Cinema. #GENDERisOVER

CENTRAL-DOC, Blackbird Films e Huitzil Multidisciplinar Creation Laboratory A.C. Todos os realizadores de documentários são convidados a participar na quarta edição do Festival Internacional de Cinema Documentário, que irá ocorrem de 2 a 6 de dezembro de 2019 no estado de Tlaxcala, México. As obras serão projetadas em espaços públicos, independentes, instituições educacionais e centros culturais, sendo estes locais, nacionais ou internacionais.

Esta quarta edição da Exposição é acompanhada pelo tema CULTURA, IDENTIDADE E RESISTÊNCIA... 500 ANOS atrás. Um tema que procura tornar visível, mas acima de tudo reivindicar o papel dos povos indígenas através dos diferentes documentários que compõem esta edição e que se destinam a girar em torno de temas particulares como origens, tradições, território, língua, direitos, entre muitos outros. Na CENTRAL-DOC esperamos documentários com histórias que nos permitam questionar e valorizar o que nos torna o que somos, de onde viemos e quais são as nossas raízes.

CineCulpable é o Festival Internacional de Curtas-Metragens Vila-real. Em 2020, chegamos à 23ª edição.

Esta edição está aberta a todos os artistas que inscrever o seu trabalho em qualquer uma das línguas oficiais em
Comunidade Valenciana: espanhol ou valenciano.

O FEST — New Directors | New Films Festival é uma celebração abrangente das novas tendências do cinema mundial. O evento se concentra em uma vitrine competitiva e não competitiva das novas figuras e obras mais promissoras de todo o mundo.
A 22ª edição do festival acontecerá entre os dias 20 e 28 de junho de 2026, na cidade litorânea de Espinho (Portugal).

A seleção é dividida em várias categorias, que incluem competições de longa-metragem e curta-metragem nos formatos de ficção, documentário, animação, não narrativa experimental, além de conteúdo adequado para crianças e adolescentes. O evento também inclui seções não competitivas que vão desde retrospectivas até mostras de longas-metragens e curtas-metragens.

O QUE ESTAMOS PROCURANDO?
Estamos aceitando filmes nos seguintes formatos:
A) Longas-metragens de ficção e não ficção (duração mínima de 55 minutos) de diretores que estão em seu primeiro ou segundo projeto de longa-metragem, independentemente da idade.
B) Ficção, documentário, animação e curtas-metragens experimentais (até 54 minutos de duração) de diretores que concluíram no máximo dois longas-metragens, independentemente da idade.

Os candidatos devem escolher uma das categorias de inscrição disponíveis. Não se preocupe se seu filme se encaixa em categorias diferentes (ou seja: produções híbridas), pois todas as inscrições serão consideradas para as diferentes competições. Se o seu filme também for elegível para a competição NEXXT (focada em produções acadêmicas), mas você deseja que o filme seja considerado para todas as outras competições, mencione na seção de comentários da inscrição a instituição acadêmica onde o filme foi produzido. Ao longo dos anos, o FEST selecionou para suas competições de longa-metragem filmes como “Past lives”, de Celine Song; “Mighty Flash”, de Ainhoa Rodríguez; “The Civilian”, de Teodora Mihai; Anders Ølholm e Frederik Louis Hviid, com “Enforcement”; Julie Lecoustre, “Zero Fucks Given”, de Emmanuel Marre; P.S. Vinothraj “Pebbles”; “Poppy Field”, de Eugen Jebeleanu; e “Lamb”, de Valdimar Jóhannsson, tudo isso no lado da ficção, depois no lado do documentário, “A way Home”, de Karima Saidi, “Last Knights Of The Right Side”, de Michał Edelman, “Dear Future Children”, de Franz Böhm entre muitos outros.

As seções de curtas-metragens do FEST são conhecidas por sua grande variedade de estilos e visões fílmicas, tendo sido ao longo dos anos uma plataforma para o lançamento de novos artistas como Govinda Van Maele (Luxemburgo), Christos Massalas (Grécia), Mati Diop (França), Lukas Dhont (Bélgica), Adriano Valerio (Itália), Patrick Vollrath (Alemanha), Ninja Thyberg (Suécia), Manuel Abramovich (Argentina), Daria Belova (Rússia), Simon Mésa Soto (Colômbia), Aga Woszczynska (Polônia), Jela Hasler (Suíça), além de centenas de outros cineastas promissores.

