Festival start: 25 September 2024      Festival end: 28 September 2024

The purpose of the festival is to definitively promote film production in the region by inviting national and international figures to spend a few days in the Thames, thereby bringing knowledge of the region, its people and its culture closer together. It will be a regional and territorial festival that will have national and international categories and will transform Támesis and its rural areas into movie theaters for 4 days.

The official selection of the TameCine Festival will compete for the statuette "The Petroglyph" and the awards that the festival will grant.
The winners will be announced on September 28, 2024, the award ceremony and ceremony of closing of the festival.

The fourth edition of Tamecine Fest has as its main theme Regional Stories, where those stories written by authors or groups interested in telling the stories of the territory where they were born or grew up stand out.

The call begins on May 9 and participants can apply until June 28 at 11:59 p.m. Colombian hour.
Anyone of any nationality can apply to any of our categories.

The call is open to productions filmed and shot in all technical media (digital, 35mm, 16mm, among others), participants must present their works with minimum quality standards, otherwise they will not be taken into account.

The works presented must be recorded, dubbed or, failing that, subtitled into Spanish.

Participants who apply for international products must make a registration contribution of 3 USD; National (Colombian) works are exempt from making this contribution.

Each author or group of authors may present a maximum of 2 works, their unpublished nature not being mandatory and they may have been awarded in other competitions. Audiovisual productions must have been completed after January 1, 2022.

The festival is made up of 4 categories that you must take into account when applying for your job:

Documentary short film (separated by national and international works)

Fiction Short Film (separated by National and International works)

Animated short (national and international shorts participate within the same category)

Student short (national and international shorts participate within the same category)

The Short Documentary, Short Fiction and Short Animation categories will only accept products whose total duration is a minimum of 15 minutes and a maximum of 25 minutes. Any product that falls outside this parameter will be automatically disqualified.

The Student Short Category only accepts products from 5 minutes and with a maximum of 15 minutes, any product registered in this category that does not comply with the proposed times will be disqualified.

Participants in the student short film category must be students or recent graduates (no older than one year) who wish to show their talent through their first film works.
