The International Film Festival "La Picasa" will be held in the town of Cinco Saltos (Río Negro, Argentina), on March 21, 22, 23 and 24, 2024. The Festival is organized by Linea Sur Cine, the Municipality of Cinco Saltos and with the collaboration of the Province of Río Negro. Its programming is in charge of the Artistic Director Ivan Iannamico with the general production of Diego Carriqueo.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Its call is open for the Short Film Competition in the categories NATIONAL FICTION, INTERNATIONAL FICTION, NATIONAL FICTION, REGIONAL FICTION (Argentine Patagonia Region) DOCUMENTARY, TERROR and ANIMATION. All those short films of national and international production, produced in 2021, 2022, 2023, may compete. The duration must not exceed 20 minutes (including credits).

REGISTRATION CONDITIONS

to. All those producers or filmmakers who own the rights to the works they present may participate.

b. Each participant may present the number of films they want.

c. The works must be in Spanish (Castilian) or subtitled in Spanish (Castilian). Not bent.

d. Registration will be done by completing a form and sending a link to the work and/or completing the necessary fields on the festival platforms.
and. The material must be sent until December 15, 2023 (inclusive).

RIGHTS ON THE WORKS

The organization presupposes that the people or groups that register the works have the rights to exhibit them, as well as the authorization to receive the prize in the case of collective authorship. In any case, the organization exempts itself from any liability that may arise from the infringement of this base.

SELECTION

A selection group will be in charge of choosing, among all the films received, those works that will participate in the “La Picasa” International Film Festival. The decisions adopted will be communicated as of January 19, 2024 to their respective directors, producers or distributors.