WorldFest is the only film festival in the world that gives your entry a grade, a score! Your score can earn you a Remi Award! We do not believe that there can just be three winners in a category, a Gold, Silver and Bronze - so we assign your entry a score from the jury! An A+ wins a Special Jury Award and is considered for the Grand Remi! An A score wins a Platinum Remi, an A- wins a Gold, a B+ wins a Silver and a B wins a Bronze Remi. No Awards are made below a B level score. With more than 4,750 category entries, only about 10-15% actually win a Remi Award, but we feel it is the best possible way to run a festival awards system!

The 55th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival continues its totally dedicated Independent Film screening format for the upcoming April 20-24, 2022 unspooling. WorldFest will screen just 60-80 feature film premieres and over 130 Shorts with a total and absolute emphasis on the American and International Independent feature film and a continuing annual spotlight on award-winning short films and documentary films. Entries Officially Open Aug. 15, 2021. The EarlyBird Entry Deadline is Nov. 15th 2021 – A Mail-By/Enter By/Ship-By Deadline! Entries do not have to arrive by this deadline. The Main Entry Deadline is December 15, 2021. The Late Entry Deadline is Jan 15th 2022!

WorldFest Artistic and Program Director, Kathleen Haney, stated, “We are fiercely dedicated to the Indie Feature and Short Film and look for a quality selection of individual films to maintain a smaller, yet effective program rather than an overly large and unwieldy slate of 150-300 films. This year WorldFest presents its 8th Annual Panorama Asia, the largest survey of new films from all of Asia & China in the whole, wide world! More than 200 directors and filmmakers will attend from Beijing, Shanghai, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia, VietNam, Cambodia, the Philippines & Japan. China is now the largest box-office and production revenue country in the world, surpassing the USA. There is a special Panorama Asia theater and a dedicated section of the program book.

Nossa história
em 2009 como um projeto informal para mostrar o cinema independente nas ruelas recônditas de Alfama, projetado contra suas icônicas paredes de pedra.

Nos anos seguintes, a Cinalfama amadureceu e se tornou um evento competitivo de caráter internacional, além de uma referência cultural em Lisboa.

A natureza dos eventos mudou ao longo dos anos, mas a atmosfera, os filmes e os locais permanecem tão íntimos quanto sempre foram.

Nossa casa
Fundado em 1914, o Grupo Sportivo Adicense é um dos símbolos remanescentes mais antigos e autênticos da verdadeira alma de Alfama.

Cantores de fado mundialmente famosos começaram suas carreiras servindo mesas nesta instituição histórica — que ainda enfrenta as constantes mudanças e descaracterizações da paisagem urbana do bairro.


Sessões de exibição

Escondidas nas ruas secundárias da cidade velha de Lisboa, Alfama, nossas exibições íntimas acontecem na casa cultural mais antiga da cidade, o Grupo Sportivo Adicense.

Organizamos três edições de exibição sazonal ao longo do ano, para mostrar e premiar os melhores talentos e filmes de cada uma. São de entrada gratuita e todos os filmes têm legendas em inglês.

Devido à atual pandemia e às restrições associadas, decidimos hospedar a próxima edição online de janeiro de 2024, disponibilizando uma seleção dos melhores filmes da temporada. Com o objetivo de ter exibições ao vivo de volta em breve.

(Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival)
HALF Festival stands for Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival. ‘Haiku’ is a very short form of Japanese poetry, here used to mean any short form of aesthetic creativity. ‘Amateur’ here denotes a creation by a creator whose chief intention in the creation is not financial gain. ‘Little’ here stands for shortness of duration of the film. ‘HALF’ denotes also the stipulated duration of the film which is 5 minutes or ‘half’ the time of a traditional film reel which is 10 minutes. Insight, which is organizing this festival, is a group of creative artists, with base at Palakkad, who believe in the infinite potential of the short film as a medium of communication and aesthetic creativity.

The European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation (the Federation) is a tightly knit network of 22 film festivals from 14 countries, with a global attendance of over 450 000 visitors, making it a vital economic and cultural player on the fantastic film scene.

With an 13 years history, the Talca International Film Festival, stands as one of the major short film and debut film festivals in Chile. Our festival aims to offer a selection of the best independent, innovative and experimental short films and first feature films from around the world. On the other hand, to contribute in the exchange of local and international stories in this globalised world where ideas and culture break the borders in the benefit of all of us.
