EVENT DATES. The XXII edition of the Guanajuato International Film Festival will be celebrated from July 19-28, 2019, in the cities of San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato, Mexico.
The Festival de Cinemə Internacional de Merdə de Suecə – International Film Festival-of-Shit from Suecə (C.I.M. Sueca) is the unitary festival of the low budget, independent or non comercial cinema which is based in Sueca (Valencia-Spain).
The C.I.M. Sueca aims to stimulate audiovisual initiatives of the counterculture. It is the home of the unassimilable, the rebellious, the anarchists and the free creators.
The acronym CIM (which is peak in Catalan) is just that, the top of the mountain, the vortex of the iceberg, the summit of the mound. The peak of dung which form the works most battered by the establishment.
The C.I.M. Sueca holds an annual bases for the Premis de Cinemə internacional de Merdə de Suecə - International Film Festival-of-Shit awards from Sueca, to reward the most bizarre creations of the universe.

SEE a Paris is a dedicated attempt of all the twelve South-East European countries to create a special contribution to the cultural unification of Europe as our common home. Dante Alighieri declared Paris to be the “universal spiritual heritage”; Jean Monnet said that if Europe was to be built again, it should definitely start with the culture, and Nicolas Bouvier wrote that “the Balkan is the heart of Europe” in his magnificent book “L’usage du monde”. Therefore, starting this April and following every spring in the future, this heart of Europe shall pulsate in Paris through the films of the SEE cinema.
The Council of the SEE FF in Paris is consisted of 15 members, 12 of which are directors of national film centers or film funds. The Council includes Yves Boisset- President d’honneur, who is a French director and eminent connoisseur of films from the SEE region, Jordan Plevnes- President and founder of the Festival and internationally reputed Macedonian writer, as well as Dragan Milinkovic Fimon- Festival Director, filmologist and festival consultant. President of the Jury is Mr. Max Azoulay, Director of ESRA Group..
The festival program includes feature films, documentaries, animated and short films from all 12 SEE countries. Every festival edition one of the regional festivals from SEE countries will have presentation during the SEE a Paris.
Established in 2012 as a quarterly screening series in Toronto, Canada, Shorts That Are Not Pants is now a festival weekend held each November.
We've screened more than 350 films from 41 countries so far, and we're looking for more undiscovered gems to show our shorts-savvy Toronto audiences. Members of our programming team have experience working for some of the biggest and best festivals in the world (TIFF, Sundance, Hot Docs, Cannes) and travel to festivals around the world seeking out the best films and the brightest filmmakers to support.
Your submission will be evaluated by our team and if chosen, will screen at our festival in November 2020. We have eight years of great programming experience behind us, with lots of audience momentum.
