HISTORY:
«BRIDGES» INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL was established in 2008 in the framework of celebrations of 150 years of the foundation of Corinth. It was held Under the Auspices of Ministry of Transport and Communications in Greece and was organized in cooperation with the Cultural Centre of Corinth. It was greeted by the Minister of Transport and Communication, the Mayor of Corinth, the President of the Cultural Centre and the Prefect of Peloponnesus

The program, apart from the screenings of the Panorama, Competition and other sections included also the screening of a selection of short films by Cine Fantom, especially chosen for Peloponnesian Corinthian International Film Festival. «The main Club in Moscow» – this is how the press refers to CINE FANTOM. This is, however, no wonder for the club with the 20 years history. CINE FANTOM Club has been holding screenings every Wednesday for many years, regardless of weather and political conditions. For many years on, the club has managed to stick to such a weekly format. CINE FANTOM, however has also its own festival, SELECTION, a unique event which aims at promotion and development of young cinema.

The 2nd edition of the festival took place in 2011. On 2009 and 2010 it was cancelled due to national elections that occurred the same period. The opening of the 2nd festival was scheduled on October 14th 2009 with the presence and a live concert by the famous actor of Hollywood, Kevin Costner with his music band Modern West! Unfortunately, the national elections were announced on the 6th of September to be held on the 10th of October and the festival was cancelled. Within the framework of its annual organization Bridges International Film Festival, carries on its close partnership with local authorities and other organizations, willing to provide to such an important aspect of our lives, culture, which is weakened through these hard times we are going through. During the same event, excursions to archeological sites, cruises in Canal of Isthmus and a film poster exhibition took place.

PROGRAMME:
In order to be able to accommodate the needs of the vast number of cinephiles and cinemagoers of Greece, which has proved to be big and varied during past organizations, this year`s festival edition has created Special theme screenings as the «World Cinema – Bridges» section. As the BRIDGES International Film festival concurs often with the International Day of People with Disability, a part of our screenings is dedicated to films about human disabilities, under the symbolic title «We can do». Furthermore, the audience will have the unique opportunity to watch films by upcoming filmmakers premiering in the festival. Some of the most outstanding feature films created recently are going to compete for the festival`s Grand Prize «Golden Pegasus», which is going to be given to the film indicated by an internationally acclaimed Jury of cinema professionals.

The 55th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival continues its totally dedicated Independent Film screening format for the upcoming April 20-24, 2022 unspooling. WorldFest will screen just 60-80 feature film premieres and over 130 Shorts with a total and absolute emphasis on the American and International Independent feature film and a continuing annual spotlight on award-winning short films and documentary films. Entries Officially Open Aug. 15, 2021. The EarlyBird Entry Deadline is Nov. 15th 2021 – A Mail-By/Enter By/Ship-By Deadline! Entries do not have to arrive by this deadline. The Main Entry Deadline is December 15, 2021. The Late Entry Deadline is Jan 15th 2022!

ANIMACINE - Agreste Animation Festival is part of an artistic and play concept popularized by the name ANIMACINE, which through the audio-visual spectrum popularizes the exhibition, the dialogue and the production of cartoons, mainly in the north / northeast of the country. The Liverpool Irish Festival is proud to be supporting the inaugural Celtic Animation Film Festival, which will feature as part of this year’s programme, showcasing creative ingenuity and stories from and about Celtic life. The main focus of this festival-within-a-festival will take place 20-21 October 2017 and will involve screenings, talks and awards.

The inaugural Celtic Animation Film Festival competition provides a platform for established animators of Celtic heritage and emerging Celtic animators from around the world.

CAFc celebrates storytelling relating to Celtic identity, myths, cultural history and personal stories from Celtic animators from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, Brittany and Cornwall and those who have migrated around the world. CAFc also welcomes international animation submissions celebrating cultural diversity and identity from outside the Celtic regions.

Los Angeles Academy of Film Awards (LAAFA) is an organization focused on bringing Independent films from around the world a venue to show filmmakers’ shorts and feature films to an audience in the center of the Entertainment Industry. LAAFA is a quarterly festivals with a yearly LIVE screening, for selected winners from each quarter, held in Hollywood, California on February 10, 2018. All filmmakers who entered are welcome to join us at the LIVE screening. We will also hold Q&A’s as a live streamed interviews for those filmmakers’ films who can not attend.

Das Tallahassee Film Festival ist stolz auf außergewöhnliche und unerwartete Programmierungen. Das Tallahassee Film Festival fand im Mai 2008 seine Eröffnungsveranstaltung statt. Seitdem hat das Festival bahnbrechende Filme und Filmemacher in die Hauptstadt Floridas gebracht. Das „Screen Short Fest 2024" ist ein internationales Kurzfilmfestival, das in seinem sechsten Jahr stattfindet. Das Festival ist die Idee von Herrn Soham Banerjee, einem preisgekrönten Kurzfilmregisseur und Unternehmer.

Das Festival lädt alle Kurzfilmer mit ihren Kurzfilmen aus den Genres Live-Action und Animation in jeder Sprache (mit englischen Untertiteln) innerhalb einer Dauer von 20 Minuten (einschließlich Titel und Abspann) ein.

Das 19. Asiana International Short Film Festival (AISFF2021) wird vom AISFF Executive Committee präsentiert.

Das Tlanchana Fest, Festival für Kino und digitale Kunst, wird von Tlanchana Cultura Audiovisual AC veranstaltet, um einen Ausstellungsraum für aufstrebende Talente aus Mexiko und der Welt zu schaffen, indem Elemente kombiniert werden, die das filmische Schaffen in Verbindung mit neuen Medien und digitaler Kunst fördern.

Die 9. Ausgabe des Tlanchana Fest findet vom 3. bis 5. Juli 2025 statt und umfasst eine Reihe von Vorführungen, Konferenzen und Workshops sowie Einrichtungen und andere Aktivitäten, die virtuell und persönlich durchgeführt werden und als Anreiz für die Arbeit in den Bereichen Film- und Digitalkunst dienen werden.
