The SARDINIA FILM FESTIVAL intends to foster and exploit cinematography in particular independent production, encourage exchange and comparison between different artistic expressions, encourage young people to occupations of the cinematography.

Todo mundo que envia um filme para Mirror Mountain, independentemente de ser selecionado ou não, ganha um passe grátis para participar de todo o festival.

Filmes de qualquer duração podem ser enviados gratuitamente se tiverem sido filmados e/ou editados em um raio de 125 km de Ottawa. Essa área inclui Gatineau, Maniwaki, Mont Tremblant, Montebello, Hawkesbury, Cornwall, Potsdam, Brockville, Smiths Falls, Perth, Renfrew, Arnprior e muito mais.

3. Inscrições gratuitas para ex-alunos
Se você dirigiu um filme que foi oficialmente selecionado em uma edição anterior de Mirror Mountain, você pode se inscrever novamente sem nenhum custo.

4. Seu dinheiro de volta
Se seu filme for oficialmente selecionado para exibição no festival, reembolsaremos sua taxa de inscrição original.

5. Pagamos taxas de artistas
Se o seu filme for oficialmente selecionado para exibição no festival, você também receberá uma taxa de artista para agradecer por nos deixar exibir seu trabalho.

6. Menos restrições
Não temos requisitos de estreia ou data de conclusão. Seu filme ainda é elegível, mesmo que já tenha sido exibido na região de Ottawa, tenha sido distribuído, tenha sido transmitido pela televisão ou esteja disponível para exibição on-line.

7. Fique por dentro
Depois de inscrever seu filme, você receberá uma notificação do festival para confirmar que recebemos sua inscrição. Posteriormente, você receberá uma notificação informando sobre os resultados, independentemente de seu filme ter sido selecionado ou não.

8. Prêmios para cineastas vencedores
Os prêmios são distribuídos em várias categorias após a conclusão do festival. Os vencedores do prêmio recebem um certificado e uma seleção de prêmios doados por nossos patrocinadores.

9. Atmosfera amigável e alternativa

O Festival Internacional de Cinema e Vídeo Verde da Venezuela abre sua convocatória para a 12ª edição, que será realizada de 2 a 6 de dezembro de 2024. Podrán presentarse cortometrajes estudiantiles de cualquier latitud, en una única categoría, siempre y cuando versen sobre la temática AMBIENTAL.

Nossa visão: tornar-se um festival verde de cinema e vídeo que, da Venezuela ao mundo, sirva de exemplo na criação de laços amorosos e parentais entre todos os habitantes do planeta Terra.

Nossa missão: oferecer uma alternativa às experiências ambientais e ecológicas que visam resgatar os laços parentais entre todos os seres bióticos e abióticos. A exposição sobre narrativas audiovisuais verdes está interrelacionada com outras experiências de streaming, mídia, transmídia e redes sociais, gerando uma rede de laços virtuais que queremos transformar em laços parentais.

Nossa filosofia: nos distanciamos das visões antropocêntricas e dos mandatos excessivos sobre o cuidado com o meio ambiente, que acabam sendo armadilhas antropocêntricas sem uma compreensão da biologia do amor. The Bow Wow Film Fest is a traveling, dog centric film festival that celebrates, educates and inspires all things doggie through the art of short film.

Bow Wow Film Fest features some of the years’ best pooch themed short films all wrapped up in one beautiful, fun-loving 90 minute package! Bow Wow presents an opportunity for animal welfare groups to host an event that generates awareness as well as offers a unique and delightful way to fund raise. 100% of tickets sales go the events beneficiaries! This year's show is a mixed cocktail with a strong stir from the flaming absinthe spoon. Again proving the world isn't flat, we are set to tour with one of our best shows to date. To provide you with a taste of what's what... We are proud to present Jonas Georgakakis' "Saga of Biorn" a ferociously funny animated Nordic tale divulging the absolute truth about how one might earn the right to enter Valhalla. Then there is Javier Mrad's "Techopolis," an absolutely amazing 12min stop motion piece resembling Fritz Lang's Metropolis black and white film. This is the only show where so many entertaining films like these take the spotlight and are given full theatrical effect.

Before the "Festival of Animation" it was difficult to see independent, experimental, and foreign animation. Spike and Mike embarks on yearly world-wide film hunting expeditions. They have signed-on animation from the National Film Board of Canada, Cal Arts, Sheridan, Royal College of Art, Annecy, and select studios active amongst the art-house scene that at one time did not have a public venue. This Festival has come to be known as one of the most anticipated touring events on the circuit.

Initially, Spike and Mike produced the "Classic Festival" and later both the "Classic" and "Sick and Twisted" simultaneously- but by the early 2000s, the "Classic Festival of Animation" was phased into hiatus by the Sick and Twisted Festival (mainly featuring shorts venturing into the non sequitur e.g. "Lloyd's Lunchbox"). "The Festival" (meaning the current show) premieres a new cavalcade of adventurous films annually. Spike & Mike's "New Generation Animation" noted as the latest genre in animation, without question is now premiering the most captivating film-set of thought provoking concepts, humor, story, and daring production design in animation.

In animation, it is important to have an accurate gauge on the pulsating shifts in pop culture. Spike and Mike's content has evolved with the changing tastes of our times. The shows in their entirety have toured globally in theaters, film festivals (such as Cannes, Sundance, Annecy), college campuses, and dynamic events such as the Vans Warped Tour, the Winter X Games, and with the nu-metal band Korn.

