Hello and welcome to the 2nd Edition of MICA! We are thrilled to be an international independent short film exhibit that celebrates the art of storytelling and the creativity of the new voices that are building the future of the film industry.

Our mission is to discover new and innovative filmmakers and serve as a platform by showcasing their work in our live events, as well as promoting the films in our online film exhibit at micamateur.com. We are excited to announce that in addition to promoting the films in our online exhibit, we will also be sponsoring paid advertising to further promote the selected films.

We welcome films of ALL GENRES and ALL BUDGETS of Independent Cinema. We would be honored to have your film participate in the second edition of our independent film exhibit. If you have any questions regarding the genre, style, or the eccentricities of your film, please do not hesitate to drop us a line at info@cineamateur.com - We are here to assist you in any way we can.

At MICA, we believe that the future of cinema is yet to be discovered, and we are proud to support the seventh art in its journey. Thank you for considering our film exhibit as a platform for your work.

As part of our mission to support independent filmmakers, we at MICA are excited to announce that we will be promoting the selected films through paid advertising in Mexico, in an effort to reach a wider audience and help these films gain more exposure. Our goal is to assist these filmmakers by increasing the visibility of their work, with the hope that they will benefit from reaching the right audience. There are no awards or prizes for the selected films, but we believe that being seen by a wider audience is a reward in and of itself. We are committed to promoting and showcasing independent cinema and are excited to help these filmmakers share their stories with the world.
