O Shortcup Film Festival é a copa do mundo de curtas metragens. Os filmes selecionados são distribuídos em 4 dias de exibição, onde cada filme representa seu país e a partir do voto do publico são escolhidos os finalistas e o curta metragem campeão no quinto dia.

A Copa dos Curtas acontece em bares em um formato desportivo, e sua 6ª edição acontecerá esse ano em 4 cidades simultaneamente, onde o vencedor é escolhido pelo voto popular.

As sedes do campeonato deste ano são:

El Shortcup Film Festival es un mundial de cortometrajes. Las películas seleccionadas son distribuidas en 4 días de exhibición donde cada filme representa su país. Por medio del voto popular de los asistentes son escogidos los finalistas y finalmente el cortometraje vencedor en el ultimo dia. El mundial de cortos se lleva a cabo en bares en un formato deportivo. En esta sexta edición se llevará a cabo en 4 ciudades de distintos países simultaneamente donde el ganador será escogido por los mismos espectadores.

O 14º ano incluirá novas adições e competições! O International Horror Hotel Film Festival and Convention é realizado todo mês de junho no nordeste de Ohio. Temos competições abertas para filmes e roteiros nos seguintes gêneros: experimental (somente filmes), fantasia, terror, comédia de terror, terror, terror, ficção científica e suspense. Também aceitamos trailers, videoclipes, pilotos de TV (filme ou roteiro) e episódios da web (filme ou roteiro) para projetos dos gêneros listados.

A competição também está aberta para nossa competição de trilha sonora de filmes de terror (inscrições por meio de nosso site). No evento, também temos competições de maquiagem Scream King/Scream Queen e FX ao vivo.

Este ano, também realizaremos a segunda competição anual de filmes Room 237, onde os cineastas competirão para criar um filme em 30 dias usando uma arma do crime atribuída durante uma reunião inicial do zoom. Mais informações sobre a competição cinematográfica Room 237 estarão disponíveis no site do Horror Hotel Film Festival até janeiro de 2024. Comece a montar sua equipe e prepare-se para competir!

O evento conta com quatro dias de exibições de filmes, dois dias de painéis de discussão e palestras, uma convenção que começa na sexta-feira à tarde, convidados especiais, festas de karaokê de networking, competições ao vivo e muito mais.

Nós, do Radical Frame Film Festival, temos o orgulho de anunciar a edição número doze da série de curtas-metragens.

A ideia do Radical Frame Film Festival começou anos atrás, quando um grupo de ativistas, artistas e amigos de Denver decidiu trazer as mensagens do cinema videoativista aos olhos do público.

Acreditamos que, devido ao clima social e político atual, tanto local quanto globalmente, nossa missão - fornecer um fórum para filmes e debates instigantes - é mais crítica do que nunca.

Estamos comprometidos em apresentar filmes progressistas, esquerdistas, radicais, anti-racistas, experimentais e visionários que abordem questões que incluem, mas não se limitam a, meio ambiente, direitos humanos, injustiça social, antiglobalização, etc...

O Radical Frame Film Festival mostra todos os gêneros de filmes independentes de todo o mundo durante esta incrível celebração bicontinental de artistas independentes.

O Radical Frame Film Festival é um fórum onde os cineastas podem prosperar fora da arena convencional.

A série de curtas-metragens chama a atenção para curtas-metragens verdadeiramente independentes, criados por cineastas novos e consagrados. O objetivo é permitir que qualquer pessoa, independentemente do país, realize seus sonhos e comece a dar os passos para viver a vida com paixão e propósito.

O CINELEBU tem como objetivo fornecer aos criadores audiovisuais chilenos e internacionais uma plataforma para a promoção, comercialização e distribuição de curtas-metragens de ficção, documentários e animação. O festival promove a produção audiovisual de alta qualidade técnica e artística, ao mesmo tempo que facilita e cria espaços para networking, oportunidades de negócios, apoio e intercâmbio de obras atuais e futuras. Também fortalece o treinamento, a educação e o desenvolvimento do público.

O festival acontecerá de 22 a 30 de maio de 2026, na região de Biobío, Chile, com sedes principais em Lebu (capital da província de Arauco) e Concepción. O festival também contará com locais de exibição virtuais em nível nacional e internacional.

How do we utilize cinema’s power to activate?
Can we work together so that films gain better momentum festival to festival and unleash the power of the combined festival community in some way?

Are we utilizing the strength of the festivals as an information gathering and dissemination tool as fully as we might?

What information is not being gathered when we collect films and crowds and can we change that?

This is the data age. Are we embracing transparency as fully as we might?

As trusted curators of this colossal heap of cinema culture, how do we really make a difference on a long term basis?

Is a short burst of guidance enough?

Growth requires consistency and do we provide that?

We are the filter, the trusted source. Film festivals are discovery platform for films that might otherwise be ignored. How to carry that over to the online environment?

How do we transform young people into loyal cinema lovers?

We are losing the youth. Can we stem the tide?

Directors' Fortnight Kolkata is first of it's kind from India. The festival will be curated by a Curator.

The Venue of the Festival will be at "Doab", One and only independent filmmaking space in Kolkata. The festival program includes Seminar, Talks, and Workshops as an attraction along with the Live screening of International Films.

During the festival, The Venue "Doab" will also reflect Artistic endeavor of a few Award winning Fine Art Artist. Directors' Fortnight Kolkata will give an unforgettable experience to its Participants.

True Edit Award – You create a short film using only the material (audio/visuals) provided by the 90 minute feature without losing the essence of the story!

Lancaster International Film Festival is held in the historic city of Lancaster, England. The city is famous for its Castle, Cathedral and Priory, and was the location of the infamous Pendle Witch Trial of 1612.

The "Oregon Short Film Festival" is a showcase of independent short films from around the world for the Portland, Oregon audience in the Northwest USA. One full Saturday of 100 short films will be compiled and screened at the Avalon Theater on Blu-Ray DVD. All short films that are under 20:00 minutes in length are eligible for submission. Women in Focus emerged in 2009 with the aim of encouraging the promotion and protection of women's rights through film, through the dissemination of films that allow give visibility to the violation of their rights and encourage debate. In this way he sought to create an open standard for men and women around the world space where open dialogue between genres and promote the active participation of the whole society to defend the full exercise of human rights, with a focus on the situation women in the world. The axis of Women in Focus is on the woman and her history of violations, to disseminate and denounce the naturalization of the unjust conditions they are facing, and give visibility to the diversity of social, cultural experiences and forms of organization, aiming thinking about other possible worlds. Through films about women also understand and discuss the construction of gender and how it is all of society we seek.

FICUNAM, the UNAM International Film Festival, was founded by the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2011. The intention of the Festival is to promote the exhibition in Mexico of critical and innovative cinema, both domestic and foreign, in a space open to reflection, discussion of ideas, and networking. The editorial line of the Festival represents its political stance, in terms of aesthetics’ politics.

The seventh edition of FICUNAM will be held from February 21st to 28th, 2017. The award ceremony will take place in Mexico City on Tuesday 28th of February, 2017.

O 13º Cinefest Subterrâneo de Torino acontecerá no final de setembro de 2026 no esplêndido “Cinema Baretti”, no coração de “San Salvario”, um dos bairros mais vibrantes da cidade. Mais uma vez, esta edição confirma a parceria com a distribuidora “Piano B”, que garantirá a distribuição teatral e televisiva de longas-metragens e documentários selecionados considerados mais adequados para comercialização.