Arlington International Film Festival (AIFF) is an award winning organization with its mission being to foster appreciation for different cultures by exploring the lives of people around the globe through independent film. In 2014 AIFF was awarded the Community Recognition Award by the Arlington Martin Luther King Committee, in 2013 the Alan McClennen Community Arts Award by the Arlington Center for the Arts and the Gold Star Award by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Through the founding of AIFF, the mission has also focused on enriching the community and broadening the view of our world and ourselves. AIFF believes that the arts are here to connect us, to communicate across boundaries, and touch our common humanity.

AIFF is open to national and international filmmakers. Whether professional or a first time filmmaker, we welcome innovative, original films with unique perspectives. Many of our selected films have been nominated for Academy Awards; i.e. BOTSO: The Teacher from Tbillisi directed by Tom Walters, Elena directed by Petra Costa, and Documented directed by Jose Antonio Vargas. We Still Live Here directed by Anne Makepeace was chosen by the U.S. State Department to screen around the world.

The Unreal Film Festival is an annual film competition held in September in Memphis, TN. The festival accepts both short and feature length films from all over the world, but only films that fall under the horror, sci-fi, and/or fantasy film genres.

FESTER is a regular film series in Los Angeles showcasing “Mindfuck Movies,” films that crawl inside your head and stay there like the memory of a fever dream.

The winning filmmaker wins $50,000 (Feature) or $25,000 (Short) to shoot one of the top 10 scripts. Winning writer receives $20,000 (Feature) or $10,000 (Short) for their script!

O Prokuplje Short Film Festival, fundado em 2011, é o festival de cinema mais jovem da Sérvia. In Prokplje é um evento onde o público pode ver o melhor do campo do documentário, experimental, animação e ficção de todo o mundo. Milhares de filmes de todo o mundo chegam ao endereço do festival, e isso foi refletido pelo grande público em Prokuplje, mas também em outras cidades da Sérvia e da região, porque a equipe organiza uma turnê na qual os melhores filmes são apresentados em mais de 30 cidades. A falta do cinema, assim como a falta de um filme como disciplina na escola, impede que os jovens aprendam sobre essa arte.

Para ver algo desse conteúdo, os jovens devem ir a Nis, ou mesmo a Belgrado. Esta é uma oportunidade de ver as últimas conquistas de curtas-metragens de todo o mundo em Prokuplje. Nos últimos anos, de acordo com pesquisas, houve um declínio na participação do público nos festivais em todo o mundo. Então, por causa disso e por causa da introdução do filme aos jovens, trouxemos o trabalho com eles, em todas as escolas primárias e secundárias, que são públicos potenciais e serão animadas pela apresentação de filmes do festival e pela discussão sobre o significado do Festival. Além de trabalhar com jovens em Prokuplje, o Film Club Prokuplje é o primeiro a começar a animar o público das áreas rurais, que estão completamente excluídas de todos os eventos, especialmente os culturais.

NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) is a non-profit organization designed to showcase innovative works by emerging filmmakers from around the world, providing the Los Angeles community of entertainment professionals and film goers with a constant surge of monthly screening events. NFMLA provides a forum where filmmakers can be recognized for their contributions, have open audience discussions about their projects and connect with industry professionals for insight on distribution, production, acquisition and representation.

Each month, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) presents red carpet screenings of documentary, short and feature films that have been submitted from all over the world, followed by a Q&A with each films director. The program also offers a special after party so the audience can meet the filmmakers and incredible talent involved

FFF 2017 accepts feature films, documentary, animation, medium and short films from established and emerging , independent filmmakers, film schools and media collectives from Ireland Europe and around the world.

Zagreb Green Fest is a pilot project from the Non governmental organization RIO – Zagreb, who, through cinema, education, expositions and activity programs dedicated to the ecology and environmental protection, encourages a culture of life with respect for nature.

The entry to the festival is free.

The festival program is divided into three sections:

- Green Genre
- Green Classroom
- Green Career.

The cinema portion of the festival, the “Green Genre” is divided into two segments: the competitive short film side and the “runway”, where everything is presented. The program has an international feeling, the festival participants would have the possibility to see various local films, European and international films with the subject of ecology, earth’s protection and other subjects linked with these themes. The objective here is to encourage university, primary and secondary school students to include themselves into the festival, alone or in a group. They can produce amateur films there, and can present them during the second part of the Green Genre.

The Green Classroom is an educational part of the festival, to enlighten people creatively with the help of experts.

The activities for the students are very important. They include workshops and conferences, as well as demonstrations. Next to the workshops, the festival participants could see shows for all ages.

The Green Career proposes a program full of shows, where various “green” products will be shown, as well as inventions and initiatives.
Green Career is a segment of the festival directed towards an ecological area, for students and professionals. Companies with important information’s will be present to aid students with what they need for a chance at a future job.

The ministries will also present their plans and programs, and the possibilities for the future graduates. Their participation will be taken into account by the faculties which will demonstrate their paths leading to the mentioned domains, and the individuals whose projects have been put in place.

There will be a free addition to the festival, where there will be free yoga classes, dance classes and meditation throughout the whole festival, as well as a presentation of bio food producers and art works depicting ecological subjects.
