Annual Independent event with 4 major programs for all Features, Shorts, Documentaries, Experimental, Commercial, Music Video, Animations, Student Films, TV, Series, and New Media. The international community evaluates the all-genre creations to serve ARFF Official Laurels and to certify the awarded filmmakers at the end of the annual festival run. Thus, all the ARFF Finalists will be mentioned multiple times to have the best out of the entire year altogether. Submit today to participate in all 4 programs, regarding the unique system of ARFF International. Submissions made via Festhome are getting evaluated and selected, directly for the yearly festival run and participating in the Official Certificate Program exclusively. Monthly selection is available on other associated platforms.

ARFF submitters have the chance to receive the Official Laurel, regarding the Special Mention program to have the Official Certificates. It's also possible to be selected for the associated Awards from the partners such as Inktip Prize Package.
The same creation can be submitted to different sections and the different cities of ARFF International to have more opportunities at the International Award Events and to get customized Laurels from ARFF Berlin ✈ ARFF Barcelona ✈ ARFF Amsterdam and ✈ ARFF Paris exclusively.

ARFF International - Around International Film Awards (Us, our, we) hereby sets out the following terms of participation, valid from 01.12.19 until further notice.

1. Submitted filmmakers accept all the Rules&Terms automatically regarding the updated form.

Each year we select Best Of The Bests via ARFF Berlin, Amsterdam // Paris // Barcelona editions to serve the Official Laurels and to award exclusively by the ARFF International Certificates.

2. Our judges have an access to all films and they vote without sharing your work publicly. Please be sure that you have the proper English subtitle on the trailer and the full movie.

3. Submissions made after the yearly evaluation, will be re-evaluated for the next season safely. If you want to increase chances for your production, you can allow your film to be accessible online with a password if needed. It's always possible to submit on the other cities/categories of ARFF International on related platforms.

4. ARFF International does not post current creations online. Also, we only screen your film with a notification at the end of the year. ARFF International has an access to online data shared through Festhome and other portals. If your creation has the potential for distribution, (co)production, or any commercial usage, Around Films keeps the right to make previews with 3rd party. Still, the final action will be taken with the owner of the material here (submitter). And our team will contact you for confirmation of the possibilities. Previous yearly selections and the winner creations will be accessible with password protection for the Privileged Participators.

5. Hereby all entries should be sent via Festhome with an online screener. Please don't send discs or any downloadable files to us. The Festival will be informed in advance, if your film is selected for the yearly screenings and if not, following up with the Yearly Shortlist is the filmmakers' responsibility.

6. By submitting your work, you confirm that you own the rights to the film and accept all the Rules&Terms. If you'll be making an IMDb contribution, mentioning Official Selection ARFF City Edition is a must. Only the annual Special mentions have a right to process as Winner on the IMDb page.

7. Festival keeps the right of changing the section of the selected film from the section which is submitted. The same film can be submitted in different sections to have more opportunities. All submissions made via Festhome, are getting evaluated for the Special Mentions. Regarding the Unification Program of ARFF International, all 4 editions will gather at Amsterddam November/December 2024, till then Barcelona, Paris & Berlin editions will take place online.


8. Festival has the right to download&cut by using snippets, sequences, still, images from the submitted material to share on printed, social media, and the website. Also to share the IMDb data of the associated industry members. No film may be withdrawn from the festival program after its participation has been publicized. The filmmaker is responsible to follow up, with the e-mail data given on Festhome and other associated platforms

9. Festival does not offer any refund through withdrawal or the movies haven’t been selected for the program. ARFF International keeps the right to disqualify the film in the case of unresponsive mail for the screening and due to violating message or a comment on (social) media.

10. Music video and Animation works have the chance to be the winner of specified categories such as; Best Director, Best Cinematography, Audience Award, and Globe Award. ARFF International Mention and Best Trailer categories are out of the yearly competition.
