The V edition of CORTOSPLASH will take place from September 20 to 22 2017. During the period of the festival will be organized events and collateral activities such as retrospectives, monographs, sections out of competition, photo exhibitions, meetings with actors, writers, artists, musicians, filmmakers and journalists.

ENTRETODOS 18 - É um Festival de entrada gratuita dedicado à exibição e premiação de curtas-metragens com até 25 minutos, de todos os gêneros e formatos, que abordem temas relacionados aos Direitos Humanos.

O Festival acontece em São Paulo. Ele é produzido pela Prefeitura de São Paulo, Spcine e ESTATE Produções.

A XII edição do FESTIVAL DE CALI (FICCALI) é organizada pela Secretaría de Cultura de la Municipalidad de Cali, Colômbia.

FICCALI abre sua seção competitiva para curtas-metragens nacionais.

BEAST International Film Festival is now opening the call for entries for its second edition. This in an opportunity to bring your film to a different audience, connect with other directors, actors, editors and much more. Submit your film and give it the chance to be seen on the big screens of Porto’s cinemas, between 26th and 30th of September 2018.

One of BEAST’s aim is to provide a platform for young Eastern European artists, or Portuguese artists living in Eastern Europe - for our Portuguese Abroad section, to present their work in a western country, Portugal. Last year, BEAST IFF screened films that represented over 22 countries from Eastern Europe, in 5 venues located in the heart of Porto, Portugal. The festival has 3 competition sections: East Wave, East Doc, and ExperimentalEast, but you can also submit films for our special sections: BEAST Kids and Portuguese Abroad. Submissions are free between 15th of December 2017 - 1st of January 2018. The call for entries is open until the 1st of July 2018.

BEAST International Film Festival is set to bring Eastern European cinema and its audiovisual culture to Porto, a thriving cultural center in Europe’s westernmost country - a bridge connecting the two sides of the Old Continent. bEAST IFF aims to present a unique film scene with fresh and intriguing storylines, depicting a specific and contemporary society . This will be the first Film Festival totally dedicated to Eastern European cinema taking place in Portugal, promoting the film industry, culture and identity.

The Festival de Cine Comprometido de Guadalajara (FESCIGU) celebrates its 23rd edition this year at its (exile) headquarters in Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara, Spain). Over the years, we have strived to bring our audiences the best in the world of short films, with social, activist, or simply humanistic content. All genres are welcome, as long as they do not condone violence. FESCIGU is a pre-selection festival for the Goya Awards. This year, the central theme is PEACE, so short films that address this topic will be especially welcome.

Fantàstik Granollers é o festival de filmes fantásticos e de terror de Granollers, realizado desde 2012. Tornou-se um evento único na cidade, no qual é oferecida uma proposta cultural relacionada exclusivamente a filmes fantásticos e de terror e tudo o que está relacionado a isso, apostando fortemente em curtas-metragens.

É uma excelente oportunidade para os amantes do cinema verem filmes inovadores, bem como se conectarem com outras pessoas interessadas neste tópico.

Além do festival, outras atividades são realizadas durante o ano relacionadas à divulgação de filmes de fantasia e terror.

ECOFILM FESTIVAL 8TH EDITION / SUSTAINABLE EATING

ECOFILM is an International Environmental Short Film Festival, held annually in Mexico. It responds to the need to raise awareness on environmental topics, promoting audiovisual production and ecological culture with solutions that balance human beings in interaction with their environment.

Taratsa is an independent international short film festival based in Thessaloniki, Greece. It began in August 2014, integrated in the framework of “Thessaloniki European Youth Capital”. Its purpose is to create a framework for the promotion of independent short films from Greece and all over the world -by bringing the audience closer to the production and establishing a place and time for the substantial interaction and artistic expression between the creators- as well as to present films that are considered benchmarks in the history of cinema.

O Festival Internacional de Cinema Puerto Madryn MAFICI acontece há 13 anos e é um dos festivais mais importantes da América Latina, que acontece na Patagônia Argentina.

O objetivo do Festival é oferecer a possibilidade de exibir filmes nacionais e estrangeiros, tanto longas-metragens quanto curtas-metragens, e assim gerar um espaço de encontro e difusão do cinema, a partir de um canto da Patagônia Argentina.

A XI edição do Festival Internacional de Cinema de Guayaquil será celebrada de 30 de julho a 6 de agosto de 2026 na cidade de Santiago de Guayaquil, Equador. Com exibições em teatros e workshops, fóruns e master classes. A maior experiência cinematográfica da cidade.

O SANFIC, Festival Internacional de Cinema de Santiago, representa uma plataforma cinematográfica com fins educacionais, culturais, artísticos e industriais, bem como um símbolo principal da capital chilena e de todo o país.
